Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort  

Die Weitläufigkeit in der Hotelanlage. Der Strandabschnitt war nicht groß, aber das Meer war wunderschön. Es waren einige Shoppingmöglichkeiten gegeben.

Die Preise für das Essen, sowie für die Getränke waren imens hoch. Meines Erachtens bewusstes Ausnutzen der Gäste. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren vorhanden, allerdings nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels. Laute Musik im gesamten Poolbereich muss meines Erachtens nicht sein.

Generally staff were very friendly, but some front desk staff lazy and not accommodating in timely fashion...made to wait at counter 5-10 mins for service..too laid back for 4 star hotel chain.

Significant security gaps, allowing 24/7 access of non hotel residents into hotel hallways and hotel room areas, leading to several serious threats to my 2 daughters staying in their own room by two non resident men on more than 3 occasions over 24 hrs. Very poor /dangerous situation which I brought to Sr management attention. Also, room description on Opodo website did not match room provided..needs to be made consistent or misleading and disappointing.

Wonderful place. Good link with public bus (1.25 USD) with Airport - city center (strew market) - Fish fry Restaurant and supermarket in 10 minutes walk Good services in beach and pool

Far from Paradise Islamd and Atlantis

Check in lasted over an hour due to problems cutting room keys. Our room, and we are spg guests, had no towels in it and we waited over an hour for them to bring some. The Italian restaurant was intolerable thanks to the loud mix of their music, combined with the live lobby music. The restaurant opens at the top to the lobby and it was plain to see that the staff and guests alike were miserable. How can this be??? We were so stressed, after paying big bucks for dinner and not being able to hear one another..would never return.

Did not like getting charged an Extra $40.00 for a service cleaning charge. Felt that we were totally ripped off. Need to disclose that fact when you are making reservation. Not right!!!

Location. Beautiful resort.

Not being notified of the exorbitant hidden fees and taxes. The Sheraton penalizes their own guests for services they give to the general public for free. They charged me an additional $70 per day for these fees! This was insulting!

It was a lovely experience and I recommend the stay at the Sheraton to anyone. The staff upgraded our room. I am certainly coming back. It was clean, safe and value for money. Staff were helpful and always cheery. Atmosphere of hotel was always good.

The breakfast was not complimentary and that wasn't helpful. Maybe small touches like a minibar,especially water in the room would be nice and normal tea and snacks too. As not all people like coffee. No fridge in room to cool down drinks. Plus hotel shops were closed at late hours

Upon arrival, they said they didn't have my reservation. However, there was no problem with availability and, since I had a copy of my reservation they honored the rate. Still, it makes me wonder, how reliable is the booking. What if there had been no room?

- Bed table light bulb not working - mildew above shower - safe battery out twice in 3 days.Never came to change it the second time - no housekeeping if they saw the sign do not disturb. They do not come back later Definitively a not well maintained and managed hotel

Some of the staff (unfriendly), some of the facilities (old/run down), pool lights not on at night (what they were designed for), restaurants/dining not open late enough and too few dining options. Terrible WiFi. Huge cockroach in my room. Whirlpool was filthy.

Updated bathroom, nice decor, beach private, plenty of beach chairs, veggie burger delicious, easy access to local bus, nice walking/running route from hotel along street.

Bed too soft, some beach and pool chairs stained.

It has great beach location.

Breakfest is one of the worst I every had in hotel. It is almost imposible to get noraml food on the teritory. Rooms are not clean. Public bathrooms were very derty. In general I was suprised it had Sheraton brand.

The beach was fantastic and great swimming pools. Breakfasts were excellent too.

Internet slow or non existent in the room. No WiFi throughout the hotel. Some tidying up in the rooms though very comfortable. As the tap water is not drinkable, at least 2 water bottles should be supplied in the rooms for free. The resort fee of $40/day is not explained at check in and adds up to an big expense on a 5 day stay. Paid for the Hobi-cat yacht which should have been free from what is implied on the website!

It was an excellent surprise after reading all the negatives comments about the hotel here. The room was big and the standard room was close to the beach and the pool. It was fantastic for us! The staff in the front desk is very friendly. Unfortunately , the room service wasn't the best. They forgot to leave towels in the room twice and the housekeepers weren't so friendly. And they could warn us about the taxes - there are few taxes that increase your final bill. Don't expect to pay only the price you booked for. It can increase 30% with taxes and fees. There is a facilities fee about 40 usd a day that you have to pay , even you don't go to the pool or fitness center. The pillows were too soft for me and the amenities weren't so good. Internet wireless doesn't exist in the rooms, just with cables. It means you need to go with your smarthphone or tablet to the lobby. At least it's free. In general I would come back to stay there and recommend you if you have found a price that matches in your budget. It has a wonderful beach.

Maid service was sketchy, we never had enough towels.

The spacious beach facilities and the family atmosphere

On the check in day we had to wait until 18:30 to have our rooms ready and we were traveling from europe with children . The rooms did not have towels and we have to ask for towels everyday even after they made the rooms. The management was comprehensive and gave credit towards the first night stay.

Watermain had been broken no water in the hotel and no compensation for the time I was there on business no shower no toilets due to no water

Eveything, expensiveness

Very friendly people. They help us with our wedding and they went that extra mile for us. We are grateful to have been there.

No internet in the rooms. Wow that was a very journey going to the lobby. We are living in a communicated world

Location is great!

Generally speaking you should not expect Sheraton's quality from this hotel! That was my personal mistake to go after Sheraton name in order to be sure that everything will be ok with service!
