Closeness to the beach.
No dam wifi!
The bellmen staff were very courteous
Long check in lines
The beautiful view of the pool & beach .
No wifi in the rooms .
The property and food. The property is very clean and the entertainment was fun. Great buffet selection.
The room was not ready at time of check in. The front desk staff could be alot more friendly. The rooms could use some work.
No wifi in the rooms Cleaning maids shouting among them in the halls The cleaning of the bathrooms in the lobby is terrible Did not appear as a guest of the hotel not being the main account and the employee laughed in my
Location is the best, nice people and overall nice hotel with good accommodations.
Wifi service is bad, please work on getting wifi installed everywhere instead of only lobby.
Large pool area Variety of pools Reasonable rate Nice beach out front Clean
Poor Wifi Room had no pool view Was some distance to travel to town
Bad WiFi. Nothing going on at night
The room was styled extremely nice much better than most hotels in the area. Then grounds and pool areas were landscaped beautifully and maintained well.
If there had been notice of the buffet by the pool, we wopuld have liked to take part. Unfortunately we did not know of this until we happened to walk around in the evening just as everything was finishing up to close.
I would definitely recommend the nassau Melia property. The resort was beautiful, great beach! Great spot for anybtype of traveler.
The wifi was not available in rooms. It was however available in all public areas free of charge.
The Cable Beach is very beautiful with nice facilities. The room is very clean and comfortable. The access to the city center is easy with the public buses.
When we checked-in, we were not told about the facilities that we could have access for free, since almost everything else was paid at the hotel. There was a Resort fee to use the beach and the outside facilities of the hotel, and we were not informed about it in the check in, the hotel just gave us a receipt in the check out with that fee. The meals were too expensive if you wanted to eat at the hotel.
The rooms were clean. Sleep was comfortable.
There was no wifi in the rooms. Take too long to bring towels. Check in process is too long
Beautiful surroundings, excellent service, friendly helpful staff. All of the rooms had a view of the pools and the beach. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I absolutely loved the comfortable bed. Most impressive was the honesty of the staff. I had left my iPod on the bed when we checked out and when I called back, the maid had secured it and turned it in to lost and found. Not one thing was missing from the case.
Free wifi was only in the foyer area.
Everything was good was an enjoyable stay
The only thing i think they need to improve on is having microwave in room and fridge its a must.
Pool area and swim up bar . Great beach .
Repair work or some noise like a jackhammer throughout my stay .
- hotel beach was nice - towel service - additional free activities (snorkling, ...) - shops inside the resort - location was nice, not to busy area, some shops and restaurants around, bus to downtown Nassau - room was ready at 2pm (officiall check-in 4pm) - nice staff
- room was spacious, but furniture a bit run down - dinner options were rather limited ... if you decide against all inclusive, you pay 33$ for buffet or can go to the pricey italian restaurant - the waiting time for check-in/out is too long ... with check-in we were unlucky and arrived shortly after a bigger group; waited for over half an hour - towels seem somehow limited, it was always a surprise how many fresh ones we got - the ladies from housekeeping were very nice and surely had a lot of rooms to clean, but it seemed a little bit unorganised ... as our baby was often naping during the morning, we put out the "Do not disturb"-sign, just to get a call or a knock on the door if we want the room cleaned - there is construction going on in the resort, so sometimes it was quite noisy
Leaving was the best part
Beach, water, location
Part of the staff, part of the guests, hotel procedures for all inclusive guests, hotel prices if you don’t have all inclusive plan
Good location, great daquari bar across street
Needs renovations Food is expensive for what you get
Nice beach, clean waters
Check in time: very late Check out time: very early Staff: very rude, we had to use the hotel's phone to make an urgent call, to be charged on a pre-paid phone card.A bellboy named Anthony refused to allow us to use the phone by replying " I don't care".!! No wifi available in the room Broken telephone set, reluctance to fix it Mosquitos everywhere
This hotel had great location. I was able to get around on 10 bus for about $1.25. There was a burger King local and liquor store. The was a Diaquari bar across the street. I booked this for $500 for a three day weekend. They had scuba gear and kayaks for free.
Didn't like the mattresses and the expensive food. Food was not good for valus.
Staff was friendly Restaurant prices were not too awful Lots of swimming pools This has the potential to be a really nice facility. The design and location are attractive Free parking (I think, at least I didn't get towed!) In our party of 4, we had to stay at different hotels (2 each) and nobody hassled the other two when they spent the day with us in the Melia facilities. I was worried about this, but it was not a problem. WiFi worked ok for me, and they had an ethernet cable in the room. There was a decent view of the pool area, some of the coastline, and Atlantis off in the distance. There is a grocery store in walking distance
1.5 hour wait in line to check in 13.5 minutes to process a couple for check in (yes, I timed it). I emailed the hotel several days before our stay, to 2 separate addresses given on their website, and never got any response whatsoever. The employees are friendly, but there are clearly serious systemic problems with the management and operations of this facility. A lot of the problems are inexcusable. "Resort Fee"of $200--just be honest and upfront and include it with the quoted and booked price. I avoid hotels with resort fees when possible. The bathtub drain was broken Seriously Peeling paint in the bathroom Swimming pools were dirty, full of floating debris The room phone cut off for periods, losing power There was a short electricity blackout during our stay Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes they left bottled water, other times they didn't. Sometimes they left 4 coffee creamers, other times they left one. I had to go to the front desk (a LONG hike) to get the water they should have left because they claimed they had nobody to bring it to me (lame excuse). I had to leave a note for housekeeping because they only left 1 set of washcloths and hand towels the first night, even though we were booked for two. While wifi worked ok for me, my date's smartphone could not connect at all, anywhere in the hotel, but if I used my phone or laptop to set up an access point, she was able to, so this tells me there is something odd about the configuration of the hotel's wifi.
Proximity to beach
Everything Staff were so rude seems like they didn't want to be there. I'd booked a deluxe room poolside when I checked in the receptionist gave me a room on the 7th floor onlooking construction. Only when I complained did they change the room. They include a service charge on everything yet the service is horrific. There's no fridge in the room and this is meant to be a 4 star hotel. Also cheeky adding a $40 park fees on top. At the most this a 3star hotel with great location
