Location is great and close to Subway Station. Staff are warm who try to help guests.
Absolutely everything! Great stay, very friendly and helpful man at front desk who made me feel very welcome. For the facilities, I honestly can't believe this is a hostel. It's certainly on the high end of the scale. Bathrooms were always clean and tidy and the whole place cosy and warm! I paid a few more dollars for an upgrade to a twin private room which was entirely worth it. Location is good too. Not far from Sherbourne subway station so you can easily get downtown. I highly recommend this place and shall return on my future visits to Toronto.
The bed was uncomfortable, feels like wasn't clean enough.
location was great. easy walk to main subway stations
-my bed mattress was indented in but you get what you pay for - lockers didn't include locks. Bring your own pad lock if you want to lock up your stuff!
Everything was very good.
Wi-Fi on the top floor wasn´t good.
clean, warm, good stuff
Have to wait in line to go to washroom
Good location - only a 2 min walk from the nearest metro station, and close to taxi ranks. For $35 a night, not too expensive either, considering how close you are to the CBD. If all you want is somewhere to sleep, then this will do. Nice and clean.
WiFi was an absolute joke, unless you sat in the lobby it wouldn't work, and when it did it would be incredibly slow. The room is the size of a shoebox, mostly taken up by the bed, which had the world's worst matress and pillow.
Location was awesome, right near a subway station and close to shops and supermarkets, Kitchen is as good as at home with oven, huge fridge and heaps of pots and pans.
Our bed was very very soft, the double bed room we had was only just big enough for us to to fit in with our luggage.
staff was friendly and helpful
Great location - close to subway, night bus shuttle (3 CAD only) to the airport just behind the corner. Clean washrooms, very good common room, new kitchens. Very quiet.
My room was very small but OK.
location is good, place well kept, quiet, everything considered, good buy for the price
bed mattress was very uncomfortable (bad support, caving in the middle), single room is definitely too small (very little place to manoeuvre), no desk in the room (forced to use lamp desk as working desk)
Pretty much everything, nice place, very clean and well looked after, good ambience and staff.
No lift, there are only a couple of floors but if you've a lot of luggage it might be an issue. Some other residents on the top floor were talking a bit loud in the kitchen at night.
the structure of beds in domitory can be improved..
The staff was very friendly
Excellent location within 10 minute walk of the corner of Bloor and Yonge - only a 2 minute walk to subway. Good rate on parking through the All Days Hostel ($25 street parking permit for two nights stay). Clean shared bathroom on 2nd floor where I stayed. Clean sheets and clean shared kitchens and living room areas. Free Wifi. Friendly staff and walking map handout of downtown area at the front desk. Can store valuables in a locker if you bring your own lock. Felt safe walking at night (out until 11pm). Other guests at the hostel were respectful and quiet after 11pm.
I had a very small room where I had the lower bunk (cheapest price)- was offered an upgrade for more $ but I declined due to budgetary concerns. The mattress on the bunk is like camping - only a few inches thick with a solid board under it - I was okay with this but I know many who would not be. Don't know how two women could get two large suitcases into that limited floor space in the room...some wall shelves or chair or something to put your suitcase on would add to use of space. Must read sign (in english) at the outside intercom to be able to successfully contact the front desk staff (not always on site to answer a knock on the always-locked door) so one uses the phone on outside wall - a security code will be needed for entry to the front desk. I brought earplugs because I had expected to share the bunk bed dorm room - but thankful to have them for blocking out the regular low rumble of the subway.
Intimate with ample washrooms available. Great kitchen and shared facilities.
The TV didn't have a great reception or program choice.
climatization in room
not a lot of place in room
Location was a bit far from main part of city but worth it Metro stop questionable just use main exit so no creepy back alleys are used
The walking tour of the plateau area was excellent. H was jovial and funny along the way.
Not enough of these kinds of tours.. Knowledge of some of the landmarks lacking so swatting up would improve the tours
What I liked was that there were so many guests in the Hostel yet there was so much Quiet and Privacy.Every guest did their own thing with respect for one another. I liked the shopping Mall located almost opposite the Hostel. You could get virtually everything you needed from Bank (cash point) to food to clothing. Will definitely recommend to Friends.
The computer was slow and old fashioned with a lot of Virus.
Everything was fine we went on one of the busiest weekend
Hotel is clean and the kitchen has basic kitchenware. WiFi is stable.
We ordered twin bed room, but he gave me single bed which is tooooo small. Besides that the room is just next to the kitchen. Many people come and talk loudly in the morning and at night.
