Location I requested a room with 2 gueen beds. I got a room with one bed only. The bathroom was not clean. I paid 420 dollars for 1 night I expected to at least get what was promised!

Hotel exterior/interior design. Proximity to slopes and Whistler village. Courteous and welcoming staff. Cleanliness and maintenance of rooms. Good customer service by telephone. Would stay there again. Sound insulation between rooms could have been better. Length of waits for service at hotel associated restaurant-the White Spot- are too long in the morning hours.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpfully. The free wi-fi within the individual rooms was very poor, with a poor signal which was constantly dropping out. A lot of people were sitting in the lobby to get a good signal. Also the noise level within the hotel was quite loud. Not so much the guests partying etc but the slamming of doors and the cleaners in the hallways of a morning. More of a poor building design and insulation.

Great value overall.It is a little walk to the gondola (~10 minutes with ski boots on)...not the best part of the day but for the price difference vs. The hotels which are right at the bottom of the slope, seems very worth it. The hot tub/pool area was nice but the hot tub specifically was constantly full, and people were drinking in and around it which made us hesitant to go in even when it wasn't full!

The staff were amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with our stay. The walls and floors are thin and needs improvement in soundproofing. People that spend hours in the spa not enabling others to have a turn. Could have a better choice in pillows (maybe pillow menu?).

Good location, good value, clean, modern hotel. Helpful staff, hot tub and free ski lockers. Noise from adjacent rooms, not enough hot water in evenings. Hot tub crowded, long queue at reception and only one person working.

Something you need to add to your words to describe is "pet friendly" that is a main reason we picked the Aava Hotel. Pet friendly was #1 and then price was #2 Hot tub needs to be bigger. It was like a human stew, we didn't even go in as there were too many people in a little round hot tub.

We booked at the last minute. Two things we wanted were king size bed (gay couple, both guys over 6 feet tall) and a pool & hot tub. Got both at Aava for much less than any other other last minute offering. A microwave oven would have been nice. One tiny towel rack in the bathroom was kind of weird. Otherwise everything in the room was top notch.

Incredible customer service - very nice and attentive employees at check in. Very sharp they know what they are doing. Even the cleaning staff said hello. Overall very nice experience at the Aava. Parking was paid parking but very secure and easy to navigate to the hotel room I will recommend this hotel to others and stay again myself. At check in, there was not enough room at the entrance to temporarily park my car. I had to park a distance fron the hotel. It looked like some cars had been parked there overnight by the amount of snow on them - red dodge pick up? Why was that red dodge in front of the hotel every day? I would keep that all open to temp parking for check in or departure only. Great stay - thank you!

It was situated very convenient to all amenities. A lovely clean and comfortable room with all necessary facilities for our short break. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Both my friend and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Location, reasonable price, clean, well maintained, pleasant staff, very convenient Can be very noisy. A lot of noisy guests in hallway and rooms nearby - could hear too much activity in the hotel early in the morning and late at night. Unfortunate because all other aspects of the hotel are great. But when being able to sleep is difficult due to noise - it affects your stay.
