Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing.
no free wifi
when we arrived they had upgraded us from beach tower to coral tower. our room was right by the rope bridge and we had a great view. thanks for the great time
Excellent water park. Interior and Design of the hotel are very impressive
staff is absolutely inattentive and very slow to respond to the client's requests
The resort is great. There are so many things to do and explore. Yes, the Beach Tower is a little old, but the rooms are not that bad and you get access to everything. Also beggining of December was a very good time for the trip. The weather was good and it was not crowded. There were no lines on the slides
Resort was nice, beach was amazing.
Resort was nice, beach was a lot of the restaurants were closed so there were not a lot of options. The so named "bar and grills" scattered around the resort...sounded like a nice option for lunch... All of them had the same fast food selections, not a bar and grill by any means. Didn't appreciate %15 added to all food and resort bills, if you're going to do that and take the option away from the consumer to show appreciation for good food and/or service then you should call it a resort fee!! As far as I concerned, it was nice to visit for a few days...but wouldn't go back to the Atlantis resort for another vacation...it was overall a disappointment...when considering this was a long time bucket list item for my husband and I.
the beach which God made clean salty water
everything, hotel, staff, cleanliness, value of money (very expensive ), the hotels and the their facilities are not new and they are broken!
No room service in the beach tower is a joke for that price room. Very far walk to even get a cab.
Expensive, only one tap working and no air con working on arrival.tap repaired on request.door key not allowing me in late at night and three extremely long walks back to reception before security finally let me into room.no water at all on day of departure.
The location of the room..it was close to food, pool, front desk and valet.
Didn't like that a lot of the restaurants were closed. The staff gave different answers for the same questions.
beach towers was under renovation so we were upgraded to the coral towers. Atlantis on a budget, so much to do so little time.
food and drinks are expensive. Eat outside the hotel
Best resort ever!!!! No place better to stay in Nassau.
The service from the check in was great. The agent at the coral towers ( Ms. Latetia) was excellent with her customer service and was very helpful in letting us know what was going on that weekend for activities. When we went to dinner the waiters were on point at Bahama Club. Overall we enjoyed our stay... Much, much different this time than the last time we stayed there...service was terrible then...
There was nothing we did not like.
I actually stayed at Coral Tower for the deal I had, I really liked the place. My view from the balcony was the pool. The cleaning lady was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. There is a lot to do for the whole family
I had to walk a long way from the entrance to my room. If you are older, you may want to request a room closer to the entrance
I loved how well we were treated while we stayed. The staff are very kind. This place is great for people of all types, whether it's a holiday with friends, a honeymoon, a getaway for the elderly or for a family. There's really something for everyone.
The only thing I suggest is for there to be cheaper restaurants at dinner or some take away places..
Everything about this place was amazing! From the magnificent views to the endless amount of entertainment and warm welcoming staff, this place was a piece of heaven on earth!!!!
It's the Atlantis. Of course the theme parks and the pools.
23Usd per day for internet. Surprised that the hotel doesn't offer basic for free, even in the lobby. The connection kept dropping. I got the amount refunded which I have to say was handled very well by the chief receptionist Tabitha Smith
Plenty of entertainment facilities - waterpark and casino. The private beach was lovely. Atlantis is a very good resort and you can't help but enjoy yourself. It really caters for all ages and groups. We traveled in September which was not too busy as it was off season. We would note that you are not exposed to the real Bahamian experience (laid back, quiet, slow pace living) which you would find on the other islands. We would recommend couples spending some time on another island in addition to travelling to Atlantis.
Prices of food and beverages were excessive! You had to pay $15 a day to use the gym facilities - this should be complementary. Wifi cost over $20 a day although somehow we managed to get free wifi for most of our stay.
I liked the sex on the smooth clean sheets and the a/c was extremely cold . I liked the pools and rides.
I did not like the prices of the food they sold pool side it was very expensive for little bit of food.
Aqua park, the complimentary coffe and the ice in every floor...
The prices are to high and there should be things included on the room fares, like the wifi, the local calls and the shuttle bus to the airport, and may be even the breakfast, like in most hotels around the world... I think when the "Baha mar hotel" will be ready, most of your clients and possible guests would go there, because your service is poor and people love to have some things includedm without having to pay addittional money for them... Or at least not at those unsensed prices, like the wifi (more than 20 dollars, which is the cost of that service for one month for a family house...
I got a upgrade to to royal tower instead of the beach tower
The outstanding waterpark "Aquaventure" is included. Everything is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. We had a great time with our family of 2 adults and 3 kids ages 11 to 16. We booked two rooms and the staff offered us connecting rooms at check in. The rooms were ready for us, although we arrived at 9 am. Thrilling waterslides and rapid rivers for the bigger ones, lazy rivers, salt water lagoons and many pools for the whole family. It's simply the best waterpark we have ever visited. The beach is also very beautiful and clean. Walking distance (less than 5 mins) to Dunkin Donuts on Paradise Island helped to lower the food costs. The price for the large family pizza in the Marina Pizza restaurant was also ok. Lockers in the center of the waterpark allowed us to store our own cool drinks and a box of donuts.
Food is overpriced in most restaurants in the hotel area and the restaurants don't show a menu with prices on the outside. 15% gratuity is added to all bills, but this is also true for other restaurants outside the hotel. 29$ for a breakfast buffet is too much, if your kids only want a bagel and a chocolate milk for breakfast. The resort is huuuuuge, so if you want to see everything, it is a long walk.
There is a lot to do and see on the property.
Everything is over price and the casino staff was the worst.
The location of Atlantis in general was good and it was easy to get around when needed. They also offer some decent tours for guest and the service from restaurants on the resort are very good. Atlantis is very good for a first timer in the Bahamas as they can help show you what Bahamas is really about. I just don't recommend the beach tower.
Beach tower only really allows you to go to one beach which is a little too crowded, with the locals trying to sell you either there hand made jewelry or a jet ski, parasailing, or a banana boat ride. I assumed these types of activities were done by the hotel, but even the hotel recommend you don't do these activities. When I booked a RESORT at the Bahamas I did not expect to get hassled every 3 minutes by the locals. The room was very old fashioned and the roof around the airconditioning was leaking in 3 different spots and made it difficult to for us to sleep. Also, when I booked this hotel, booking.com made it out that I had paid for the full accommodation, where in fact, I only paid for a deposit of 2 full nights. This infuriated me because I was up for a larger bill then anticipated. Of corse, this was outlined in the fine print of the booking. If I was booking this trip again I would not stay at beach towers, but I would stay at one of the other towers that Atlantis offer e.g. The cove, coral, or royal. We did not get wifi included in the package and had to pay $22 USD for 24 hour usage. If this wasn't bad enough, the wifi was terrible and only worked in your room and in the corridors SOMETIMES. The wifi would constantly cut in and out and it is defiantly not good value for money. Staying at such respected and valued resort, you would expect it to be included, and if paying extra, you would expect it to be a good service. It is the worst I have experienced throughout any of my travels. And wifi is important to most travelers as it is how we contact family and friends back home to ensure all is okay.
