    The best is the location. Good sauna and pool. The room is OK, has a mini living with small kitchen area.

    The gym is very poor. The restaurant is awful and the breakfast is poor.

    the kindness of Mr. Wagner, Mr. Netto and Mr. Luis, the rest of the staff should be fired.

    I have been staying in this hotel regularly during the last 3 years. My last visit during the last two months was the worst experience I ever had in my life. I was operated in Sao Paulo because I had broken my ankle in Rio de Janeiro. Since the moment of the check in the staff at the reception was extremely rude, rigid and arrogant and I did not receive the least help I needed. I’ve informed them my medical insurance would pay my whole stay , however the afternoon receptionist blocked 2000 euros in my credit card. The arrogance and bad education of Mr. Giulio Cesar , Mr. Gilmario and the afternoon receptionist were shocking and I believe they deserve to be fired if the hotel intends to have a basic standard of respect towards the customes.. The gave me a very old room , the TV in the room did not work and furniture were showing the age and the wear. As a matter of fact rooms are worn down and outdated. Wi-fi service is very erratic and slow. Minibar prices are a complete rip-off in its high prices and breakfast service is the poorest in the whole Brasil. The cleaning ladies do they work very quickly and unproperly , therefore the rooms remain always dirty. If all the above mentioned is not enough , I have to tell that the employee of the bar intended to “ sell “ me ice I asked to cure my ankle. He said ice could not be charged on the bill and he demanded me 10 U$ dollars in cash. My logic reaction was to inform the manager about this very strange request. Some days later the bar employee came back telling to me that he would “ break my face “. I’ve reported the manager about the threat of the employee. The reply of the Transamerica Hotel was quite funny , they did not apologize about the threat and some days later when I was checking out for a couple of days they send Mr. Marcio ( a front desk clerk ) to inform me the hotel was fully booked , so there would not be any room available for me. Half an hour later I ‘ve accessed Booking.

    Inclusive breakfast was reasonable by Brazilian standards. Lounge area in apartment was suitable for a medium term stay (10 days in our case). Premium cable TV channels was a bonus. Great location for bars, shops and restaurants, also perfectly safe to walk around at any time of the day.

    Kitchenette facilities consisted solely of a refrigerator, a sink and crockery/cutlery. No microwave, stove or even a kettle were available.

    The location is perfect.

    Needs a renovation (new beds, batheroom, everything is old and the breakfast area needs more attention)

    staff Pizza and bar just opposite to hotel I stayed for 6 hours only but was amazed by the helpful staff my room was clean and comfortable so I had nice 2 hours nap

    Location is excellent and staff very friendly. I could easily live there as my home away from home

    Interned it next to zero. Big chane to enchant guest by improving it Cable TV only available in the living - not in the bedroom - another good improvement to think about

    The location is excellent

    Rooms ending with 5 ("Five") have the bedroom wall facing the service elevator. Needless to say the noise is very annoying (day and night).

    Very good location. Good restaurants near by as well as good for shopping. Safe place

    It was a very cold weekend. The room , which is very good, should be warmer.

    1) The rooftop, with pool and view on the city. 2) Rooms are wide and spacious

    1) Wifi is slow and breaking often (ok, it's free, but it's also almost useless) 2) the safe is probably from the '70s, you need a card-key to close it so you always need to bring it with you 3) be careful with the laundry: regardless of what's written on the form, service is not available on Saturdays, so if you send the package on Friday, you are forced to ask for express delivery (+50%)
