If you are looking for a rustic retreat, with outdoor showers there is no better place. Helpful and knowledgeable staff all the way down to the grounds keeper. We will always return to Wolf's Place.

All the staff are friendly, warm, and welcoming. They were very accommodating, especially for people with food allergies. The property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The outside showers were really lovely. The food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. If you're not on a budget, and don't mind being out of town, it is a terrific place to stay.

It is a bit far from San Ignacio or any activities. You either have to rent a car, or take the bus (which comes every 30 minutes during the day, but the last one is at 7pm). We discovered that there are hostels in the town for half the price. The hostel we found was clean and comfortable, and then we didn't have to worry about transport or being limited to their restaurant.

I enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners with the other guests, Peter and Petra, and especially their employee Emanuel. The best experience was the one on two guided tour down waterfalls in the Mountain Pine Ridge Area by Emanuel. This was a true life experience. Thanks Emanuel!
