The receptionist was not smiling, not helpful, was talking on the phone for 10 mins in front of me; the view was not nice and they didnt change the room on request; they told us the a/c was not working ; there was no soap or anything but gel/shampoo in the bathroom which was of cheap quality and dries your skin; payment - only local currency accepted; if u wanna pay half by card half by cash - they will gladly say no. There is wifi, good luck with catching it. The high ceiling is nice though
prepayment up front. the hot water shower issues
Poor value! A couple of days later stayed in same town, similar location, at a far better hotel for 60% if cost. Pretends to be 4* boutique, in reality 3* fairly basic. Disappointed.
They were able to provide a official confirmation of my reservation for my visa application., The hotel is walking distance from many of Minsk attractions
Wifi didn't work Breakfast was no spectacular
Excellent location, pretty friendly staff, bearable breakfast buffet.
For this price they could have put at least a couple of cotton buds in the bathroom...
pretty bare bones - not even tissues provided
Celan room, good breakfast, adequate reception service. Perfect interior of the rooms.
There is no shampoo (or shower gel) in bathroom, only liquid soap in a dispenser. Not good sound isolation between rooms and corridor.
Excellent friendly staff at reception was very helpful in city directions. Rooms are very comfortable, I even took photos of the bathroom tile, it was very beautiful :)
We celebrated New Year in this hotel and everything was perfect until we asked to bring 2 empty glasses to our room. We got answer that it just can not be done and that's all. Maybe this happened due to New Year night rush, but unfortunately we can not speak about any good room service in this case :(
Breakfast was not as good as previous time
Good location and breakfast. And very good view and furniture in the room.
Reception spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (decent window between 7am and 10am too) Room was very comfortable. Location is excellent, extremely central. Staff were good in producing the invitation letter for our visas.
Suspect we paid a Westerners rate (c.$200 per night for a twin room)
location is perfect
Location. Check-in staff. Quiet at night.
After I made my confirmed hotel room reservation, the hotel never replied to my request for Letter of Invitation, to get visa. After 5 emails to hotel, I wrote the manager, Mr.Nikolay P. Slizky, and he did not reply. Finally, I had to pressure Booking.com to follow up - horrible hotel management. Hotels should reply to guest inquiries. Even though I booked a double, not twin, the room had 2 single beds pushed together, sold online as a double...impossible to sleep in the middle - the 2 small mattresses kept splitting apart. Each bed was made up separately using single size sheets / blankets etc. No in-room mini bar, drinks, snacks, etc. No personal bathroom amenities. Room was cold at night - no extra blankets in room, and temperature thermostat did not function. Breakfast was not good, very limited selection, hot food was cold, poorly cooked, nothing refilled. Check-out staff very indifferent, asked "how was my stay", I mentioned a few things, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "see you again"! This was my 5th visit (28 days overall in Minsk) Overall, incredibly over-priced for what you get, as is all hotels and apartments in Minsk. They cater primarily to the Ukraine and Russian guests who come to the casinos. (No gambling in Russia or Ukraine) Solo business travellers like me, they could less about. I get it.
Hotel is very nicely located in the centre of the city, staff is friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay there.
Breakfasts Noise in the restaurant in the evenings "Posh" interier
breakfast choice was very poor, and cold. Some staff was friendly, others not.
The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the classic style earns more than 3 stars. Good location, in the middle of the centre. Normal breakfast, but a lot of choice. Wake up call perfect on time.
No American Express accepted. The bottles of water were already opened. When we asked for closed bottle, they said that it was impossible (because people cannot open it without a knive). This was a little bit strange, because the bottles in the rooms (with compliments of the hotel on the first day) were the same and it was easy to open them. The next day we received closed bottles and it was not a problem to open the bottles... (strange!). If you book a taxi from Airport International to hotel (and back) there is a fixed price (210.000 roebels = 27 euro). The taxi driver asked 30 euro's.. So, be careful! If you book a taxi by booking.com for a taxi transfer, remind that you not pay the hotel but the taxi driver. If you ask for a wake up call at the reception make sure that you have the right day/time. We've had a misunderstood (English of the receptionists is not so good).
Location, very cean and safe
Expensive, no assistance for invitation letter for visa
The location is great, close to the main stret, there are many good cafes and restaurants nearby. Stuss is very helful and friendly. The room is clean and rather spacious.
