The house is old and nice The parking is free Internet is super fast Breakfast was super good The room was big as our apartment The Jacuzzi was just superbe after a cold February day, spent walking around the falls
Only 3 rooms upstairs, each with its own Jacuzzi tub. Fridge and microwave in shared hallway. King size bed in each room. Free WiFi
Tv was very small.
Room was decent and staff friendly
Property seemed to be run down not well maintained
Breakfast was good. I feel like being queen.
Metal door in room. Better to put some picture on .
I loved everything about the house. We felt like we were in another century. In addition, even though there were other guests staying, we felt like we were the only ones. Great privacy. I will good to this B&B again. & the breakfast was amazing. Amazing staff.
I loved everything about this place. I could tell that a lot of time and effort was put into making guests comfortable down to the rubber ducks around the spa tubs. The owner was a very polite and considerate man and I would have loved to stay there for weeks if I could have. In a quiet residential area really close to the falls so you get a homely feel but it's only a short way to nightlife. Breakfast was lovely.
Nothing I didn't like about this experience. :)
Dodie When you meet him , you will feel like your in a fine play in a grand venue. Guest You meet the most interesting people at breakfast
What's not to like?
The delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, the comfortable bed, the attention of the staff, the nice touch on details, the clean and inviting room, this place is definitely worth staying at. We also received great ideas for things to do and see, and got to know other travelers. If you are thinking about The Niagara Falls, check it out.
Great staff and nice, cozy room
Enjoyed our stay with David and Janie. Great breakfast each morning and they were very helpful on things to do and educating us on Canada.
The house is beautiful, if rather (too) full of antiques. Beautifully restored woodwork and architectural details. Our bathroom was in the turret so it felt quite luxurious. Breakfast was very good and beautifully presented. The muffins are wonderful!
The staff were very friendly & welcoming & the breakfast was excellent
On the down side our room was too small no room for cases in the bedroom & very cluttered. The bathroom on the other hand was really spacious.
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean. Beautiful Victorian home. And a delicious breakfast.
The neighborhood was a little questionable at first but it wasn't bad.
Romantic king bed suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. Lovely garden view. Lots of paintings and artifacts from 100 years ago giving you a cozy feeling.
If you pick the breakfast option you will be seated at one table with other fellow travelers and there isn't much choice (not a buffet but home made food). However, we were okay with that.
Breakfast was excellent Parking and WiFi provided Lots of collectibles to see
Windows were very dirty
Host/owner was awesome - very helpful Nice Breakfast Free Parking (big deal in Niagara)
A little too much clutter - the theme is antiques - not a square foot in house without something to look at- house is over a century old. Location ideal for summer - 1.5 Km away from NF
The service was great, the rooms looked like something out of a movie, it made us almost want to stay in the room for the whole day and night, that being said it is only a 10 minute walk to downtown niagara near many great restaurants and interesting sights. Definitely worth it
The staff use highly scented oil based air freshener plus highly scented soaps for towels, sheets and bath products. For someone with allergies this was sickening. Breakfast was overcooked each morning and the staff of 1 did not offer alternatives or even say what would be served or how.
Simply superb customer service. Terrific breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.
The old house itself has charms. Situated in a calm part of Niagara, still in walking distance (25min) to the Falls.
Just the B&B, no other leisure room. No personnel to welcome you, just a letter. The room itself had no space left for the suitcases or the clothes, needed to use the more spacious bathroom. The breakfast was a bit basic.
Close to the falls, nice room, very comfortable.
High priced for what we got. Breakfast was so-so. Muffin was great but eggs were just ok-expected more. Didn't realize price we were quoted was per person.
We really enjoyed our stay at A Moment in Time. There are only three bedrooms, and the house was very quiet. It really felt like we were the only ones there, even though during one night all rooms were occupied. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Jeannie (spelling? I think that was her name?) cooked and did some light cleaning (replaced the towels, made the bed) while we were out during the day. She was an absolute delight, giving us a few recommendations and answering any questions we had. The breakfast room is amazing. They have so many beautiful tea sets and old memorabilia. I ran upstairs to grab my camera during breakfast! The house itself is just beautiful. It's adorable from the outside, the gardens are so pretty, and the house is lovingly decorated. There are hundreds of portraits circa the early 1900s all along the stairway to the rooms. Location is great. It was a nice ~20 minute walk to the downtown area/Falls. We walked to get to the boat, and it was great not to worry about paying for parking. We had a chance to see all the rooms on the last morning, as the other guests had left much earlier than us. All rooms are very spacious, and have large bathrooms. Every bathroom has a large, jetted tub for 2, in addition to a standard stall shower. Each room has a large, king sized bed. All the rooms felt very private, and as I said, we didn't hear anyone except when walking up/down the staircases. It's definitely an older home (the floors creaked!) but that just added to the charm. The bathrooms were modern and everything was very clean. Also, the Internet was excellent. My husband was very worried we wouldn't be able to stream Netflix or anything, but we had no problems. The Internet was surprisingly fast. Kudos to the owners! I would definitely stay at this B&B again! We had a wonderful time. Great house, great location, EXCELLENT breakfast. Thanks again! :)
I don't know if this is a con, but we only saw David, one of the owners, once. It would have been nice to see them more than just in passing, but we never had any issues we needed to make them aware of.
The very pleasant and helpful staff. Away from the tourist masses, but only a fifteen minute walk to the Falls. Pleasant old world ambivalence of the residence and surrounding garden. Home made muffins at breakfast.
Met expectations - good value for money.
