Location was great Nice looking hotel and wonderful view from our room Some staff were wonderful
One staff member was really rude, so created a bad feel overall Pullout bed was horrible
Helpful staff location and cleanliness
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Would stay again!
The size & cleanliness of our room was excellent and the coffee and food put out downstairs was excellent and a pleasant surprise. Most of the staff were extremely friendly.
Unfortunately our room was located right next to the bars so we didn't get much sleep, I would definitely phone to book next time so that I didn't get stuck on that side of the hotel.
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Elevator was very slow and did not get to sleep until 3:00 AM with the Night Club across the street
Everything. Especially appreciated the welcome chocolate chip cookie and apple after a long travel day and the help offered for restaurant / resource advise. The cold bottle of water in our car on departure was a delightful surprise.
Location and free bars at reception
Hard bed and noisy room on the second floor also the lift painfully slow
The air conditioner was very noisy. That's why we didn't sleep well.
excellent free coffee in the lobby. very comfortable clean affordable stay.
Great location in Whistler for village shops restaurants, etc and only a 5 min walk to ski lifts. Great to have the outdoor pool in summer for a cool dip. Our room had a great deck/balcony (10' x 13') to sit out on. Love the little touches, such as coffee & cookies; apples & granola bars in reception. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Like other hotels in Whistler it is starting to look tired, due to age, use and is in need of upgrades. The $20 parking fee is annoying. The hot tub (spa) seats just two people comfortably.
Location. Nice staff. Great pool and hot tub.
Maid forgot to clean our room. After a long day in the mountains we came home to an untouched room. They could not do anything about it as the maid service had gone home. They refunded our parking fees... they did try to do something to make it better. Accidents happen. We were fine in the end. Walking in front of the restaurant for the pool is kinda weird.
Very attentive staff & the morning granola bars & afternoon cookies were a treat!
The floor in the room was dusty & the bathroom tile needed to be bleached, it showed some soil/stain build-up
- Very nice, comfortable boutique hotel. Very clean and inviting. Loved the complimentary cookies (get them while they last!) and I really appreciated the water they provided in the lobby. - Perfect location in the middle of Whistler Village stroll. - Stone's Edge restaurant which is a lovely place to eat (I only had breakfast there) is attached and accessible from the hotel.
- I stayed in room 311. The window faces into Village stroll so all the noise from the bars and restaurants is very well heard at night when you're trying to sleep. Although extremely disturbing, I found 2 pairs of ear plugs in my room provided by Adara Hotel. So they are obviously aware of the noise issue that they can't control and are rectifying the situation as best as possible. I used the ear plugs they gave me. - I didn't like the dark looking hallways. - I didn't like the mess from the water in the stand up shower (design flaw) although the shower is ultra modern and very clean.
Loved the decor of the room, and definitely the location.
Didn't like how thin the walls were, you could hear a lot.
Where can we start:). Location - ideal - quiet but close to centre of village. Modern and great colors for room furnishings. Welcome modern entrance. All staff pleasant and helpful.Need more coffee - no issue for Cody. Enjoyed meeting the Manager. A people person and proud of his hotel and staff. Detect good staff morale. Fab bed. Great views Nice touch with the complimentary snacks and fruit at reception. Appreciated the fridge and microwave and being able to make tea and coffee. In summary 2 nights 3 days was too brief. Keep up the good work. Regards David and Linda Soulsby - New Zealand
Very unusual for us to have no "negatives" or improvements
Great location with excellent help from front desk. The Whistler guide from the information centre was excellent.
Paying to park your car!
Almost everything was great.
Gabage in a dustbin in the bathroom wasn't removed.
Great hotel, surpassed expectations.... Powerful shower with nice toiletries.. And bathrobes. Massive king sized bed... Very comfortable stay! Complimentary apples and granola bars at reception. The woman who gave us back our car from valet parking left us a complimentary bottle of water in our car.... Nice!
No bath tub REALLY loud air conditioning that cut out every hour (reason for the bedside earplugs, I guess) Exploding wall plug! Hotel is starting to show its age
the staff, the immediate fix of the shower handle
The $20 valet service just to park my car kind of took me by surprise. and they wouldn't let me do it. I noticed the valet service didn't park the motorcycles. I have a Corvette. I'm kind of a nervous guy. Had a couple of negative experiences in the past with car jockeys, so I'm easily spooked.
Value cleanliness comfortable bed very accommodating and friendly staff Bike Storage Room with work-stand cookies in the lobby
Noise from the bars and open areas in the village was quite loud and made it hard to sleep.
Very friendly helpful staff, sweet golden retriever, yummy cookies and granola bars, coffee, super location (wasn't noisy on top floor loft suite), trendy decor, mountain view, good in room adjustable a/c, in room safe, convenient bike storage, valet parking cheaper and faster than most hotel's self park
Dark hallways, hot slow elevator, lack of dishes in suite (although there was a small assortment in a cupboard in lobby), no laundry facilities
Great location great room
Miscommunication with booking.com charged me extra and different from but was fixed when confronted.
The staff made our day by helping to put a spare tire on our car and then taking the car to have the main tire repaired and put back on. We were able to ride the lifts and hike as planned and not worry. Now that is service! Guests are in good hands here. Fruit and Snacks in the lobby, a great balcony ...
Of our 8 days of travel, our stay at the Adara was by far the best. Overall service, cleanliness and hospitality was exceptional.
The rooms could use a little FF&E spent but nothing major.
