The Bakadeer Inn is conveniently located ten minutes walk from the bus terminal and fifteen minutes walk from the water taxi and downtown amenities. There is also a store close by. The place had all I needed including AC, it was also very clean and quiet enough to relax after spending time in other parts of Belize. I think that Bakadeer Inn offers very good comfort and services for the money. Filip, Czech Republic

the room was quite clean, its near center of the city and to water taxis,

laundry service was horrible (we got wet and dirty clothes after ordering laundry washing and drying), in hotel were rats running around on corridors (!!!)

Hotel is pretty rundown. Was a fair distance from city centre.

Reasonably close to airport, staff were pleasant and helpful

Fan didn't work, A/c barely worked, breakfast expensive and only place to eat within walking distance very expensive, in a poor part of town with obviously high crime rate.

Friendly and helpful staff Good coffee and breakfast

Location is in older area of Belize. Not much in the way of restaurants. Intermittent WiFi Room was very cramped with 2 beds.

The staff was delightful. The room was comfortable -- nice size and the bed was great. Good walking distance to things!

I couldn't get the window opened in my room. That would have been great!

It was clean, the staff were helpful and breakfast was good.

It was in a very poor neighborhood. The picture of the outside of the hotel must have been when it was built, not exactly what it looked like. I requested a partial refund because I only stayed 5 instead of 8 nights, no reply to date.

The young man Steven who worked from 5Am-5PM! He was extremely kind and helpful.

The room was the size of a closet! Really really bad neighborhood. No fridge nor microwave. Did not have breakfast as it was too expensive and the dining area did not look too "kosher".

The room was clean and comfortable just very small. At $55 usd it is best dollar value in Belize City. The best thing about that side of town is the chinese restaurant (Choon Saan) about 3 blocks away. Absolutely the best and very reasonable.

We were charged $16.50 for 6 small cups of below par coffee. Really!@ We drove in and were directed to park in a chain link fence enclosure about 2 or 3 doors down from hotel. Not much security.

    The location

Very poor condition place. Would be good for some one who don't mind roughing it out. Very low standard of accomadation.

1.Price but should have been $20 a night cheaper for what was really available. 2.had tv - very old, but decent picture

1.Location - bad looking neighborhood. ice available, had to walk the groc store to buy ice and then had nothing to put it in but sink. 3. cook did not show up in the morning - nothing available- we asked clerk to make coffee and toast which he did - then we had to pay for it. Other guests walked down the street to a restaurant to get something to eat & drink. 4. beds were not comfortable and had only one pillow that could knock down a bull. 5. Overall, while pictures were accurate, hotel did not live up to the descriptions. 6. We will not stay at the Bakadeer Inn again. 7. Guests cannot regulate the air conditioner temperature

The staff was very courteous to us at the beginning of our stay. The husband was friendly and gave us directions to places to eat and shopping. There is free wifi for guest. The cable was great and had all my favorite tv shows and provided the comfort of being home.

Our room/bathroom was hardly cleaned. We had to constantly complain about the room being swept and trash being taken out. There were lizards and geckos in our room and the staff didn't take our complaints seriously and laughed at us. The hotel owners children stayed in the room next door and were constantly loud and woke us every morning at seven or earlier. One of the staff members constantly made snide remarks about Americans. The rooms weren't equipped with small refrigerators.

The Inn is situated very close to the bus station and to one of the banks, what is very convenient. Nice personal and sweet rooms, I felt there absolutely comfortable and safe.

The breakfast could be cooked more delicious, it did not cost the money that was paid for it, but the coffee is wonderful!!!

    Family owned. Great value. Clean.

The location might be off putting to some. It is located on a side street about ten minute walk to town and while I personally felt safe, I can see how some people might not. This is not an affluent place although I found it very interesting and worth visiting.

Price of a cup of coffee with breakfast, each cup cost $2.75, not $2.75 for all the cups a person would drink but $2.75 each. In addition the cups were small.
