Arkona Motel  

I liked nothing.......It seems as if drug addicts stayed there. The atmosphere was extreamly unwelcoming.

I loved the price of the hotel. Obviously we weren't staying at a four- star hotel. I read that the beds weren't comfy, and for the most part, that's true. However, for the price, this hotel is a bargain. The shower was amazing. Hot hot water, great water pressure. I think that was my most favorite thing about the hotel. The sheets were clean, the room was clean. I would stay here again. Overall, it wasn't too bad of a motel. I would recommend this to my friends.

The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no heat. We got very very cold at night. We might have just over looked something. So, if you book here, just ask if heat is available. They had a wall air conditioner, however we did not try it, so it could or could not work.

I like the free parking and the rate was excellent. It is good for overnight stay not a day longer. I would not recommend it for family with small children. I think it needs a facelift.

The bahroom door in our room coud not close and we were given a 'Grand Welcome' by a host of flies.My husband was up all night trying to get ride of them. The breakfast needs a better presentation. It turns us off.

Good clean acceptable well located and at a great price

The rate was excellent for the price of a king-sized bed, micro, fridge, pool. It was only approximately 3-4 miles from downtown, so the area was quieter than usual. All of the bed, blankets, pillows, fridge, micro, and bathroom were immaculate. I stayed in #53.

The only suggestion I would make is to make sure all of the windows are covered--even the frosted ones. Morning light is great when you want to get up, but obnoxious if you aren't ready.

It was a quiet hotel about 10 minutes away from the major attractions. It was actually better than expected. It was neat and clean. It had a fridge and microwave. Air conditioning worked. Had windows on both sides of the room so we were able to get a breeze through the room. Shower pressure was great. No bedbugs were detected. Room was a nice size. Had a lot of space for luggage.

The bathroom door was falling apart. The carpet was old.

The bed was very comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Offer of extra towels if necessary.

Easy to visit Niagara Falls.

the owners are wonderful and very nice people.. rooms do the job they are suppose to.. pool is great.. overall experience was average!

beds could be more comfortable!

Great price. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool looked nice although I did not go in--saw families with kids swimming quite a bit. There are also small outdoor seating areas outside the rooms, so you can enjoy the evening. Excellent a/c in room during a warm summer night.

Don't expect luxury. The hotel is probably 50 years old, and certainly shows its age. But as long as you expect things to be bright, shiny and new, this place is just fine. My toilet kept running all the time was the only problem I had with my room.
