Close to centre Bell
Close to downtown amenities. Well priced for downtown close to the Bell Centre.
Wifi didn't work all the time and was slow.
Location for downtown is good. Close to shops/Bell Centre and Metro.
There are no lifts and the stairs aren't the most user friendly if you have lots of heavy luggage. If your there for a few days its a great hotel to stay at. If your there for longer and want the hotel comforts this probably isn't the hotel for you.
Clean and centrally located
Helpful staff, clean, good location
Booked a room with two queen size beds, got a room with one double bed, and had to pay $12.00 a night for a cot. The rooms are EXTREMELY small.
The location was perfect, close to the Bell center and Crescent street
The walls near the bed were visibly filthy, the toilet was visibly dirty and stained under the seat, the shower had hair stuck to the wall. Room incredibly tiny. Paid a premium for a room new years night, it should have been cleaned more thoroughly.
Close to many restaurants and the bell centre
It was all good
Excellent location. VERY friendly staff. Rooms not fancy but very comfortable and clean.
small bed was extremely comfortable and pillow.
room was a little dirty, found baby bottle socks and used tissues under bed. they didnt belong to us. room was very small.
Tiny room, no fridge, tiny bathroom
Booked at this hotel because we were on a budget Met our essential needs for a place to sleep and that's about it. Very conveniet location for our purposes of going to Bell Center
Because we were on a budget, this hotel is not on the "A" list (probably not even on the "B" or "C" list. Even with confirming room expectations for 2 rooms with 2 beds in each, we arrived to find only a queen bed in each of the 2 rooms - had to scramble to get them to put cot/mattress in both rooms!!! Hallway traffic is quite noisy throughout the night.
The hotel was close to major attractions including St. Catherines and the Bell Centre. It was cheap and although the room was small, it was good looking and clean. We were able to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout while we waited for our bus. The free breakfast was great and it included fresh fruit, toast, bagels, croissants, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, and homemade fresh belgian waffles. Our queen superior room had a sufficient private barh. Heat and air conditioning systems worked well.
The wifi signal was poor and didn't work, and the room lacked a mini fridge and decent space for storage.
- Position! Right next to the 747 bus and just next to the downtown! - No elevator - good cardio every day :-) - Exactly what you paid for - Friendly and nice staff
- wifi has really bad coverage on 3rd floor - no problem on the 1st or at the restaurant, but it's bit sloww anyway
Excellent location - Near the Metro and the shuttle for the airport; Close to restaurants and general stores. Very helpfull staff.
Handy to museum and the Bell Centre. Beds were comfortable and TV & WIFI works fine. A restaurant is adjacent to this hotel seerving typical light fare with fresh fruit, cereal, bread and yogurt. Breakfast waffles were delicious, made by the charming silver haired gentleman who had greeted us on arrival and taken our bags up the stairs to the room. He refused any tip! Sound proof room so no disturbance from the street though we were right at the front of the building.
Hard to climb stairs, and no elevator. The shower stall was small but adequate. The room was hot and it took awhile to cool down for sleep comfort. The friendly staff came by to clean after 3 PM when we had returned to rest so we refused a refreasher of the room, not a big deal as we were only staying two nights. On checking out the man at the desk was busy on his cell phone with a private agitated call and pointedly ignored us who were hoping for him to fetch us a cab. After 5 minutes of waiting for him, we noted he continued to pace talking on the phone and ignore us, we left to hail a fine cab from the street.
The location was perfect. Getting just about anywhere was easy. The room was small but perfect for a weekend away and only 2 of us. I was pleasantly surprised. The continental breakfast had way more than I expected! The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and you can't beat the price!
The wifi didn't work in our room. So, we used it in the lobby/restaurant area. Not a huge deal - since we were hardly in our room anyways!
Staff was drinked
Wow what a comfey bed. Nothing fancy in the room. But wow real nice bedding and pillows.
The hotel was run down. We went through 3 rooms before finding one that was just half decent. The old adage - you get what you pay for certainly applied here. The pictures on the website were very decieving.
Good location. Helpful and friendly staff on the first day. Good breakfast.
Wifi didn't work properly for us (and others) and they kept changing the excuses.
The gentleman that greeted us and checked us in was outstanding. He noticed I was on crutches and offered to give us a room on a lower floor. He was helpful , considerate and because we felt great with the initial contact at the hotel , everything else had to be just fine. People really make all the difference, we would definitely go back and recommend to our friends!!
room was a small box
Cost, location and price included breakfast with excellent waffles made to order! Comfortable and clean beds. Air conditioning and heat controls.
Noise all hours of morning and bathrooms are small. Not a very good view of back roof.
Location was close to where I had to be the following morning.
From the second I walked in the Homeless shelter, I mean Hotel stunk like a soup kitchen. I was double charged for what was called a room. It was 60 plus steps to get up to my room. When I got through the maze of hallways and stairwells my room was no more than 15 degrees. I then decided to get a drink from the vending machine which is no more than 15 feet from the hotel clerk. I asked for change to grab a pop and his reply was "we don't make change". I was astonished that this place was in business. There is a reason this place is $80 a night. Believe me!!!!
