receptionstaff really helpfull. breakfast is ok ,but hotel does not offer fried eggs ,bacon etc. We think the restaurant is rented to somebody else ,and if you come with the coupon for breakfast you are treated a little bit as a "coupon client"

Very good and genuine service. Assisted picking dining locations and there choices were excellent. Heating/cooling fan...when not in use made a very annoying whining sound which kept me awake..i am however quite a light sleeper.

This is an amazing hotel for Location, in the heart of Old Quebec.It is right across the street from the port where the cruise ships drop off, which is very convenient if you are ending your cruise at this city.The hotel is very accomodating and will pick you up at the Port.The rooms are sparce and modern. Don't look for any old world charm.The concierge is very helpful and will arrange any needs you would have.Don't take your kids to this hotel! No refrigerator in room. No safe in room .No drawers for clothes, just closet which had lovely robes hanging in them.Did not include the Continental breakfast, which cost an extra $12.00 per person. Rather tacky and would rather be charged more for the room up front and included the breakfast.

The Hotel was in a perfect location in the Old City within walking distance of the best restaurants and sights. It has a modern boutique feel in a converted 19th century bank. The sink in our bathroom did not drain properly. This is the only issue I had with the hotel and our room. Otherwise the spacious rain shower and bathroom were excellent.

La chambre était spacieuse avec une vue extraordinaire à la fois sur le Chateau Frontenac et le fleuve St-Laurent. Le service de conciergerie a été bien utile pour les réservations de restaurants. Le déjeuner ne comportait, à l'exception du café, aucun item chaud.

Le service courtois et accueillant. L'atmosphère calme. Les petits à-côtés sympathiques (pop-corn gratuit avec location de film, machine Espresso dans la chambre, petit salon avec machine Espresso. Le décor agréable et sobre de la chambre. Le temps d'attente pour le service de voiture au départ de l'hôtel.

Nous avons apprécié la situation géographique, la tranquilité du secteur et le personnel a bien répondu à nos attentes, très poli. La chambre était confortable. Le déjeûner était bien. En fait, nous y retournerons sûrement lors d'une prochaine escapade à Québec.

Tout a été parfait, de la réception au repas. Malheureusement, la nuit venue, il y avait un fort bruit de ventillation dans la chambre nous empêchant de dormir si bien qu'il a fallu demander de changer de chambre... Ce qui n'est guère agréable en pleine nuit et laisse avec un mauvais goût malgré toutes les autres qualités de l'hôtel.

Il est malheureux que pour le prix payé pour la chambre que le petit déjeuner ne sois pas inclus. D'autre par le prix de 12$ payé pour le petit déjeuner offert est beaucoup trop chère pour ce qui est offert. L'Hotel 71 est peut-être trop axé pour gens d'affaire qui ont un compte de dépenses bien garnit.

“We were attracted by the excellent ratings and write ups in Travelocity and we were not disappointed. Our room was upgraded and was superb. Loved having a basket breakfast outside our door in the morning and although it wasn't our usual very healthy morning start, it was a treat to have fresh croissants and other goodies. The location was great and fun to be in Vieux-Quebec. The staff were charming and so helpful.
