Set in the centre of Belmopan, Villa San Juan features an outdoor swimming pool and attractive rooms. Surrounded by gardens, it offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Villa San Juan’s individually decorated rooms are spacious and air conditioned. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the San Juan’s dining room, which has high ceilings and overlooks the gardens. There is also a communal kitchen. The caves and Mayan ruins at Xunantunich and Actun Tunichil Muknal are within 50 km of the San Juan. Mountain Ridge Pine Resort and Sibun Forest Reserve are approximately 30 km away. We were so happy to meet and deal with the proprietor, Omar and his wife. They made themselves available to us whenever we were at their villa. The breakfasts were a full compliment of juice, fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, toast. The pool was spotless as was our room. We had a wonderful experience. If the city had all of the street signs up, we would have had an easier time finding the hotel.

The villa is beautiful, with a wonderful veranda, and a sparkling clean pool. The service is as good as anything in North America. The owners make you feel as if you are at home. They had watermelon juice ready for our arrival. They had home made ice cream made and in the freeze for our return in the PM. Breakfast was to write home about. We were traveling as two married couples and all four of us got a really warm fusszy feeling from this experience. Will definetly return for another visit anytime we are in Belmopan. Absolutely nothing. It was great start to finish!

The rooms were spacious and had all necessary amenities. They were very clean, the owners of the Villa San Juan very cordial and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall, a very good place to stay. The bed was a little too firm. Even hard. And the lighting beside the bed good be better for bedtime reading.
