I needed a place on the West side of Calgary for a overnight stop while travelling home. The Hotel was modern clean and quiet. It was easy to get up early and leave without fighting my way through traffic in the morning.
The room was comfortable, clean and close to the stairs.
The bathroom fan was extremely noisy and didn't do anything for the moisture, which contributed to a bad room smell. At check-in the desk clerk couldn't find our reservation and was ready to dismiss us until we convinced him we did have a confirmed reservation...for a 6 night stay.
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay the room was by far a lot more then I expected and a great value. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely outstanding great service!
Distance from downtown that's all.
Great location and staff. Will always book here when staying in Calgary
Room was comfortable, staff was cooperative and attentive, location is good if headed for bannf and the rockies, the buffet breakfast costs cad 15 and is good.
Room didn't have electrical sockets near the table and could not supply a multiple socket, so we had to buy one. The restaurant attached to the hotel is expensive. We did not appreciate being charged cad 3 for a few tomatoes at breakfast and when asked for a few more, we were charged an additional cad 3
The location as we were to golf at Springbank (but the snow changed that). Lots of Parking. Staff very good. the event we had there Monday night was well done.
The bed was too soft for us we prefer a firm mattress. Wish that the air conditioner was not so noisy.
Location was okay, AC worked well.
The mattress was extremely "springy", with every movement felt. No pocket coils, I guess. The bathtub was missing a safety strip and Ialmost fell having a shower, wrenched my back.
The manager's response To my questions regarding corporate discount that ou offer to the company I work for
I was there with my baby they give to me the room smoking area ( my room non smoking). And bar ..,, So wasn't happy even I walked hall way I can have a smell.. ( smoke) And my baby said mommy this hotel no good...
The hotel was amazing the kids loved it and it had alot to do around the area. the park was right outside and it was very clean.
Easily accessible, friendly staff, modern comfortable rooms, good facilities. All in all good value with access to amenities.
Some road noise if your room faces Trans Canada 1. In house movies did not work.
Location convenient restaurant business centre room very nice and updated
Need more electrical outlets at desk in room toilet had smell to it and was not cleaned thoroughly under inside rim..could see it.
Super comfy king bed, large room with additional room with pull out couch if you have little ones that you want to separate from you and your special one at night
Good wifi. Bed comfortable.
Room smelt strange. Restaurant menu was pretenious and so was the description of the premises e.g "dining room complete with bamboo table tops and enunciated by fireplaces .." None of us have been able to work out what they were trying to say and it caused much amusement. There was no atmosphere to the place at all, have stayed in much better at lower prices.
From booking my reservation to checkout I was treated like a welcome guest. The room was spotless, fresh and inviting which was appreciated after a long drive. I have stayed with Four Points in Alberta and BC and have never been disappointed.
Restaurant, exercise and pool w/ slide.
TV and remote didn't work well - slow-delayed response
everything was fine good value for the money
a little hard to getinto parking lot due to one way roads and there was a wedding and all spaces were mostly taken when we arrived better the second day we stayed stayed a second day bescause the value of the first days stay
the newly renovated rooms were great enjoyed the very large TV
Was given a discount for not being able to utilize the inroom movies. I was also able to have a late check out while I was at the Color Me Rad 5km race. Perfect hotel to walk to Olympic Park for race as there was no parking available at the park site.
Was not able to watch movies as the inroom movie function was not working for both nights I stayed.
The hotel staff were very helpful and laid back. Loved it for sure!
The only thing I didn't like too much was that every time I left the hotel and then came back and used the wifi, I had to log in again and again.
They rooms were very spacious. I liked that there was a sittingroom area separated by a door from the bedroom area. The staff was great about letting us keep the room late enough to shower after the Color Me Rad 5K that we were there for. The kids loved the pool and water slide. the pool was not too deep for the kids. They could easily touch even at the end of the waterslide.
The breakfast buffet was not very good. The pancakes were cold, dried out and tasteless. There was not much of a selection on the buffet and no fresh fruit at all.
staff was helpful - location to city
one elevator that was very slow hard to find a parking space on the weekend and one way streets to get there was not user friendly
The waterslide was a nice thing to have for the kids. The bedding was nice and cozy. The staff was attentive and helpful.
The mattresses were not very comfortable. They felt cheap and hard and springy. The whole mattress moved whenever one of us turned in bed. Neither of us slept very well. The furniture in the front area of the room was in poor condition with scuffs and chips out of all edges of the coffee table and side table. The elevator was broken. I paid 119 a night for the room and I would probably try to find a better hotel.next time. I stayed in a super 8 in red deer last month that blew this hotel away and had a waterslide as well as free breakfast in the a.m for the same price. This was my first stay at a sheraton, a name which has always invoked an idea of luxury. But the actual stay fell far from that. When a Super 8 has got you beat by a mile it's pretty sad Sheraton.
Rather difficult to find due to location among other buildings.
