Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel  

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Appearance of hotel was very good it was well maintained.

While the staff did appear to do their best. I booked a middle of the road room over the internet before arriving but upon arrival was told a room was not assigned and I was offered a more expensive room without being told of the increase in price. I assumed my price remained the same and I was not told it was an upgrade. Mosquitos in the room were bothersome all night. I had to cover my head with a pillow. I don't know if it was just the season but I would have expected this in a lower class hotel or even in a lower priced room. Doubt that we will return to this hotel although we do expect to return to Belize many times in the future. Your loss.

I kike the treatment of my booking to allow to spend the whole weekend. The receptionist Yvett was very nice. He is in the rigth place.

Located on external airport edge of Belize City, a notoriously violent and dangerous city, providing access to the city and surrounding countryside and attractions as well as direct and immediate airport access without having to deal with the dirt, squalor, and major negatives of the inner city proper.

Although advertised as omnipresent and available at all hours, the hotel's internet access was spotty, erratic, and sporadic at best throughout the facility, both in individual rooms, and at the several advertised "hot spots." As it does tout itself as a business and conference center, this is not acceptable. Connection strength was often weak/poor and drops were frequent; actual availability was temporally limited.
