Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom! Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean, quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

Not a thing - its a great hotel.

The hotel is lovely and has a great location. The staff were very helpful and all spoke good english. The room was clean and the decor modern and well kept.

Transport to and from the airport if arranged by the hotel was very expensive more than twice the price of a taxi.

Huge comfy bed. Food was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful , particularly the young doorman...

Kept running out of loungers on the beach...

Breakfast was very good and you have to choice so many things..., the pool on the roof a dream, the staff was very friendly, fitness and spa okay

The internet is very expensive for a 5 star hotel it should be for free, the reception staff was a bit complicated, and the room was noisy even in the 15th floor - you heard the traffic very loud

I highly recommend this hotel it far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were top notch, great breakfast well worth the price

There was really not much to like about this place. For being a 4-5 star hotel, it fell short of all expectations. The only thing I can honestly say I liked about it was the breakfast.

Where to begin...When we got there, the A/C did not work, we switched rooms twice, but it seemed that none of the rooms had A/C that was working. Then, in the middle of the night, it seemed the A/C got even worse. The rooms are mediocre at best and the service was horrible. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are too many other good hotels in the area to waste your time and money here.

Location of the hotel was superb, easy access to the Copacabana beach with complimentary beach towels and unbrellas, great beach staff

I had cool vacation at this hotel with my friends! Much of the merit why it was nice to stay in this hotel - it's staff! Friendly atmosphere that they create! Staff who really care for each person! Special thanks to the concierge Dario - thanks to his advice and recommendations we have not forgotten impressions of Rio! Liked the breakfast, everything was always fresh and tasty. The view from the hotel is excellent and memorable! Kobakobana beach is something special! On this beach a lot of people but I still feel there free like every person their have own space)) You do not feel cramped as I felt on Ipanema beach. I think this is because of its size! A walk in evening on the beach and listening the waves was a big pleasure! I wish you all to have a great rest in Rio ! And enjoy the time in this hotel )))

Price / quality definitely not the best deal (hotels in Rio are expensive). No free WIFI.... No free car park The view from the room was horrible; a wall! A had requested a room with a view.

The location of hotel is great right opposite copacabana beach and the hotel has loungers towels and umbrellas on the beach free of charge to guests. The food is superb. Breakfast had a great variety and the fruit especially was varied and fresh. The help from the concierge desk was fantastic and they could help us in english which made life easy. Great hotel

Location - right on Copacabana Beech. Upgraded to a superior room! Excellent view. Excellent housekeeping staff.

Asked for a kettle 3 times - but it never came. Cryptic translation regarding substitution of room service for buffet breakfast - so we were charged for breakfast. Ended up getting part of the charge refunded. Front desk staff was very pleasant about the mix up.

The friendly service at the beach area - the ease of getting chairs and towels and umbrellas. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The view was also fantastic.

The woman at the concierge desk during the day was unfriendly and unhelpful. The man who was there in the evening was much more accommodating.

The location is good but the receptipn area and common use space in general are small for the number of people the hotel can receive I had to wait over 1/2 hr for my car to come from valet service and the libby as is small was overflowing with people Will definetely not stay there if it is an event /long weeek end occasion

All common areas / difficult to get car back from valet if hotel crowded or special events .we had to contend with a 3 days week end plus a gay parade in front

We loved the amazing sea view and the size of the room. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast is very good. It is definitely worth going up to the roof top bar and pool if you have a head for heights as this view is spectacular.

Not Cheap but worth the money

Staff is excellent.....Gym is great....4 Treadmill 2 elliptical...weights other training equipment...seldom see ellipticals in a hotel gym....breakfast buffet is excellent, fresh, very eye appealing, great variety and the staff is excellent. View from roof top is awesome. Excellent view of beach, Sugar Loaf, and Christ the Redeemer.

Internet there is terrible. $35.00 usd per day. Internet was out 5 hours on Sunday and every weekday, between 5pm and 9pm, it is so slow you cannot use it. It knocks you off every site due to the slow speed. Cannot even load gmail.

Location is the only good thing about the hotel

Horrible chambermaids, problems with laundry, poor wi-fi. Service level is like 4 star hotel only.

The room close to the elevators are a bit uncomfortable. Its very expensive when compared to other places, especially in Europe. But its Rio de Janeiro and unfortunately is a sort of "bench-market" expensive policy.

It is a place we want to come again: perfect location, services, staff...
