Everything was good was an enjoyable stay
The only thing i think they need to improve on is having microwave in room and fridge its a must.
Pool area and swim up bar . Great beach .
Repair work or some noise like a jackhammer throughout my stay .
Leaving was the best part
Beach, water, location
Part of the staff, part of the guests, hotel procedures for all inclusive guests, hotel prices if you don’t have all inclusive plan
Good location, great daquari bar across street
Needs renovations Food is expensive for what you get
Nice beach, clean waters
Check in time: very late Check out time: very early Staff: very rude, we had to use the hotel's phone to make an urgent call, to be charged on a pre-paid phone card.A bellboy named Anthony refused to allow us to use the phone by replying " I don't care".!! No wifi available in the room Broken telephone set, reluctance to fix it Mosquitos everywhere
This hotel had great location. I was able to get around on 10 bus for about $1.25. There was a burger King local and liquor store. The was a Diaquari bar across the street. I booked this for $500 for a three day weekend. They had scuba gear and kayaks for free.
Didn't like the mattresses and the expensive food. Food was not good for valus.
Staff was friendly Restaurant prices were not too awful Lots of swimming pools This has the potential to be a really nice facility. The design and location are attractive Free parking (I think, at least I didn't get towed!) In our party of 4, we had to stay at different hotels (2 each) and nobody hassled the other two when they spent the day with us in the Melia facilities. I was worried about this, but it was not a problem. WiFi worked ok for me, and they had an ethernet cable in the room. There was a decent view of the pool area, some of the coastline, and Atlantis off in the distance. There is a grocery store in walking distance
1.5 hour wait in line to check in 13.5 minutes to process a couple for check in (yes, I timed it). I emailed the hotel several days before our stay, to 2 separate addresses given on their website, and never got any response whatsoever. The employees are friendly, but there are clearly serious systemic problems with the management and operations of this facility. A lot of the problems are inexcusable. "Resort Fee"of $200--just be honest and upfront and include it with the quoted and booked price. I avoid hotels with resort fees when possible. The bathtub drain was broken Seriously Peeling paint in the bathroom Swimming pools were dirty, full of floating debris The room phone cut off for periods, losing power There was a short electricity blackout during our stay Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes they left bottled water, other times they didn't. Sometimes they left 4 coffee creamers, other times they left one. I had to go to the front desk (a LONG hike) to get the water they should have left because they claimed they had nobody to bring it to me (lame excuse). I had to leave a note for housekeeping because they only left 1 set of washcloths and hand towels the first night, even though we were booked for two. While wifi worked ok for me, my date's smartphone could not connect at all, anywhere in the hotel, but if I used my phone or laptop to set up an access point, she was able to, so this tells me there is something odd about the configuration of the hotel's wifi.
Proximity to beach
Everything Staff were so rude seems like they didn't want to be there. I'd booked a deluxe room poolside when I checked in the receptionist gave me a room on the 7th floor onlooking construction. Only when I complained did they change the room. They include a service charge on everything yet the service is horrific. There's no fridge in the room and this is meant to be a 4 star hotel. Also cheeky adding a $40 park fees on top. At the most this a 3star hotel with great location
Staff was courteous
Room wasn't fancy like I expected for a resort. Highly disappointed. The bathroom was definitely not up to standard. There were no floor mat in there, tub drain was slow, toilet got clogged and there were no towels and washcloths.
Good location right on the beach Great view of the ocean
Hotel dated, construction whilst we were there without prior notification Poor service by staff (had to ask 4 out of 9 days for towels), bar staff extremely slow Poor Wifi connection
The beach, pool and location in the suburbs.
The staff was horrible! The front desk, bartenders at the pool, housekeeper and even the towel ladies seemed to be annoyed by guests. I would not pay a penny to stay here again.
Wifi and house keeping kept the room nice and clean
Staff was rude and you could tell they did not want to accomidate. Alot of mosquitos
I stayed at the hotel with friends for a girls trip. The beach and water in front of the hotel is beautiful and it is large enough that it never felt crowded. The pools were nice also. The rooms were clean and adequately equipped and were a good value for the price.
It would be very beneficial for the hotel to invest in more umbrellas for the beach and pool area as there are very few. A good number of hotel employees didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area or even about opening/closing times of the hotels facilities. We decided against the all-inclusive rate and are glad we did as we ate the majority of our meals off the hotel grounds due to the limited choices.
This resort was pretty good the best part about it were the housekeeping staff and the bell boys they were so polite . I also loved that there was a Starbucks in our lobby that had to be the highlight of my whole stay . Also the food was delicious and the fact that I could've went to the pool at 4 A.M was also priceless .. Really enjoyed my stay
I didn't like that my last day here they were doing a renovation without a warning . It really wasn't a big deal at all though I just was caught off guard by that
The property it's self was wonderful. The price was very fair. The beach and water was beautiful.
The staff is very slow and non responsive to your needs. It took an average of 12 minutes to get a drink, from the bar. They would only take one order at a time and not multiple. The outdoor bar by the pool closed around 10pm. Just very unhappy with the service
location: was great, all the staff was nice, nice beach out back, room was clean
Drink and food prices are ridiculous, if we had kids we would have had to sell our soul to afford to eat there! ... wifi only available in lobby... seems like an attempt to draw guests into lobby/bar area to order more $10 Coffee and or another $19 cheeseburger
The beach was amazing
The water in bathroom smelled like sewer water
Better wifi service
Underground floor is no good
Décor Comfortable Beds Ocean View The identification tags
Wifi connection was poor. Hallway was humid.
We loved the location, friendly staff, professional service and lovely scenery
My stay was too short
The hidden costs not obvious when booking was not a good surprise.
Location is excellent Available fresh beach towels whenever you want
Long lines for check in and check out. Terrible wifi in the bedroom. Bedroom not very clean Smal room and beds for 3 persons No mini-bar in the bed room Shortage of hand and face towels Few parasols in the beach
No WIFI in the hotel rooms
