friendly staff, big room with comfy beds, nice pool, located close to airport, great breakfast and good dinner, booked one of the best massages here
The beds were excellent - probably the best I've had my travels. Highly polished floor was clean and very comfortable on our feet. Food was plentiful, and even on my restricted diet found enough to eat. Internet was free on your own device. We didn't use the pool or gym.
Our room, 209, had tiny ants crawling all over the bathroom. The wide stone floor hallway had nothing to muffle sound, so walkers, talkers, and young children made lots of noise early in the morning. All day as well, and into the evening. Some of the front desk staff was friendly, some not. Just depends who's on duty when you need someone, and which languages they speak..
Not far from the airport and the falls, also the border with argentina is close. The bus to the airport and falls or argentina stops at the hotel. Good english speaking staff also
There was a lot of noice the last day we stayed there. They renovated the rooms next to ours and started working at 7h in the morning. They could have given us another room that day...
The staff at the reception both day and night were excellent and they all seems to speak English almost fluently. They assisted with the tours and they changed my room to get a swimming pool view from 230 to 208 which has a swimming pool view Rooms from 201 - 215 and the same corresponding numbers has like 101-115 and 301-315 all has better views The toe. Is on the same stretch of road that leads to both the Brasiluan and Argentinian side of the falls. It's only R$3 by bus which is literally on the left side of the hotel. The journey is about 15- -20 minutes. Alternatively you can go by taxi which is R$33. The tour from the hotel will charge you $R100 for the transportation fee which was a bit greedy on her part. The first hotel I stayed charged R$80 for transportation. Personally, I do not see the advantage of a tour guide because when you get there, you pay R$ 40 entrance fee, hop into a bus that will take you to all the important points in the falls. The reception staff disregarded the extra charge of R$18 that Mr Lina the rude restaurant manager Included as part of the full meal. Which cost about R$46. Thanks for the understanding. Lovely location and lovely hotel. Highly recommended and will definitely come back
The Manager of the restaurant was a bit out of order. I requested for a change of my pineapple drink and he got all stroppy. Walked away angrily and asked one of his assistants to replace drink. He now deliberately delayed my desert by almost 20 minutes and refused to serve me. After 29 minutes of patience, I ask one of his assistants to have a word with him. He knew what he would have got from me and eventually directed his assistant to bring my desert. I asked the assistant, are you sure this is part of the whole 3 course meal. He said Yes and eventually came back with a desert. I was later charged an extra $$18 for this desert. I made a complaint to the reception staff and they waived the charge. Thanks to them I made a complaint to the good reception staff. His name is Lima and a bit of an old skool.. Requesting for a change of the same drink should not turn into a melodrama.
location near the Cataratas do Iguaçu by car; in front at Bourbon Hotel and Mabu Hotel, wich I will stay next time.
My room flooded with water due to a leak at the WC's hygienic shower during late night. We wake up with another guest knocking the door because the water was overflowing to the aisle, and our room was with 2 inches of water on the floor ! We called the reception to change the room , but they were full, so someone f came up from the front desk and took around 2 hours to dry the room and the WC. Not an easy night... Would not stay here again. They also charged more for the reservation then at the booking site.
It was in front of another hotel, much more expensive, where the conference I attended was going on. It was also relatively close to the airport and to the border to Paragay.
Nice, big room with two large beds, excellent breakfast buffet
Location far from the town, but good for visiting the falls
Breakfast! And nice Pool area!
Everything was good.
Bus stop (which looks like a taxi station) just in front of the hotel. From here you can get to the falls. Nice, spacious room, large pool in the backyard. There is a tourist office right next to the hotel. They’re really helpful, speak good English. Downtown is 10 min by bus. (Get off at McDonald’s and then turn right where you will find (it seems like) the town’s only supermarket (it was hard to find any!) If you have a debit card in Europe pay with it like a credit card (just say it is to the cashier), anyway it won’t be accepted.
Concerning the hotel size, not too much choice at breakfast. The free wifi often doesn’t work and need to ask new password at reception. It’s better to exchange USD in morning, because they are often out of cash. Lack of useful information. You have to ask everything, because they won’t tell you anything about the area and the public transportation. For example: (1) how to get to the falls (both sides), (2) where’s the bus stop (they only told us „over there” but it’s not clear, there were so many buses but actually those were parked at the parking lot of the hotel on the opposite side, (3) when the buses are coming (it’s quite hard to get to the Argentin side, probably only a couple of buses/day. On Sunday morning we had been waiting for 1,5 hours long, no buses were coming headed to ARG, then we took a taxi. (4) Only take taxi to ARG and back. You have to change bus at the city center on ARG side. Our way back to Brazil the bus left us on the Brazilian side while we went to the office to get our stamp. We had to wait 1,5 hour to the next bus! Taxi fee from the hotel to the Argentin park entrance cost real 90. (5) You can’t exchange your currency to argentin peso (we did it in Paraguay the day before), but they only accept arg peso (no USD, no Real, no Credit/Debit card) at Iguassu Park (Argentin side).
This is a modern very nice hotel located on the Brazilian side of the falls. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was huge like at a resort and breakfast was included. We had two other meals at the hotel which were very good and reasonably priced. The price of the room included free parking and free Internet. The staff was courteous and efficient. This is probably one of the best deals in Iguazu but a car is required as the hotel is not close to the Falls.
It took us two hours to go thru the Argentinean customs to visit the Argentina side of the Falls
good quality for money, clean rooms, tasty food, bus stop to falls and city just in front of, taxi stop also
rooms could be more spacious
