Very good location, kind personnel, clean rooms.
The wi-fi system with teleocm cards is a bit complicated
Friendly staff Good breakfast
The room price was quit high
The service attendant on my floor was very helpful.
Breakfast is very poor if you do not appreciate hot food or meat.
Very close to city center. Any interesting place can be reached by walking. Excellent window view. Staff is very pleasant.
Breakfast buffet was good, location is great for walks into the City
not enough rooms with doublebed, just 2 single beds in the room...
Friendly staff welcome you at the reception. They are willing to help. The property is not only centrally located but serves a landmark in the area so one can't miss it. The breakfast included in the price is alright - nothing special about the food and hot and cold drinks at breakfast. The room includes the minimum one needs including a hair-drier and basic toiletries. On top of that it is clean.
The rooms are overpriced once you compare the offer and the amount the hotel charges you. Everything is basic. The walls are thin and no soundproof which can cause you some trouble at night when drunk neighbouring guests come back home after a boozing night out and you will have to listen to their quarrels or just loud talks, screams, laughs and bangs against the common wall. The key to the door is a very old-fashioned one, at least half a pound in weight, 3' long and 1' wide. It can easily stuck in your pocket but it can easily fall out of there.
Location, city view, room
No kettle or coffee facilities in the room Poor toiletries, no towels changing Bar interior is old-fashioned and comfortless
Not a lot really. I suppose it was clean. The breakfast porridge was excellent.
Old and tired decor. Tacky gloomy and deserted bar. Gloomy throughout the hotel; they kept all the lights off or very low. Only one coffee machine for a hotel with 239 bedrooms for goodness sake... There was constantly a queue. Small rooms. Location not bad but on a very busy road. Cooked food at breakfast looked revolting - nobody was eating it. The piece de resistance though was the bill. They refused point blank to let me look at it until it was paid. "It's not possible". Then when I had paid it, they had billed me for 2 or three extra items which I did not have. I don't know what they were because it's all in Cyrillic/Russian... I know they are wrong because several colleagues there were not billed for these items. The accommodation and the minibar were correct. Don't stay here; go to the Victoria or the Belarus which are better.
The room was quite well furnished, and clean.
The breakfast room is unattractive. No window, ugly neon light. If you like continental breakfast, you will be disappointed. The English breakfast was not appetizing. One morning the juices were and stayed empty, noone cared. No hot chocolate, no caffeine-free coffee. No fresh bread.
good location, reasonable price
I arrived by flight 1 hour before the check-in normal time. The room was available, but they asked for an additional payment !!!! Disgusting....I never had such a request in more than 40 year of trips in all continents.
Everything, including the price
no teeth pack if you forgot yours, even for money...
modernized soviet style hotel - casino and bowling inside - 3 min to metro
breakfast poor, sovier style furnuture
Nice nostalgic design, Cleanness, Well located
No wifi in rooms, Poor quality and few shampoo in shower, Soviet food
not clean and no safe no electronic lock for door and no wifi tooo poor
Location was good near the metro. Overall the hotel did the job well in bit of a soviet style.
Ease of access Free Wi-Fi On-site bowling alley Cheap drinks and food
No atmosphere in restaurant Staff can be very surly
Love this hotel, has everything you need including a club, cafe, casino etc. Would highly recommend it as well as Minsk which is a friendly city.
Old Soviet style hotel. Staff were generally unfriendly.. Breakfast was bad.. I observed that some street prostitutes (waiting in front of the hotel) work with reception night staff in coordination...
Very nice and helpful staff. Very good with a special room for ironing, it was very helpful for me.
The shower cabin was too small for my size.
Good localisation & a kind of vintage atmosphere...
room a bit small in size...
Great location (next to the lake and the old town is in a walking distance), quiet and spacious room, clean and warm shower, free and fast enough Wi-Fi.
Long breakfast queues, Soviet style furniture and atmosphere (although that might be a positive thing if you are looking for a unique experience), late check-in.
