The hotel is within easy walking distance of a number of bars and restaurants in the French-speaking part of town. The main strip in the English-speaking part is only about 10 cad in a taxi. If you're getting there by car there is secure parking across the orad but you have to pay. The main coach station where the greyhounds, megabuses stop is right down the street too. We had a problem with the ac in our room but the staff were really quick to fix it and happy to help. There's no parking provided. It oculd do with a bit of a makeover but seeing as we were only sleeping there, it wasn't a huge problem.

Nice, cozy, smaller room in an old-style house. The main disadvantage - no hotel parking. No lift into 2nd floor.

Excellent location - we walked there from the central bus terminal. Close to restaurants and metro. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. They stored our luggage after checkout. Icy cold the first night; had to ask for a remote to turn down the ac.

Very close to everything. Comfortable little rooms. Very affordable. Toilet was continuously running. Carpets a bit dirty. Smokey smelling although there were signs everywhere saying there was fine if caught smoking. But it was $60 a night so I can look past all that

The location was excellent in the Latin quarter and opposite the coach station. Bathroom had been recently renovated The stench of stale smoke in the room was horrific! It claims to be a no smoking hotel yet their are ash trays on each floor all with the cigarette butts in- The smell was over powering. Breakfast was very poor and was served in the hotel door way. We saw 2 other couples complaining about bed bugs as they were bitten all over. Wi fi signal is poor and we wouldn't stay again.

The pictures were scary but the price was right...we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. For the price this is probably one of the best hotels near the gay village. Air conditioning worked great, bed was comfortable, and location was perfect.

The hotel location was a factor, the staff were bilingual, and so am I, and the price was right for this time of the season. The hotel is quaint and clean for an older hotel. I would stay again!

A quaint old hotel that definitely needed some work. The hotel staff and the location were excellent, which made up for any hotel related quirks.I Will go back again. Everything was old, but everything worked. No problems

It is right across the street from the last bus stop of the 747 express bus service from the airport. Staff was friendly and available 24h. Rooms are en-suite for the price of shared bathroom elsewhere in the city and neighborhood looks a bit shaby but feels safe (as most parts of Montreal look and feel, actually). No frills but excellent value for money. It was weird that they serve breakfast in the lobby and only had two small tables and one chair set up for guests. I arrived very late and my room was taken by someone else, but the hotel acknowledged the mistake promptly and transferred me to another room. When I mentioned I did not like the room, I was upgraded to a very good room for no extra cost. Just what I would expect from a large hotel chain, so I am happy to say they overdelivered.
