Room was very clean, a/c worked, wifi was fine, staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was small, bed was not comfortable. I made the mistake of equating people's ratings as meaning this was a five star resort. It is not five star. It's nice and clean, but not the most comfortable place.
This is a very clean resort with very helpful friendly staff like most of Belize citizens are. We felt very welcome and was very impressed at the beautiful location as well as the very nice room. We will be back. Thank you staff for making our stay very memorable.
Rosy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful!
The staff were so nice and helpful. They helped us with traveling to and from town as well as to San Pedro. Booked us tours with great guides and gave us helpful tips. They also upgraded our room for us. Great experience and price can't be beat.
Pool was under construction but we didn't stay there to swim so it wasn't a big deal but they took down the hammocks for construction which would've been nice to lounge in after a busy stay.
This hotel was a great value for the money. The staff were great and the room an grounds were clean and very spacious. The best part was the tour packages, and the tour guides that were provided through the hotel. The prices were reasonable but the tour guides were all awesome, they made the trips very enjoyable. The new pool that they are working on will be a great addition.
Great proximity to Xunatunich and San Ignacio. Only a few min away from each, can't beat the price. Great value for the money.
the staff was fantastic.
The location was just outside of town on a fairly large grounds, so it was a relaxed vibe. Room was clean, large with 3 separate beds for our family. Tour of caves/waterfall scheduled through the hotel was very good. Helpful staff.
Location is far enough outside the city you're not going to walk. Small hotel pool was inoperable. Food was OK in the kitchen/bar. Limited hot water if you all shower at once, room a/c barely kept up with the heat outside.
The tiny staff was very upbeat and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and quiet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in and asked if we could get a drink after traveling all day, and the receptionist brought us a few beers even though the bar/restaurant wasn't open for another few hours. They also were happy to call a cab for us any time we wanted to go into town (be aware this property is a few miles outside of town, only a $5 cab ride though). The place was clear and the a/c worked well. The ability to book online was very convenient.
Bed wasn't very comfortable, and in my opinion, the place is a bit overpriced. We stayed in comparable or better properties throughout Belize and paid less per night than we did at this property. We mostly stayed here b/c it was one of the few places we could book online in advance (we didn't have easy access to a phone while traveling).
WE FELT COMPLETELY CARED FOR HERE. Fabulous setting and delightful people. !!!!
owners, staff, very quiet, all were helpful.
no swimming pool. but they're building one.
The most outstanding feature of Rumors was the staff who not only provided superb service, but did it so cheerfully it lifted our spirits! The place is also spotlessly clean, and outside town so it is quiet with beautiful views.
It had a beautiful view. You would want a car as it is outside the city. Mike was a wonderful tour guide. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and friendly!! /We loved the patio outside our door to sit and relax.
Would have been helpful to know the hot water was on the right side of the shower faucet. Maybe a better lock system for the doors. We just had a standard room which didn't have all the amenities but they were willing to give us anything we needed.
Very good WIFI connection.
Too far from town to walk, but only a $5 usd taxi ride.
Met our expectations. Very smart people.
Food ordinary. But city with good food is close. Reception opening hours. Not opened sunday morning and no room service!!
Everyone of the staff tried to do everything to make us feel welcome & @ home. Out of town, but went into Guatemala so location was good. Family run accomodations, enjoyed our stay
No hot water in our shower & bed uncomfortable, but still enjoyed our stay.
Great service and property
Outside of town with no dinner option, had to take a cab a couple times to get to bus terminal and dinner.
Convenience to town (San Ignacio)
The rooms were "Spartan". No feeling of being comfortable...just a bare bones room with no amenities...nothing on the walls...cold.
Great location. Great room. Plenty of hot water and air conditioning. Would definitely stay again. Very accommodating when we ended up staying an extra night due to overbooked flights.
The banana bread French toast. Was a bit on the dry side.
Friendliness and support of staff - organized tours and guides - location
limited choice of food at restaurant
The staff was very helpful and flexible in making changes to suit our needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel to people coming to San Ignacio.
location, quick ride to town 5 USD service exceptional, family owned friendly, excellent comfortable rooms, very scenic surroundings. They will provide laundry for 5 USD
had to ask for coffee ,creamer and sugar each day
Air conditioning and WiFi working
Rooms are odd, sliding door / entrance is the only "window". No breakfast, even coffee in the morning is charged. Out of town.
The rooms were beautiful - the quality of materials and workmanship is excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The meals were very tasty, but the menu was limited if you were staying more than a few days.
Our room had a very small balcony. Next time I would ask for a room at the front with a patio - lovely for sitting outside.
