Very good comfortable bed
Poor wifi was frustrating.
Clean, nice friendly people at the front desk. Over all a good experience.
Their lots of people running around the hallways at night, that said got quiet around 11:30pm as I think most people were there to ski the next day.
The front staff was very accommodating and courteous. This is an excellent economical (relatively speaking) choice while staying in Whistler.
I really liked the location of the Hotel. Very convenient. I loved that fact that there were lockers and a room to leave gear.
I felt that size of the television was very small. I had a beautiful king sized bed with nice high ceiling and plenty of wall space and a tiny TV. The tv was dwarfed by the room
There where a lot of costs that were not included in my booking. I have no problem paying for what I used, so post it before on any add site. Disappointed with hidden fees.
I was hearing the noise from the corridor
Headline says it, fantastic location with great views of the mountain. Complimentary Go Pro was great, but a bigger memory card if taking videos would be a bonus tho. Super friendly, helpful staff,
Free wifi was good but we found it very unstable most of the time. No on site restaurant, but only 3 min walk to main village.
Loved the cozy boutique feel. Quiet because of the smaller size. Breakfast buffet is offered. Would definitely stay there again.
I've stayed at the Aava many times before. Combined with with the staff, facilities and the value, it is by far my favorite hotel to stay when I'm visiting Whistler.
Front desk staff
No continental breakfast Not every one that comes wants to pay 20 dollars to eat a buffet every morning
Friendly staff and fantastic bed
-Location, just a few steps away from the village. -Staff is friendly -We left our car in the parking lot after we checked out, walked to the gondola, very convenient.
-the wall is too thin, you can basically hear all the noise from next door and from the hallway. I couldn't fall asleep because of the noise, my neighbors talk til 4am!
Got locked out of our room (with all our stuff inside of course) for a whole night due to the lock being busted. They gave us a room to stay but did not open the room until 845am and we had to catch a bus by 930am. They did not have room slippers or even toothbrushes when we requested them when we were locked out of the room. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
bathtub and shower was high end
some stains on the carpet
Staff were extremely helpful and remembered the little things like what my friend and I had been up to the day before. The hot tub was very nice!
I now want to live there.
Everything was excelente, hotel, staff, comfort, easy access for restaurants, gondola, main village.
We miss the breakfast.
The location was the most convenient. Did not like the added parking cost as that is a free cash grab to the holding. Was a basic room.
Room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel is in a nice location at the base of the village within a 5-10 walk to all of the main Whistler Village. Not a far walk across the street to some nice trails either
I only stayed one night, so the parking fee wasn't outrageous, however, I think it would add up immensely if staying for an extended period. I think parking fees are the norm in Whistler though, as it's a walking-only village.
Very helpful staff nice sized rooms ,super clean comfy beds . Stayed here before and will stay here again
The bottom if the pool concrete is slighty rough children's toes got scraped but they were in there over an hour
Hot tub and sauna
The pillows were old and uncomfortable also the walls were paper thin and we had noisy neighbours both nights ;-(
The staff was great (girl from Australia and bike guys), the year-round hot tub, pool and sauna were a pleasant addition, free bike rentals and when we were there, we had free go pro rentals!!
Great location. Good gym. Very quiet (we were there off season).
No restaurant or snack bar.
Clean, quiet, and very friendly staff.
My room was in the East Wing which was away from Highway 99 so it was quiet! The hotel was simple but classy in its decore.Location was great for walking to Conference Centre and village !
The only suggestion I would make is to make a clear sign for location of elevator from the secured parking.. Took me awhile to find it.
Location is good- close to village but away from partying in Village. Unfortunately what appeared to be a very large party in room above though calls to front desk did result in quietening down for awhile until we needed to call again.
You cannot check in one minute before 4pm however maids are knocking on your door at 8 am to start cleaning. This was October so not the ski season when you might be up early. Noise from room above was totally unacceptable We had to call reception several times Fridge not on when we arrived, only one single serve coffee packet for 2 people, hair dryer did not work. Though there were some staff that were very helpful & nice, some others were totally oblivious to customer service. Would be nice to have small coffee shop
