Incredible. We loved everything. The staff is so helpful and nice. The place is a dream. Not to many people. The 2 private beaches are very good and they have a lot of things free for you to do on the beach.

    Absolutely nothing.

Beaches and grounds were immaculate. Without a doubt the nicest place on the island. The rooms were new, modern and relaxing.

Food choices were slim and extremely expensive. No meal option either. Drinks were $15.00 and up. The food was average and for a $100 lunch, you would expect to get more. Service around the place was average. Definitely not One & Only quality but not what you get in Jamaica either. If you have a late check out, beware. There is literally no place to change but the restaurant bathroom.

The physical setting is very beautiful, and the public amenities, such as the hammocks scattered around the property and especially the Sunset Bar, were terrific.

The room we were in was very small and poorly designed - very overpriced in my view. The bed was too low to the floor, and the wooden platform on which the mattress sat was perilous! There were no screened windows in the room, and the white curtains were awkward to manipulate. Also, the food in the dining room, although tasty, was overpriced.

Loved everything! Wonderful decor. The attention to detail was superb! I felt pampered. Very relaxing.

I would change only one thing. The closet needed shelves or drawers. There really was no where to put my clothes, since not everything could be hung.

    View is spectacular, friendly staff.

Didn't care for the lack of privacy in room, and the outdoor lighting was on timer and the light coming into the room from small windows was a big annoying.

We rented one of the Bush rooms, which was the least expensive available. The reason I rated the facilities as "fair" is because the room did not have a dresser. It was a bit awkward to stay 5 days without drawers for our clothing. Other than that, the place was magnificent in all respects.

i love this hotel very much!!!! it's located in a very beautiful side of the island!! super love

i am real angry about the hotel that they dont follow their promise. the manager promised us that they would trun our moneys which we paid more to restaurant of the cove, and return the left money back to my card. However, the money wasn't back. Not only this, but also they recharge me for the food.

This is the most amazing hotel I have ever been at. The location is great, the staff is amazing, felt every way you go - but in a good way. The room was simple and clean. The restaurant has great food

wow... the hotel and the location is amazing.. the resort is new in the island and they are still building some more rooms.. the "twin beaches" are very nice and the hotel is just on the beach... the service at the beach is just top class, they bring you towels, drinks o whatever you need in few minutes/seconds... the room had a great bed and bathroom, everything is painted in white and with the green surroundings creates a beautiful landscape. the staff help you with renting a car because if not you can not explore the island that have much more to offer than just the Cove.. the renting cost.. 70us dollars per day for a very bad car but is worth it.. go and visit Ten Bay, Rainbow bay, lighthouse beach.. they are so amazing and better than the twin beach from the Cove (even if twin beach is great as well). The hotel has free bikes but it is not too much what you can do with them... just visiting the near (and decadent) small village that has only one interesting shop...

the restaurant... even if the location is great the restaurant is so expensive for the food you get... it is better to rent a car a go outside for dinner.. there are very good restaurants in just 10 to 15m driving.. try Rainbow in restaurant.. it is so good!!. The staff at the Cove is clearly not too experienced and therefore they do not react proactively as they should when an issue rises in such an expensive hotel. One night my AC stop working and I ask to be changed to another room, first they strive to fix it and spent the whole day on it and at the end they said it works and it didn't so I had to get mad and ask to be changed.. they did it at the end but after myself going very angry.

By far the best place to stay in Eleurthera. Unbeatable exposure and beach line. Big dollars put into revamping the grounds and coastline are paying off! Food at the in-house restaurant is excellent, best of anything we have have eaten in the Caribbean (well, maybe matched by a few places in St. Martin and St. Barts). Service is very very good, on the way to becoming excellent as post-opening kinks are being worked out. We stayed in one of their Garden View Suites - loved the room's austere, but very thoughtful interior design. Bathroom amenities and finishes, very comfy bed, Nespresso machine - it all just came together and made sense.

Need a bit more variety and rotation on the breakfast menu. Construction outside of our room was annoying, but I guess was reflected in the room rate.... I did not like the rumors of upcoming big price hikes after all the construction is done by mid fall:(

Spent 12 nights at The Cove with my dad. The people there welcomed us warmly, politely and professionally. It's on a beautiful location, two beaches (kayaking & snorkeling available) and amazing views. Food at the restaurant's very nice and the outside bar is perfect in the evening. If you're looking for a relaxing environment, somewhere where you can sit back and chill while enjoying great food and great personnel then The Cove's the right place. The hotel's only been open for 4-5 months and yet they're already doing a fantastic job - can only say that I'm looking forward to coming back at a later stage when the grill and all other additions are in place. Thumbs up to the team who put this in place.

Not a negative whatsoever but an info point for people interested: if you want to do external activities such as diving you will either need the hotel to arrange you a taxi or book a rental car.

We loved how relaxing the resort is and how friendly and accommodating the staff is. We felt pampered with having towels, drinks, and even home made mango Popsicles brought to us on the beach. Even when the resort seemed to have more guests we often had the beach to ourselves. The grounds are meticulously maintained and just gorgeous, even at night with the lights and fire pit.

If you don't have a car you are limited to the one restaurant at the resort for all meals, although while we were there they were building a new bar and grill which will offer alternatives. The food was good and price reasonable, but drink prices are high. A soda or bottle of water is $5 and mixed or frozen drinks run $12-$16 each plus the automatically added gratuity of 18%. Fortunately we had rented a car so we ventured out and found a store in town to purchase soda, beer, and wine to keep in our room.
