Pictures looked a lot nicer than the house really is. Fairly old, not completely clean, youth hostel type (except for the bunk beds), a bit smelly. Location is relatively far from the airport.

Packed with people one sleeping in the kitchen with her child. Not very clean, no breakfast even though advertised. No one up at 6:45 as organised to take me to the airport, I had to call my own cab. Towels looked dirty so did not shower. Full refund would be expected!

Location The owner has unimaginable temper. We paid for the room with private bathroom during the booking but got a room without private bathroom. When my wife requested rate adjustment according to the web listed price for the different room, he got very angry and used dirty languages. After we got home, our credit card was charged much more than the amount shown on the receipt. When my wife called him for an explanation about the difference he initially stated that was "transfer fee". When asked for an explanation of "transfer fee", he again became very very angry and used extremely cruel, insulting and dirty languages. We have asked our credit card company to help resolve the over charge. I have never encountered any one like him for the last 25 years in North America. He is absolutely a maniac!

Nothing Phone calls are screened n remained unanswered..unable to meet expectation of a good n ideal host..understaff ....single person handling all task in the bb affects the guest..imagine yourself wasting time at the point of arrival waiting phone to be answered n response to pick up....u end up taking a cab which has triple cost of what u try to economize...it is so disappointing for strangers like us to be treated that way...location is remote...no easy access to public transportation...spend more time n see less or do less of ur schedule or whatever activity you plan to do. He is caught between attendance to in house guest n arrival schedule pick up...

Casual atmosphere in a home away from home! Our room had a bed head which was not attached to the bed so it moved when we did. Other rooms were ok, just the one with a toilet included.

It felt very homely. Everyone was incredibly nice and had great meals, drinks and conversations while I was there. The bed was also very comfortable and the amenities were clean and tidy. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The owner is very nice and friendly. The location is very quiet. There is a bus line to subway 3 blocks away. Was so dirty, but the owner mentioned that one employee was not working that weekend.

it is not a hotel - it is a Home. I was relly glad to see such a comfort accomodation and attention from owner. Breakfast is a very good and "homemade"!

The proprietor appeared very friendly. Hidden charges of more than 40% on top of the total room price c$75.99 Booked thru Booking.com. To a foreign visitor, the b & b should provide full details of various additional charges, before and upon arrival, not thereafter based on visitor's self-read finding which God knows whether complete or not. No bill payment receipt with any breakdown of the total c$106.95 Given upon check-out. I was not aware of the exact amount until after I returned to Hong Kong and checked with my Hong Kong credit card issue bank. Upon check-out I only supposed that I would be additionally charged c$10 for their shuttle to airport. I waited for the final bill with the total amount charged by the b & b upon check out but was not provided. No decent nor full breakfast which was provided much later than the scheduled time. We only had a quick breakfast in the b & b and were nearly running out of time for their shuttle to the airport originally scheduled 10:15 A.M.

Everything! We loved everything... The owner is such a great host and lovely person! Nothing we loved everything, I highly recomend this hotel to every type of traveller ....( apart from if your a horrid human being with no manners!! Cause this friendly atmosphere would not mix well)

The conversations with the guests in the morning late night conversations were so loud - use of dishwasher so late in the evening - 11 pm is to late; lack of use of the back yard - no place to sit and relax outdoors - $10 parking to expensive
