The warmth and comfortable-ness of the suite
Expected a full breakfast received only a continental but survived nonetheless.
Large suite with comfortable beds, nice kitchen, comfortable living room. Excellent location. Owner friendly with great information.
Spacious suite in a lovely century home.
A very very small point but the breakfast part should include individual coffee packets to ensure freshness for the coffee maker.
Hearty breakfast every morning, a helpful but unobtrusive host, a round parlor in a turret with 10 windows, loads of space and a vintage globe from circa 1950 as part of décor.
A delightful B&B. We had apartment on top floor - very comfortable. Its in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood, just a 15 minute walk to downtown, partly along the Avon River. Host Terry Fowler was most helpful and friendly. Great breakfast!
everything BREVITY IS THE SOUL OF WIT after all this is STRATFORD
We liked the fact that we had the option of making meals and the living and bedroom space was great
It would have been nice to have been nearer the theaters, but we got along fine with parking if you go early enough.
The facilities and the hosts of the B&B, and its location within a scenic walk to a most congenial town, which abounded in small and interesting bookstores and shops, non-chain eateries and coffee-shops, two small, independent food-stores, one featuring local and Ontario products and delicious wholesome breads, the other offering the staples of a "health-food store". In short, a little something for everyone and a whole lot for the two of us.
I told Terry I would give him a great review. Loved the fluffy towels. Welcome Pool without endless nattering rules Baked French toast A chance to take my kids to their first B & B and have them love it My daughter always wanted to be in a house with a turret! Oh and the nightlight in the bathroom. Says they care.
Terry was the perfect host! He answered all our questions at breakfast each morning, gave us great suggestions, and went the extra mile to help us solve a problem that came up. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, which was spacious and clean, and everything in the suite was in working order.
The owner Terry was very social and he gave us two very good recommendations for restaurants
Breakfast was excellent Suite was large bright and well appointed
Lovely old home with well-appointed, separate apartments. We appreciated the space, the separate bedrooms with their own a/c units. Thanks to the host for the hospitality.
Spacious suite with all amenities. Suitable for a multi-day stay.
On the outer range of walking distance to the Festival Theatre especially after an evening show.
Spacious, well-furnished rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Owner very personable and helpful. Lovely neighborhood. We'd definitely come here again!
WiFi service sketchy --- in and out. The owners said this was not usual and they were attempting to get it fixed.
We loved everything about this Bed and Breakfast!! From the moment we got there we felt special.. The home was beautiful, and our suite was private, clean and very spacious. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning, had an outstanding breakfast in the main dining room, enjoyed the pool which we had to ourselves. I could not have asked for a better time and would recommend this highly to anyone coming to Stratford. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
Have no complaints about anything.
Helpful and informative staff
Distance from downtown
We, as a group of four friends, enjoyed the private living area in the 2 bedroom suite.
The location is superb -- a beautiful neighborhood not far from the downtown, and a short drive to the Festival Theatre. The B&B has parking. The room we had was an apartment, with a clean bathroom and comfortable beds.
We liked the comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitchen, the large windows which let in a lot of light, the fireplace, spa tub. We felt like we were in England! Had a great time shopping and eating out.
Would have liked to be a bit closer to downtown. While a couple of liked the walk, others could not to it. We came in March so there was no communal breakfast, just muffins, yogurt and coffee.
The location, although a drive away from downtown, was great for a winter stay - in the snow it looked magical. The apartment was very spacious and warm. Both beds were vast and comfortable. It could easily accommodate two couples. Stairs, like most B&Bs, could be an issue for some. The apartment we had was on the 1st floor (Canadian 2nd floor). Plenty of parking spaces are also available.
Nothing really - the stairs are always an issue with B&Bs so don't bring huge suitcases.
This stay was a lovely and comfortable treat!
Everything. We had a great holiday with our families in Stratford but did not have to put anyone to extra work. Location is excellent, we could walk everywhere. Also nice to have the separate entrance.
