Albert at Bay Suite Hotel  

The staff within the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel were superb. Whether asking the housekeeper for some extra decafe coffee or requesting an early chck-in and late check-out the customer service was always there. The very reasonably priced parking is very convienently located directly under the hotel with the elevator going up to your floor, no needless lobby transfer. For business reasons, my wife and I were in "The Sheraton" before our romantic weekend in the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel and went to "The Weston" on monday. Three hotels one weekend! The customer service in Albert at Bay Suite Hotel matched or exceeded that at the other two hotels. Without a doubt a terrific value for a huge space, right in downtown, practically on Sparks Street, minutes from the Parliament Buildings and the rest of Ottawa's sights. There is one hotel on our list of places to return to in Ottawa - Albert at Bay Suite Hotel!

Too many parked vehicles are allowed to block the fire lane on friday and saturday nights.

This hotel is a hiden treasure....it's a five standard. The minute you walk into your room you'll know why the have an elephant in the promo...

Nothing at all.....every thing was perfect.

One of the best hotels I have ever experienced in terms of room, equipment and service (I travel 20 times a year worlwide). The room is extremely large like an apartment and even has two bothrooms, one of which is equipped with a large bathtub. Very quiet and nice to work as well as to rest. I also liked the kitchen.

The rooms were very big. Beds were comfortable and was cheaper then a lot of smaller rooms.

Expensive parking, $20 a night

The room was big and convenient. The front desk staff were exceptional, especially Bernadette March (not sure if name is correct).

Carpets could be updated.

Very spacious, newly renovated, very well appointed, luxury triple sheeting with down duvet and pillow selection. Very clean. Staff was very helpful and maintenance came immediately when toilet needed some assistance.

Loved the sized and cleanliness of the suites. The location was excellent for us.

The parking garage can be a bit difficult to manoevre in when it gets busy. Can be difficult to find a spot, especially if you have any mobility issues.

Its one of the best suite hotel in Ottawa. We enjoyed the stay in the suite and we felt very homely.

The suite was really spacious, clean and relaxing. The room layout is perfect. The bed and pillows are so comfortable that we did not want to get out of bed, lol. The TVs are great, kitchen is marvelous Superb stay. Definitely we will stay at this hotel again when we go to Ottawa.

What we did not like is that we had to tell the receptionist that our room has not been cleaned yet at 5:00pm. But it was attended immediately though. Thanks.

We were highly impressed with the size of our suite and the comfort of the bed. The suite was a pleasant surprise by being huge with a full kitchen and tons of space - like a complete one-bedroom apartment, complete with 2 TVs! The bed was extremely comfortable and quiet, giving us a wonderful night's sleep. Superb location!! We were walking distance to Parliament Hill and other sights. The Santa Claus parade took place just 2 blocks away. We walked to our favourite restaurant, Baton Rouge. The hotel was quiet and the staff were really nice. No complaints!!!

This isn't really a complaint, but the carpets and hallways looked a bit tired and in need of a good cleaning and some repair work (chips on wall/floor trim, walls scratched, etc). We were also a bit creeped out by the underground parking garage. Even the signs that kept reminding us we were constantly being watched by closed-circuit tv didn't make us feel secure. Maybe better lighting would help make patrons feel more comfortable.

We found Albert at Bay to be a friendly atmosphere.. We were fortunate to be upgraded upon arrival,, welcoming and helpful staff. Good location in down town.

Only issue is tight parking arrangements- we drive a mini van and could not fit in some spots.
