This tower’s lobby features The Dig and Ruins Lagoon, a large open-air marine habitat. Located in the Atlantis Paradise Resort and Casino, it offers colorful rooms with a flat-screen TV.

I got a upgrade to to royal tower instead of the beach tower
There is a lot to do and see on the property.
Everything is over price and the casino staff was the worst.
The location of Atlantis in general was good and it was easy to get around when needed. They also offer some decent tours for guest and the service from restaurants on the resort are very good. Atlantis is very good for a first timer in the Bahamas as they can help show you what Bahamas is really about. I just don't recommend the beach tower.
Beach tower only really allows you to go to one beach which is a little too crowded, with the locals trying to sell you either there hand made jewelry or a jet ski, parasailing, or a banana boat ride. I assumed these types of activities were done by the hotel, but even the hotel recommend you don't do these activities. When I booked a RESORT at the Bahamas I did not expect to get hassled every 3 minutes by the locals. The room was very old fashioned and the roof around the airconditioning was leaking in 3 different spots and made it difficult to for us to sleep. Also, when I booked this hotel, booking.com made it out that I had paid for the full accommodation, where in fact, I only paid for a deposit of 2 full nights. This infuriated me because I was up for a larger bill then anticipated. Of corse, this was outlined in the fine print of the booking. If I was booking this trip again I would not stay at beach towers, but I would stay at one of the other towers that Atlantis offer e.g. The cove, coral, or royal. We did not get wifi included in the package and had to pay $22 USD for 24 hour usage. If this wasn't bad enough, the wifi was terrible and only worked in your room and in the corridors SOMETIMES. The wifi would constantly cut in and out and it is defiantly not good value for money. Staying at such respected and valued resort, you would expect it to be included, and if paying extra, you would expect it to be a good service. It is the worst I have experienced throughout any of my travels. And wifi is important to most travelers as it is how we contact family and friends back home to ensure all is okay.
Nice pls for families with Children! Young couples without can stay there 1 or 2 night till it gets boring. Hotel is very big and lifts are frequently occupied. However the Hotel is clean and nice.
How busy it is.
The location of the room was very noisy. We were very close to the water falls. The ceiling outside our door was leaking and the blower to dry the carpet was so loud that i couldnt get a good sleep. The view from our room was not appealing. we did asked for a room with a view of the water and tower also a terrace but i didnt care about the terrace when we went in the room on the first dat. They did ask us if we want to move because we also had a problem with the AC but was fixed later on. we decided not to because they were gonna put us in a room with no view or just as bad. They gave us a $100 credit but I still wouldn't choose this hotel..
Its a huge property and you won't miss opportunities to do something. I appreciate that you were able to use everything and weren't limited to your hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable, I haven't slept this good in a long time. The beach was really nice and the water beautiful.
I have a 18month old and we weren't really able to go to the beach, because they didn't offer any real shade. The lounge chairs had a roof, but that only gave you shade in a certain angle and most certainly not for kids playing in the sand. I wished they would also have offered a kids area at the beach. Not everybody can always bring the sand toys along. I also thought that some of the food was really over prized for the quality they offer.
Physical facility was impressive. Most things very over priced compared to US. Example - $6.50 for a small box of band aids... $28 for an average brkfst ...
Prices- inAbility to buy a bottle of soda in the sundries stores
I liked that total access was given to all the tower facilities...the food was excellent...the ambiance was amazing...the staff was very courteous and professional; I would definitely visit again! An unforgettable experience!
Facilities and Service
Extra charge for WiFi services
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was amazing.
Didn't like that I had to walk so far to access the hotel. Rented a car and had no parking. At the rate you are paying for the room having to pay additional for Wi-fi service was disappointing to me
Location, staff, things to do
Price of everything.
I liked the room very much, maids were friendly and helpful. The staff everywhere was personable and friendly. Some of the activities were close by, the river pool and lazy river. There were some good restaurants close by- Sea Grapes and Chop Stix.
It was a long walk to many things, example: the dolphin interaction, the water park, casino and some restaurants. The Royal Tower and Mandara Spa was a far walk.
My granddaughter was entranced by the Speedway - wish we had known in advance and brought a remote control car with us. We loved the lagoon pool. Outdoor landscaping was lovely and it was fun to watch the turtles and sharks.
We had a room with a "terrace" view which turned out to be parking lot rooftops. Awful. Not enough choices nearby for reasonably priced food. How about some time with just adults in the pool - I always felt like I was about to be hit by something flying through the air. As compensation, there might have been a time for kids games in the pool.
The sharks aquarium with the water slides submerged in it was amazing!
Food and drinks are so expensive!!! Also, the least thing they could offer was free wifi.
The layout of the hotel, natural ponds with fishes/ animals, activities for kids.
Very very expensive and nothing included, not even a simple breakfast or not even the use of basic facilities like the gym! they charge extra for everything, and even take 40 dollars per day gratuity and cleaning fee which is unheard of. Restaurants, activities etc everything is super expensive. A bottle of 1L water is 8 dollars whereas a convenience store 5 min walk is only 2.25$ for a gallon! So the prices are outrageous, service is poor, very bad value for the money spent.
Having to Leave
Our room at the Beach Tower was lovely. It's one of the older hotels, but you wouldn't know it. The whole resort is very clean and well maintained. Staff is very professional.
Although there are lots of restaurants, they take turns closing during the week. On any night, one or more are closed, causing long waits and crowds in other restaurants. For a resort this size all the restaurants should be open 7 days a week. To my knowledge restaurants in Nassau are open 7 days a week. Yes, reservations are encouraged, but I don't want know if I'm going to be hungry at that time. There are no schedules on vacation.
Restaurants, the landscape, beach
Old building, no value for money, waited 40 minutes for a pair of slippers and a hour for the maintenance to come and fix our doors battery. The fire alarm started ringing in the morning and woke us up for no reason (it was broke and stoped after 30 min). Service for very slow and everything were expensive.
the bed was comfortable; water slides were fantastic
Hallway was disgusting with ceiling work going on thruout our stay. Dust and pieces of plaster were all over the floor. As I had assumed, everything was a charge; they took a 150.00 per night advance on my credit card on top of what I paid booking.com. If you want a more reasonable stay on Paradise Island, look at other hotels. Everything was expensive. I was prepared so it didnt make a huge difference to me, but for other families traveling with young kids, I can imagine going broke at this resort.
It was okay accomadations
Way too expensive for what you get. Paying for maid service and utilities by the number of people in the room is crazy.
The water park is great.
I booked a room with Scenic views in Beach Tower Atlantis and was placed in Coral Atlantis with a view to a rooftop 4th floor. When I asked to change it to the one I booked, the receptionist didn't even check and just told me right away that she can't because they already decided to put me in that floor, in that side of the corridor. It felt bad. The staff were not helpful at all and I alwaysfelt like they were tired of tourists asking them questions. I stayed in 4 other hotels in Bahamas on this trip and none were so rude and unhelpful.
Staff at reception very kind and able to give strong support in case of need Amazing panorama view Impressive buffet at the restaurant with excellent food quality
Sometimes arrogant reaction of waiters at the restaurant High restaurant price Television not working
waterpark and underground Aquarians were fantastic
too expensive for a family to eat meals especially when children do not eat much
Amenities were great. Moved to Coral Tower from Beach Tower due to renovations. There were reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Loved the river raft (free) and all the fish etc. Service was friendly and prompt.
A lot of walking to anywhere. Food at pool bar was minimal selection (could be healthier!) Cost and availability of internet, spotty, plus wait for computer access. No easy access to beach/ocean.Would like some organized activities (eg pool fun). Shopping expensive.
