    The opulence the views

Pricing ,limited access tv did not work was told I get a credit of 243.89 upon check out only 75.00 credit given. If I had not reviewed my bill all the free items were not subtracted. I had to bring this to the attention of the clerk.

Wonderful vacation for our young children . Lots to do for all ages .

Some pools were over crowded with other vacationers from cruises. Also prices were inflated . Expect 40% higher than what you would pay in the states .

    Pool, lazy river, ocean access

Royal Towers looked dirty and aged. The water features for the salt water exhibits all grown over with algae and need cleaned badly. Very dissapointed that such a place of beauty needed so much cleaning.

    Physically Beautiful Resort

Too Crowded with Cruise Ship tours and guests. Long lines to get ID bands to move throughout the property and police like check points requiring ID to pass

Beautiful view from room. The surrounding property is very nice except for gasoline golf carts that are all oever and that stink. Also, the golf cart drivers don't worry much about people walking. They should be on a different path.

No nice ocean beach, the price is not the price, too many add ons to room price, furniture needs updating. The room is a *** room in a ***** location.

All the added expenses not advised when booking. You MUST pay $6 PER PERSON to have room cleaned + $31.80 for the use of water, electricity, air conditioning, basically everything in the room. Plus visitors tax. Plus 15% tax on every single bill.after all that you don't have much money left from holiday fund. Restaurants ALL MUST be booked to ensure dinner, no nice places for coffee sandwich or lunch.

Staff was amazing and so friendly! Food was great too - but pricey. Landscaping beautiful!

Think the hotel should appoint certain staff to pick up towels and garbage around the property. Such a beautiful property - clutter takes away from it. Mattress needs to be flipped or something -- maybe too old, not sure.

Many family options for entertainment. Bellmen & housekeeping were very responsive and friendly. Teens really liked Club Rush experience and open basketball courts. Even though we spent a lot if family time together, these options allowed us to separate as desired.

Altantis is wearing and it shows. Aquariums were cloudy and the observation tunnels (walking & water park) were coated with algae. The Mall of America in Minnesota has a more impressive aquarium in this aspect. The staff is just going through the motions 95% of the time. It may be the 15% automatic gratuity or just poor management. This is very apparent as soon as you venture off the property and experience true Bahamian warmth and appreciation for visitors! Atlantis is used to being "the property" on the island but competition is coming back to Cable Beach! Beware! If you are from any civilized city you'll be overwhelmed by the 1970's "smoking permitted everywhere" policy! Sure ruins the beach if you happen to be down wind from a bunch of too-young-too-know-better 20 something party girls from Philly. Also, even though Altantis places a representative at every conceivable entrance to the property to turn-back "free loaders" , beach "vendors" have seemingly unlimited access and you'll be approached every 10 minutes for booze cruises, waverunners rental, shirts, flutes, coconut drinks etc. (all non-Atlantis sanctioned). Finally, anyone familiar with these types of properties expects to pay a resort "penalty"...the $16 hamburger, the $5 Gatorade, but Atlantis just reminds you constantly that you are getting paying excessively for everything all the time.

Area is beautiful and well maintained, lots of places to lounge in the sun (pools and beach area), staff is great and manages well despite the pressures of long line ups and impatient demanding tourists.

Prices are outrageous for everything, pools and poolside restaurants close too early, long line ups at everything (water park, restaurants), not enough dining options (especially inexpensive ones) to accommodate the number of People staying at the resort.

Location is awesome, the hotel, the aquapark, the beaches etc. It takes you 2 or 3 days to visit the entire complex. The dream location make you forget the long list of minuses. I highly recomend you a visit, at least once. For weddings is a dream place.

The hotel rooms looks more like a 4 stars hotel (in Royal Atlantis, at least). Meal deals proposed by the hotel are extremely expensive (80/130 dolars/day/person, for breakfast and dinner) and don't worth the money. Is better to eat a la carte at a different restaurant each time. The beach is poorly cleaned and organized. The internet is extremely expensive- 19,95 dollars/day , more that 15/day, advertised on The casino is non-stop only for slots, who have a low return rate. No shuttle from airport (at 5 stars?)

This is the most amazing hotel ever! Great attention to details! A must go and must see! Unique experience with loads of staff supervising the whole territory and offering help every now and then! You will love this place, like nowhere else! My wife and I weee thrilled to be there!!! Great for kids also!!! Exotic theme park and hotel combined in one!!! Will definetly return!!!

Nothing everything was great. You are in the Carribean so a bit of moisture in the air - which you get used to very fast is normal, so dont complain! Also the taxes and charges to mantain such a place start to make sence so dont complain about that also! You will absolutely love this place!

    Good comfortable rooms

A rip off.Hotel adds charges all kinds on all services and room rates. On all food, restaurants, take-outs, bars, convenient shops they add a 15% on it. WiFi almost 20 dollar a day. Our room rate alone increased almost by half with all the additional charges you have to pay for housekeeping and other things. A take-out large pizza 18" + 6 wings almost 60 dollars!! And these are some of the cheapest things on offer!! Beaches are messy, sun beds are not arranged on the beach as you would expect but dumped and crumbed altogether on the beach. Dubai Resort is not much cheaper but service is much better and the water park much more fun! Don't bother with Paradise Island.

    The Aquariums

Rude staff including the hotel manager who were all unwilling to help with a late check in and other queries. Expensive poor Internet connection. Ridiculously overpriced and poor quality food. Nowhere to sit outside in the evenings. As a Commercial pilot of 10 years I've stayed in some great and very poor hotels but this is the first time I've been compelled to write a review as it was without doubt my worst hotel experience in my life.
