Royal Golden Hotel    

Clean, shower was great, breakfast was very good.

Had 2 single beds in the room despite specifically requesting a double bed.

Had a nice stay in the Royal Golden Towers Hotel. It's located in the Savassi area, which hosts some of the best restaurants, coffeshops, nightclubs and pâtisseries.

Nothing to complain about the hotel. But, as in any other big city, I would advice pedestrians to take special attention for pickpockets when walking in the busy streets nearby.

I made reservation for 2 days middle of the week rate for second day was almost double then first one. the hotel excused it as it fully booked. from expirience with other hotels, once you start you checkin with a certain rate its stay without considaration of occupation of the rooms, rate can change according to the fix rate policy such as low / high season, weekend, hollidays and so on

It was in a relaively safe neighborhood

It was a bit too far from the city centre and traffic was heavy in the street in front of the hotel, so getting anywhere by taxi was difficult. I was also asked to pay an additional 15% on the price of the room I booked as I was informed that taxes were not included in the rate I booked. I have no idea if this is true or not.

They apply the daily rate instead of the one you book in the site. Paid internet is not acceptable.

The breakfast is excellent! And the location is very good. There are a lot of pubs near the hotel.

Staff were pretty efficient and considerate, as they arranged taxi cabs as soon as I phoned the front desk. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. It is located in a fantastic area, close to supermarkets, drugstores and most bus lines.

Quite pricey considering what was offered. Cable tv wouldn't tune most of the stations offered. The breakfast area is big and offered a vast variety of fruits, breads and light products, but the omelette was just cold and watery. Again, too expensive for a couple of nights.

Location and room size.

The tv in the room is pathetic, a r$590 per night room with a small poor quality tv is not acceptable. I was leaving very early in the morning, and asked to have a simple breakfast in my room, coffee, bread, fruit and juice because I had to leave before the breakfast was served. I recieved no response and no breakfast however was still charged $18 for the breakfast which is supposed to be included in the room price. Very poor service for a R$590 per night room.

Foi um dos melhores hoteis em que me hospedei. O atendimento é perfeito, nos quartos o ambiente mostra um requinte muito bom, com todas as comodidades necessárias e o restaurante é ótimo.

Hotel oferece omelete no cafe da manhã e quando solicitado café no quarto cobrou além da tarifa de servir no quarto (+/- R$25) o preço do omelete (R$ 14).

As camas de solteira são minusculas e o colchão super desconfortável.

A diária começa às 14h, contudo, o quarto só foi liberado às 14h30 porque ficamos "no pé" da recepcionista. Os travesseiros são muito altos gerando desconforto para aqueles que necessitam dos mais baixos. Para os que já se hospedaram no hotel e o conhecem bem o roupão fez falta!!! Esse era um dos diferenciais do hotel e para reduzir a diária foi retirado, deixando os hóspedes mais antigos saudosos desse mimo. Além da demora na disponibilidade do quarto a recepção estava com um andaime enorme no hall para troca das lâmpadas e os hóspedes não tinham lugar para sentarem, pois assim que se acomodavam em um sofá o andaime os obrigava o trocar de lugar novamente.

Recepcionistas atenciosos. Café da manhã diversificado e de boa qualidade. Quarto amplo, boa cama, TV LCD com variedade de canais, ar-condicionado split em bom estado de funcionamento. Restaurante funciona à noite.

Internet a 15 reais por 24 horas de uso, mas com boa conectividade e velocidade. Toalhas um pouco desgastadas pelo uso.

Localização e acomodações

Taxa extra de "impostos" cobrado pelo Hotel e não mencionado na promoção do Booking no ato da reserva pelo site. No check out, veio descrito na nota fiscal que esta diferença era taxa de estacioamento, sendo que a garagem pertence a uma empresa de parking, onde paguei a parte sem observar no momento que fui cobrado duas vezes. A recepção foi lenta nas digitações, mas muito simpática. &Quot;Empurravam" também uma cobrança de brigobar ( um chocolate ) à maioria dos hóspedes sem haver o consumo, gerando constrangimento a todos
