Albert at Bay Suite Hotel  

The staff within the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel were superb. Whether asking the housekeeper for some extra decafe coffee or requesting an early chck-in and late check-out the customer service was always there. The very reasonably priced parking is very convienently located directly under the hotel with the elevator going up to your floor, no needless lobby transfer. For business reasons, my wife and I were in "The Sheraton" before our romantic weekend in the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel and went to "The Weston" on monday. Three hotels one weekend! The customer service in Albert at Bay Suite Hotel matched or exceeded that at the other two hotels. Without a doubt a terrific value for a huge space, right in downtown, practically on Sparks Street, minutes from the Parliament Buildings and the rest of Ottawa's sights. There is one hotel on our list of places to return to in Ottawa - Albert at Bay Suite Hotel!

Too many parked vehicles are allowed to block the fire lane on friday and saturday nights.

The street side room is too noise !

Wow!! Room size is more an appartment size. Imagine a massive 3 1/2 appartment well that is the suite size. Full kitchen, large size kitchen table, super large family room!! I felt like owning my own appart downtown Ottawa. I will stay again for sure... It's a gem!!!

A very nice suite hotel at an affordable price..

The HUGE deluxe one-bedroom suite. I love having a whole apt when I travel, and this was by far the best suite hotel I've ever stayed in.

One quibble: like many hotels, you have a very progressive policy on environmental matters, but the cleaning staff do not abide by them. My chambermaid took away a towel that I had left hanging on the shower rail, and gave me new boxed soaps during my stay-not necessary! Oh, also: the kitchen has almost NO electrical outlets, which an electrician could fix. But this is a super hotel, and, given the deal I got, great value for money.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable and bordered on luxurious. The linens were top notch. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I was very pleasantly surprised. The parking garage is horrible but it is a small price to pay

The ammenities of the room, the cleanliness, the newnest even though the hotel was not new. The tvs were awesome! The bed was comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. This hotel appears to be a refurnished apartment building so the rooms had a kitchen, dining room, living room, balcony and good sized washroom and bedroom. Very comfortable indeed. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay perfect. To top it all off, we got a great rate. Will definitely return to Albert Suites.

The area is on the edge of the city core and a bit of a walk to sites and attractions. Although surroending buildings are quite dated, the area is safe.

Good place to stay

It was spacious...nice decor....very comfortable beds and pillows. Enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Will definitely return. Good value.

The cleanliness, size of the room, comfortable. We didn't stay long enough to take advantage of all the services of the hotel.

Location. Taseful decor.

No hot water on the last day. No effort to compensate us for it.
