- Amazing view from the rooms, swimming pool and restaurant to the Guanabara Bay, the Sugar Loaf and Corcovado! - Very friendly staff. I do speak Portuguese, so I haven't tested their English knowledge. - Large and very well decorated suite, equipped with a large bed, a Jacuzzi and a mini-bar (Pao de Acucar suite). - Very romantic place! I was there for just one night with my boyfriend and we’d like to stay longer! - There is a small restaurant with very nice food, where the breakfast is served. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruits, fresh juice fruits, yogurt, granola, bread, ham, two types of cheese, butter, jelly… (typical Brazilian breakfast!). You can also have dinner at the restaurant, which was an awesome experience since the food was very good and the weather was great!

- Not a big deal, but wine list in the restaurant was very limited. If you are very pick, I suggest you to bring your own wine! - It is not easy to call a cab to pick you up there. The hotel suggests a private driver, what is ok, but it is a little overpriced comparing to a regular cab and considering the maintenance of the vehicle. In the way back it is quite easy to catch a cab to drive you there.

The food upset my stomach and it was far to get into town. When I tried to walk a woman tried to steal my belongings from me.

The view of the city is breath taking! You can see Sugar Loaf and Christo Redentor whilst swimming in the pool. Very friendly staff!

Amazing views, beautiful terrace, helpful staff. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, hot tubs work. Anything you need, you'll get, just find somebody to ask.

Walls in room could use fresh paint in a few areas. Need car or cab to get to hotel from city but views from room and over all value are well worth it.

Everything. It was my second stay within 3 weeks. The most beautiful thing is, you stay in the heart of Rio, right in an abundant vegetation and you see the Sugarloaf and the Corcovado from your terrace at the same time.

Very nice hotel. The owner was super friendly and went above and beyond to see that we had a great time. They gave us a free upgrade. Great pool and gorgeous views, perfect for relaxing

Breakfast was too light, no hot food. Had issues with Internet on the last day.

Really nice rooms with a beautiful view. I mean beautiful! The hotel is a little bit far from the city center, which we liked. Perfect place for quiet days, but easy to get to Lapa, Copacabana, Ipanema etc. We saw reviews where some people complained about the breakfast, but we thought it was actually really, really good. The staff spoke perfectly english and could help us with everything. They even drove us to the bus station, taxi station etc. We would love to go back!

A lot of taxi drivers had problems with finding the place even though we gave them the address.. But ask the reception and they can help you with what you should say to the driver.

John the owner spoke several languages, extremely helpful with all information especially about the minibus from Largo do Machado r$2.75 &Amp; the driver will stop when asked. The view is fantastic of Sugar Loaf Mountain & Corcovado. Great breakfast and pool. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Location a bit far from beaches

we were in honeymoon in the place and it was amazing, great place! very nice pool, outstanding view, and the room are well equiped and decorated. staff is kind and helpfull, hope we will come back soon :-)

I'd like to suggest Rio 180° Suites because it's a special corner of Rio De Janeiro, far from the commercial and conventional locations. If you would like to taste the real side of the city in a friendly and nice atmosphere,it's the place for you! Please consider that the city is really big and the traffic is awful, so if you want to move free you should rent a car because it takes time from Santa Teresa to the beach! You are really close to Corcovado and to the wonderful Tijuca forest... to Rio De Janeiro wild and unconventional side.

I did not like anything

When we first arrived the manager didn't really explain a lot, we eventually had to ask heaps of questions. The hotel should be classified as 3 stars not 4 stars as in booking.com. My partner was very sick at the time so we didn't want to leave the hotel room, there was no restaurant to eat at and when we asked for boiling water on both occasions they took over an hour to give it to us. The view is not that great, the pool was dirty, they didn't clean the room at all. Then when it came time to pay, the manager wasn't there but another receptionist took the payment, didn't bother keeping a copy of the receipt or anything, she left and then the manager held us up while our chauffeur was waiting for us, as he needed to see a copy of the receipt. It was absolutely appalling

Individual modern suite design, complete with own jacuzzi. Personal and romantic. Beautiful views. Lovely breakfast.

Location - Rio 180 is a little out from the main tourist area. Although there are regular bus services and metro to access different parts of Rio.

Better than any hotel I have ever stayed in, in Rio. Amazing views. Excellent staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. I look forward to returning next year when the restaurant and other suites are complete. Great location for relaxing. We loved the upgraded room.

No bathroom doors, but it was not a problem for us. The room felt a little damp, but that is to be expected in the hills of Brasil. We turned on the air conditioning and it was better.

Super view from the room and enjoyable jacuzzi. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Also the breakfast was very diverse and very good.

Bad maintenance of the building, But they are busy to paint etc so maybe temporarily. Jacuzzi power button taped with paint tape onto the jacuzzi... (not safe) Minibar not refilled.
