This place is good value for the money. It's clean enough, the bed is ok.
The place is pretty grungy.
Good room. Late check out.
Location. Creepy reception and building... though, the room was nice.
Berry from staff is a one of the best point of this Hotel,.
The one staff member that I was in contact with was courteous and helpful.
Safety was an issue. There was one employee who worked for three consecutive days without time off and did multiple jobs leaving the front desk unstaffed for a significant length of time.
Horrible below backpacker condition.
It was accessible to what I was doing, to the market, and to other Belize City resources.
There was a BIG screaming-match one night that left me uneasy. I guess that could happen in any hotel?
Closer walking location to downtown and the price
Interrupted supply of Internet. May be this is the way in Belize. If so, one cannot blame Bakadeer. Poor water supply. Again if this is the way in Belize, one cannot blame Bakadeer.
the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The wifi worked reasonably well
the neighbourhood is a bit rough and there isn't much around the hotel except for residential houses that look a bit dodgy
Room was clean. Walking distance to bus station and water taxis. Near Neerie's restaurant and a Chinese takeout.
We were just looking for one Night In belize City, some cabel tv, airconditioning and a good bed to sleep in. The Inn was perfect for that. The guy at the reception, was really sweet and helpful. We had a nice stay.
There isn't much to do in belize city, but this hotel is quite central to the few attractions. For the price, and for Belize this was amazing value. Clean, safe and comfortable. Soaps and clean towels are provided. I was very impressed with just how much I got for the £18 I paid for the room.
Couldn't get wifi in the room do I sat outside (room 11) to get a few bars.
WiFi poor, staff too laid back
Staff was very friendly and are the best part of this property. The water taxi is about .06mi walk away. Stay in Caye Caulker or San Pedro instead.
Church playing the same song over and over for about 3 hours. I grew up in the hood so I was ok but this hotel ain't for the timid if you plan on walking
It was $66Belize per night. It was clean, the beds comfortable- it had air conditioning. We'd missed our flight and just needed an overnight- so good. When the overhead fans didn't work in two rooms, a staff member brought us a fan from downstairs. Friendly. They will call a taxi for you.
Noise behind the hotel until 2am. The Booking Site said "shuttle for fee" but that meant they'd call a taxi for you at the going rate. The staff was so nice, but didn't know where to get breakfast on a Sunday so misdirected us, didn't know what a 'shuttle' meant in the travel business, weren't sure about air conditioning controls. Fans didn't work so you had to use air-conditioning (that was addressed).
The staff was courteous
The place is a dumb I think that before you post a place on your website you should have one of your staff spend a night this place makes booking.com look real low class they also copy your credit card and ID great way to still your identity
All the young ladies were nice and professional.
All the stairs
The Bakadeer Inn is conveniently located ten minutes walk from the bus terminal and fifteen minutes walk from the water taxi and downtown amenities. There is also a store close by. The place had all I needed including AC, it was also very clean and quiet enough to relax after spending time in other parts of Belize. I think that Bakadeer Inn offers very good comfort and services for the money. Filip, Czech Republic
the room was quite clean, its near center of the city and to water taxis,
laundry service was horrible (we got wet and dirty clothes after ordering laundry washing and drying), in hotel were rats running around on corridors (!!!)
Hotel is pretty rundown. Was a fair distance from city centre.
Reasonably close to airport, staff were pleasant and helpful
Fan didn't work, A/c barely worked, breakfast expensive and only place to eat within walking distance very expensive, in a poor part of town with obviously high crime rate.
Friendly and helpful staff Good coffee and breakfast
Location is in older area of Belize. Not much in the way of restaurants. Intermittent WiFi Room was very cramped with 2 beds.
The staff was delightful. The room was comfortable -- nice size and the bed was great. Good walking distance to things!
I couldn't get the window opened in my room. That would have been great!
It was clean, the staff were helpful and breakfast was good.
It was in a very poor neighborhood. The picture of the outside of the hotel must have been when it was built, not exactly what it looked like. I requested a partial refund because I only stayed 5 instead of 8 nights, no reply to date.
Great value and wonderful staff
The young man Steven who worked from 5Am-5PM! He was extremely kind and helpful.
The room was the size of a closet! Really really bad neighborhood. No fridge nor microwave. Did not have breakfast as it was too expensive and the dining area did not look too "kosher".
