The service was extremely attentive, the rooms beautifully designed and the food, (although a limited menu because of the size of the hotel,) was very good. It looked a little bit "tired" in places |

The fantastic view of Rio. Breakfast viewing the Corcovado and Pao de Acucaer. Also the nice rooms with jaccuzi The road uphill at night can feel a bit uncorfortable (by taxi). We were recommended by friends that confirmed Santa Teresa was ok. Is very close to Cosme Velho to go up Corcovado but no so good if you plan tourism in Copacabana/Ipanema or Centre areas. |

The hotel views were amazing and definitely worth the stay. The staff were extremley helpful with arranging taxis and recommending restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel but ensure people knew to budget for taxi journeys during their stay. The hotel is reasonably far away from the main attractions and restaurants, so we spent a small fortune on taxis journeys. However I do appreciate that Rio is a very large city so finding a 'central' location would be very diffiucult. |

The view was beautiful, the rooms were unique and high class, the atmosphere of the hotel was chic, the breakfast was excellent. We were not able to have supper as the cook went home, however a beautiful restaurant was suggested. |

The staff are very friendly and English is spoken. They take time to get the little things right, such as knowing where to get travellers Cheques changed on a Sunday and having the right electrical adaptors. The rooms are light, modern and airy. Breakfast is a delightfully fresh meal that can be taken on the hotel balcony with spectacular views over Rio. There was nothing I disliked but do not choose this hotel if you're going to Rio to spend days sunbathing on the beach. However if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Copacabana then this is the place. You need to take a taxi to most places which cost about R$25 to the beaches or R$10 to St Teresa. |

We stayed in the hotel for few nights. The hotel is ok but they are missing lots of small details to make it better. The atmosphere at the hotel is not great...there is no music at the dining area or something to make it attractive (even with an amazing views, but you have amazing views everywhere in Rio). The reception staff was not very kind during our stay |

The view, the view and the view. Very helpful staff and meals as needed. An ideal boutique hotel. WiFi was spotty in our hotel. Guests must understand the need to taxis when you are up on the hill. |

The room design and the spetacular view of Rio. The hot water supply was broken. Thus the hot tube and shower could not be used. No good for a honeymoon... So, we checked out late at night. Fortunately, the manager was fair and kind enough to cancel all charges. To be fair, I must remark here that the problems we faced my not reflect the usual business operation. |

Excellent view over Rio. Very nice rooms. The staff extremely helpful. Quite remote location, nothing within walking distance so you need to take taxis (which are quite reliable and arrive in around 10 minutes. |

Fantastic hotel with great views of the city. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks English and were great at recommending good places to visit in Rio. Very chilled out atmosphere The hotel only provides double rooms and has no singles or twins |

The hotel staff was truly the best attribute of the hotel, very helpful, friendly and frankly we wouldn't had such good time if it wasn't for their advice, suggestions and assistance. We have also enjoyed the hotel breakfast, never crowded, always fresh and in great ambience. As for the hotel facilities; the location in 'Santa Teresa' is really nice (amazing views incl. small monkeys). It could have been perfect if the hotel had a fitness facilities. |

Of course the spectacular views you have from the hotel. The staff was really friendly and very helpful. The only negative thing we experienced was the mold we discovererd around the showerhead. In time, this gave a unpleasant smell, which was initially covered up cleaning materials. |

Homely and personal in very designer chic surroundings. Views were stunning. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We did not have a daily maid service though this was not important for a 2 night stay. Situated away from the centre of Santa Theresa so either a very long walk to get anywhere or a taxi are essential. The panorama more than makes up for this though. |
