However Im glad that I went ahead and stayed there. This is definitely a nice hotel. We stayed here for weekeend, it cost us approximately $150. The staff were quiet but poilite and when we wanted to know anything they were very helpful. The girl and boy who worked in the dining room were nice and good at their jobs the receptionist is from Argentina and her english was very good. If I were to come back to Montreal I would definitely have no qualms as to stay here again. |

Took my daughter to Montreal for a short break, and decided to stay at Celebrities. Had a wonderful stay. Staff are incredibly kind, and are always willing to help. Such a contrast to the poor service I have received in other hotels in Montreal. We had a wonderful stay, and will certainly be back. Rooms are huge, with wonderful decor and great facilities. Great location, near to the latin quarter and the Old Montreal. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Montreal. |

Every member of the staff was warm, attentive and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. In a city known for not being overly friendly to Americans. We felt totally at home and never slept better in our lives--the bedding is luxurious! It's a hidden oasis in a crowded, energetic, busy city. |

I can't say enough about the service at this terrfic boutique hotel. Francis and Soumia were great and did everything possible to make our night stay a memorable one. My fiancee and I stayed in the Provence suite which is beautiful and huge! While it is not a cheap hotel, it is an excellent value, considering what you get. I would encourage anyone traveling to Montreal to choose Celebrities hotel. |

I have been to Montreal many times before but have never stayed any where quite as magnificent as Celebrities hotel. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with warmth and kindness by the lovely staff who accommodate your every need. The hotel itself is beautiful and lavishly decorated. The bedrooms are spacious - which is quite often hard to find in Montreal- and beautifully decorated, each possessing its own unique style and flare. We stayed in the Provincial Suite which had elegant French style furniture. The bed was delicious with pillows your head just sinks into....so relaxing that after a day treading Montreal's cobbled stones it is just what your body needs. |

I stayed at this Super 2 in October of 2009. The desk clerk was as friendly as can be. He made sure that I was satisfied during my visit. The guest room that we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The bedspread in our room seemed to be brand new. The wireless worked well also. Overall, my experience at this hotel was great. I travel a lot for business in Quebec and Montreal and I will definitely stay at this location again. |

It's quite an original hotel. Completely different of everything we are used to! Decoration is quite alternative, which is very nice. Furthermore, our room was very spacious, with a refrigerator, a microwave, a table, two large sofas, one small and a table. It also had a terrace. The staff is very kind and always trying to help. The location is also excellent, near of the old Montreal and with two subway stations nearby. The only thing I can point out as disadvantage of the hotel is the inexistence of a lift. I understand that it is a traditional building, retaining some characteristics. However, for those who bring some heavy baggage (as it was our case), it becomes unpleasant to climb the narrow stairs with the bags. |

Location is very good, in the Old Port area on a charming street. The rooms are rather small in an old buidling. There was no air conditioning when I arrived. Breakfast is rather poor. |

I liked the fact that the hotel was close to the Old Montreal and to the main attractions. I didn't like the fact that the hotel didn't have parking and we had to drive to an inddor parking lot to live the car overnight; the parking at the hospital was not available and/or secure |

The unique rooms. The cedar in the bathroom. The fact that I didn't pay full price because this hotel is not worth the full price. Half of the lights didn't work. The bathtub was chipped. No water anywhere to drink (water cooler in hall empty all weekend.) All window dressings were broken on arrival. Only two towels per room and no hand towels/face towels. Very small tv that was only able to be seen from one person in bed as couch had wall in front of it. |

Do not stay here - it is not good value for money. Go to the Quebec Tourist Board and they will find you something for the same amount of money which is at least 100 times better. The only thing that was as advertised was the location was convenient for all the underground routes. This hotel is misrepresented on the site. it is filthy, dirty, run down and not a comfortable place to stay. Nothing works, the rooms are full of damp and mould, The decor is a hodge podge of bad DIY, and frankly some of the electricals were plain dangerous ( exposed wires sticking out of the ceiling and walls). The smell was horrendous, and the breakfast provided would have been ok if (a) the toaster oven to heat the croissant had worked (b) if the cutlery and mugs had been clean and washed properly and not covered in the remains of someone else's meal and (c) the table cloths had been changed at least once a day. |

I had a bad impression about the hotel. I would not recommend to anuone. The room was not clean, the condition of the washroom was really bad, the light was going on and off. Free Internet service did not work at all, the breakfast was very poor, etc. |

Features an excellent location near Latin Quarter and St. Denis restaurants and night life. The hotel design is a failed attempt at shabby chic. Not at all sophisticated, with poor construction apparent. |

It`s a boutique hotel with small rooms. It looks like an European hotel. Breakfast it`s a real meal, but a poor croissant, with a cup of coffee and nothing else. Good point is well located, near restaurants and bars and cafes of Saint Catherine and Saint Denis Streets. |

We had a marvelous time at this extremely well-located hotel on the heart of Montreal . From the station is was a very easy walk to the hotel. The staff were super accommodating and extremely tolerant of English-speaking Americans. We were always greeted by an enthusiastic "Bonjour!". The courtyard used as the setting for "la petite dejeuner" is charming. There was some exterior construction going on, in early August, but it was not that annoying. Rooms were very comfortable The location is superb. You can stumble to the old port - underground and festival area Gardens are charming . The breakfast is a Croissants, baguels, coffee, tea, confiture, btr, mineral water . |

The ExcL Celebrities is an intimate small charming hotel, excellently placed, within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants that abound in the area where old montreal Latin Quarter meet in Montreal < In > area, just off the saint catherine street and next to the old port and underground city . The welcoming lobby in the boutique hotel has a roaring open fire , inviting sofas and chairs, newspapers and a bowl of apples. The garden provides a quiet place to relax during the summer months. Breakfast is served there it is a starter Breakfast like coffee, tea mineral water , baguels , croissan t free . to start the Day ., weather permitting, or in the small breakfast room, where a wide continental selection is offered, cleverly arranged on corner shelves to maximize space. An internet station is available to guests and operated with cards from reception and in the room with a Plug. The rooms Rooms are compact but retain a sense of space – some feature high ceilings and old wooden beams. All have been renovated in the last couple of years in a modern, unpretentious style. The décor is simple yet sophisticated – rich colours in solid blocks using different textures for variety rather than patterns. Furniture is limited to essentials – a comfortable bed (double in the classic rooms, queen-size/twin in superiors upwards), a narrow bureau and chair, minibar and TV. Those most recently renovated have built in TVs. A safe is housed in the small wardrobe which with the chest of drawers is perfectly adequate for a short break. On the walls, a large mirror and well chosen art or photos, many woods and old stone . we like it No Room service over the night . |
