The Hotel Villa Bahia is housed in what was originally two adjoining houses one XVII century the other XVIII century. It is beautifully furnished with antiques and antique copies. It is located in the heart of Pelourinho, the historic disrtic of Salvador and a great starting point for explorations of this remarkable neighborhood so rich with cultural treasures. Irecommend it highly. |

the atmosphere/feeling you get at the hotel - warm bahia style.Nice selection of local furniture/decoration. fyi- the reception staff are French english speaking. Very friendly people . Nice boutique hotel. price premium compared to other hotels |

Ongekende luxe voor de locatie en ruimte ( 17 kamers). De inrichting is een combinatie van coloniaal met een grote invloed van lokaal ambachtswerk en kunstenaars zonder kitch te worden. Het eten is subliem en onbegrijpelijk dat het restaurant leeg is. De lokatie is precies inhet historisch centrum waar veel culturele evenementen plaatsvinden met de daarbij horende geluids "overlast". De kamers zijn geïsoleerd maar enige mate van het onvrijwilig mee krijgen van de samba/drum bandsis onvermijdelijk. Wij hebben een zeer goede tijd doorgebracht met onze 3 jarige en hebben weer geboekt. |
