The staff was great at organizing activities around our requests including: Tikal, Cave Tubing, Zip Lines and Horseback Riding, plus a 5-minute ride to nice dinner options in town We enjoyed a good breakfast at the restaurant before our tours and closed our nights at the outdoor bar and game area

The pool water was a little murky (though reasonable for an outdoor pool in the middle of a jungle)

    Nice facilities

Not as near as city center as appears in map, and you could hear the noise of main road

Proximity to downtown San Ignacio while maintaining an element of remoteness. Wonderful cabins. Terrific food and beverages. Very kind and attentive staff.

The style of the place was a good idea... The food was great and the receptionist was friendly.

The ac makes too much noise... And there was no sink in the bathroom.

We had a very big comfy cabana in the beautiful garden of the Windy hill. You need a car to get there, about 5mn drive from the city center, but it is worth the driving. It is up a hill, so the wind nicely cools you down and prevents mosquitos. You get a welcome cocktail, and the team is nice.

Breakfast was slooooow! But good. The restaurant is really expensive. The internet connection was not very stable.

Loved the location. Set apart from downtown proper yet still very close. The bartender (Ricky) was amazing. A true gentleman who takes pride in his craft. The entire staff were simply terrific. The rooms were massive and lovely. Very clean -- absolutely no concern about bugs which is a huge accomplishment considering the location! Beautifully and carefully manicured property. We loved it!

Super friendly and accommodating staff - they let us check in early after our over night flight into Belize and lent us money to pay our cab (which required cash) and got to shower and nap immediately which was wonderful. Food at the restaurant was - especially enjoyed their breakfast. The cabanas themselves where extremely clean and comfortable (air conditioning, clean bathroom, spacious) yet wood paneled with local art and very charming - hammock on the porch. Water in the shower was only luke warm but that didn't bother us since the weather was hot and we didn't feel like taking hot showers anyways. Requires a $3 cab ride to town but the tradeoff is nice views of the jungle from everywhere on the resort, especially including the pool. I would definitely highly recommend the place to friends!

Like I said, the shower didn't always have hot water but its hard to think of anything much to complain about.

Your property was absolutely beautiful!! The open area bar was fabulous. So green and quiet and a quick 5 minute trip into town for shopping. We would highly recommend staying at your property!

The staff was wonderful. So helpful, kind and accommodating. The grounds were also lovely and well kept as well as the rooms.

Although we enjoyed our experience in the dining room the food could be improved. Breakfast was good food for the money but we felt that dinner was lacking flavor for the price.

Everyone was so fantastic, truly bent over backwards to make our stay amazing! The gardens were gorgeous, rooms excellent, but the people were simply amazing! We felt so at home and comfortable, I almost felt sad to say goodbye ;). Loved it!!

Nothing, our stay here was perfect ;)

The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. They upgraded us to a room with AC, since it was blistering hot when we arrived. The location and trees are beautiful. The food is excellent, but very pricey. The room prices were low.

The pool was murky and full of little chunks of something. Pretty gross. They need a new filter system. Everything seems a little bit old. The whole place could use an upgrade. The grounds are beautiful, but could be fantastic if the grass were cut and plants were trimmed.

Staff-very helpful and friendly Rooms-large and spacious Great bar and restaurant

Pool needed urgent cleaning - filters were clearly blocked and you couldn't see the bottom. Shame because it could be a lovely pool! Breakfast was disorganised and slow and often late. Also limited to choose when early which doesn't work in a place where there are lots of early excursions for people staying!

There was not much to like. Its was a very run down tourist court. only cold water to the sink. Hot water to the shower was produces with a electric heater which water ran threw. the wires to the heater were open and water would splash on them, a good way to get electrocuted. Some days the maids would show up to clean the room in late afternoon or not at all.I would have to go to the office to get clean towels. The place was very dirty. The pool was green , you could not even see the bottom of the pool. I can not believe that you would mislead people in this way. My wife and I have Traveled around the world together for the last 50 years and this has to be the worst place we have ever stayed. I well make sure that all my friends and facebook people know that you sugested it and just how bad it was. Mike Gowen Puerto Vallarta MX /Albuquerque New Mexico

Windy Hill provides the best of both worlds - close enough to town to eat out and access banks, go to the market etc - but far enough away from it all to escape the hustle and bustle in between sight seeing. Two mana Mayan ruin sites on your doorstep! We walked into town on a number of occasions - about 40 mins along a dusty road - but it was easy to flag a taxi for just a couple of BZ dollars. Pool and grounds beautiful and staff friendly and really helpful.

Overpriced for what you get. Very outdated. Highway noise. Restaurant is ok, not great.

I liked the individual cottages. #16 over looked the pool. The pool was small but had an infinity edge that seemed to flow right off the edge of the earth. Nice view. The staff did everything they could to make your stay relaxing and effortless.

The accommodations were a bit modest but we did enjoy our stay.

Staff was friendly and some were helpful.

Infrastructure is old & obsolete. Wi - Fi didn't work. Hot water was non existent in rooms. I did not stay to camp out. Don't stay here unless you want to overpay for camping.

The resort is pretty and relaxing. Very nice breakfast buffet

The cost of trips and tours is very high in comparison with world standards.(Note-this observation is, in my view, correct throughout Belize)

WIndy Hill was very laid back and quiet. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the staff were very friendly. Very close to town.

On rainy days the tin roof made it hard to sleep because the raindrops were very noisy. Would have liked to see coffee in the room.

Great lication in San Ignacio, just a few minuts from Xunantunick ruins and the city of san ignacio. The food is correct and the service really good! The pool was really good!

They need to improve the breakfast. And the road to acces to the bungalow could be better!
