The location was fabulous and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and the buffet selection was ample. The rooms were very basic without dressers or even hooks and hangers. The winding staircases could b tricky to navigate if you were on the 3rd floor. The bathroom fan was very loud and went on every time the light did.

Location, price. Lovely old building, but it's clean. Single room for three adults was a bit small, but we managed! Their breakfast is very scarce.

Friendly, courteous staff. Great bed. Handy to train and bus stations. Window allowed quite a bit of street noise in.

Wthin a few minutes walk of the train station, and with easy access to all the main attractions in Montreal. Many bars & restaurants close by. Room was clean, staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast basic but quite adequate. WiFi free and generally functional. Overall, excellent value.

Located in the heart of Montreal, the hotel is within walking distance to most of Montreal attractions. The breakfast is good, the room is renovated. Individually controlled air conditioner and heater add comfort. Overall, it's good value for the money. Upon check-in I inspected the bed and found hairs on the sheets and pillow sham, which was awful. Also the cleaning staff don't really respect Do not disturb sign.

Good staff, upgraded room without us asking. Nice modern rooms. Quiet. Right downtown, great location. Breakfast was ok and included fresh oranges and pineapple, yogurt, prunes, bagel, bread, cereal, juices and milk and coffee. Room was very cold, felt wasn't heated in winter! No fridge in room.

I left my Kindle behind in the room and tought I would never see it again. They found it, called me and I had someone go and pick it up. They were extremely friendly and pleasant. The room was small, but sufficient for my sleeping needs.

Typical free breakfast. Bagels and cereals were good. 10-15$ parking across the street. Right by Bell Centre. We were able to walk to the old town. We got a free room upgrade from double to queen. Window was not sealed around the window-mounted air conditioning unit. We stayed there on a cold night in winter and the breeze came right in. The air made it through the gaps around the air conditioner as well as through the unit itself. Complaints about the hotel smelling like Indian Buffet are overexaggerated. The hallway did smell, but the room didn't smell at all.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. I had to change my booking multiple times and they gladly obliged and answered any questions I had. The bed and sheets were comfortable and didn't feel cheap. Our toilet wasn't flushing properly and we were unable to get it fixed. The room was small but that was to be expected.

Cleanliness and room service were great for a budget-friendly hotel. Poor attention to detail, for example the bed slides when you lean on the back board or even at the slightest move, and no closet space or dresser.

was excellent location when taking the train - walking distance. You could open the window. Was attending a concert at Bell Center - excellent location and deal for an overnight stay. WiFi connection didn't work, even though we were given the password. If you were staying for a longer stay, the room may be too small.

The location was great! We were able to walk to the Bell Centre and to go shopping on Rue Cathrine. It is also really close to the subway and we used that to do our sight-seeing. The room was comfortable. The room was tiny but this was fine, we really didn't need more space.
