    Nothing

Well, our stay was very short lived! The towels had hair in them as well as the sheets. It was pretty nasty! We also had to use a plunger to try to unclog the shower that would not drain. I ordered a very expensive mix drink that tasted like grenadine only! I am not one to complain but it was a very underwhelming experience! Would not recommend it to anyone!

It's away from the crowds. The food is "local" and good! The bar is small but effective and since it's the only one in the area you get to meet some cool neighbors. The rooms are spacious. Since you're far from Nassau, you pretty much have the beach to yourself! The wifi will barely work in your room, and that's a good thing. Stop playing on your computer and go enjoy life!

The menu from the associated restaurant is a bit small.

    Absolutely nothing.

Do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances. I can not describe how bad it was. I do not think words can explain. Fortunately we only stayed there for one night as a stop over before flying to another island. It is the pits. It is dirty and filthy. The carpet felt like it had not been hoovered for years. The bed linen was grimy and not clean, hairs were present and the pillow poking from its cover was black. I could go on and on. I am not one to write reviews but thought that it was necessary to let others thinking of booking this hotel NOT TO DO SO.

I love how reserved it was away from all the crowds. It's a very nice relaxing place somewhere you can just getaway. The staff were helpful. Even rented a car $60 a day. I enjoyed my stay

Generally, the location was great. The little, almost private, beach was very nice. The staff were mostly courteous and did what was asked of them if it was possible with the badly maintained equipment available.

Before I booked I was told the Coral Harbour Beach House & Villas, Nassau, was rather basic. It did have some good reviews. Why? It did not deserve them and I was foolish enough not to keep reading till I came to a more honest review (just seen) that gave it one blob. I was told also that the hotel we stayed at in Barbados last year was basic too. There was no comparison. The Coral Harbour Beach House & Villas was much, much more basic. The decor was abysmal with patches of missing paint, weeping knots in the planking and cracked tiles in the kitchenette. The cupboard doors in the kitchen were at various angles none of which was straight. The plumbing was somewhat dicey (the kitchen tap was loose and the lever broken so that it was a two handed job to operate it). The water was switched off three times in the 8 nights we were there, once when I had just soaped myself in the shower. The work top for the inset basin in the bathroom had been fitted the wrong way round so the basin was much too far back, making it difficult to use. The drain outlet in the shower was very basic, being just a piece of perforated metal cemented over the hole. The toilet roll holder was broken. The electrics were dangerous and generally inadequate. There was no main light to the room and no switch by the door to any light and when I complained about the non functioning bedside light on one side of the bed an extension lead was produced from which the light worked intermittently depending on the position of the plug in the socket. Both bedside lamp shades fell off if touched. The fire extinguisher was fitted in a broken holder and there was a redundant holder in the kitchen area that had not been removed. In fact there were several indeterminate pieces of redundant metal work screwed to walls all over the place.

Pretty, quiet ocean-front location well away from the busy Nassau area. Nice outside bar. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wi-fi did not work in room, and was unreliable elsewhere though we could usually get connected from the courtyard. Not a good choice if you don't have a car; the nearest bus stop is a couple of miles away. (We ended up renting a car, which we didn't plan on).

I liked that the staff were attentive.

We were not given the rooms we booked, instead we were taken to another hotel with thin walls, that was dirty and had had not been cleaned. It was upsetting that we were given no notification about this change.

Small laid-back hottel with only 6 or 8 rooms, located by a nice quiet beach. Rooms are spaious and confortable with a balcony.

The food served at the only bar/restaurant is ok, but I have been disappointed by the seafood served. The atmosphere is local and reggae. Hotel quite isolated from shops.

The staff were very polite and courteous, they are very helpful. That's is all I will say.

This hotel has false advertisement, the picture see online is nothing like the way it really looks, mosquitos in the bedroom, the bathroom was tiny you can't really turn around in it, for the price they charge I feel like I was cheated.

Nice little resort, far from the crowd, close to the airport, very friendly bahamian personnal, relaxing hamacs under the trees for reading and terrasse, not for poeple looking for perfection who are then better off in Paradise island or at the Sheraton. Useful to rent a car to explore the island and beaches and save in taxi: Left driving, be cautious.

I've stayed in some decrepit hotels over the years, but, considering this was $132/night, this might take the cake. It really deserved a 0-star rating, but, unfortunately, I’m limited to giving it a generous star. It really is in the middle of nowhere, but not in a good way. I’d describe it’s location as the epicenter of a neighborhood dedicated to misfit toys – unfinished luxury developments, run-down group housing, and neglected landscapes. It’s a solid 20 minute walk to the nearest convenience store and a 20-25 minute drive due south of the airport. My 7-month pregnant wife and I got out of the cab and attempted to check in, but found the front desk unattended. After several minutes of waiting idly, the front desk attendant/bar tender saw us and said she’d be with us “in a minute.” She went back to her cell phone to resume texting and continued to ignore my wife and I for 10 more minutes. She eventually came over to the front desk, and, after another 10 minutes of texting, started the check-in process. Red lights were beginning to go off in our minds. This girl showed us our room, which was up a somewhat hidden passageway of narrow, unventilated steps that led to an unnumbered door. It was shockingly hot as we stepped in, probably somewhere in the 105-110 degree range. An odor of unknown putrefaction hung in the stale air. The in-room A/C unit read 17 degrees Celsius so we figured it had just been turned on. That was around 3pm. By 10pm, it was still 85 degrees or so. As you can see from the pictures, the place hadn’t been renovated since it was built in the 1970s. A tourist map attached to the entranceway with packing tape, really? The whole room was dirty. Rust, dirt, grime, you name it. What about the promised kitchenette? Oh, I guess that meant an unplugged refrigerator with some tile work in the general vicinity. We headed outside for a bit to check out the fabled beach and get away from the heat, meaning the heat in our room.

tranquility, simplicity, close to the beach. I was there 3 days and had the beach all to myself. the staff were friendly and very helpful. I was able to leave windows open and allow the ocean breeze to comfort me.did not need air-conditioning.
