Great View, plenty of food near by to go to or have delivered. Breakfast is amazing!
GPS couldn't get us to the home!
First night in Canada we could not have had a better start room, breakfast and owners superb
we arrived to this quiet house and got all the first flour to ourselves. It included kitchen leaving room 2 bathroom a spa and backyard bordering the Bow river. The owner were good and prepare very nice and tasty breakfast on the time we requested. Would recommend it for short or long stay. One of the best value for your money.
Can't say enough good things about this B&B. Location, ambiance, design, breakfast, and the owners were all wonderful. Easy access to Banff and all major parts of the city. The backyard is BEAUTIFUL, especially at night with the outdoor lights all on. Stay here and enjoy~
Friendly home. Great breakfast. Right on the river front. Activity room with pool table. Use of kitchenette.
Small room and bathroom.
The breakfast was wonderful, including homemade jam! The bed was very comfortable.
The bedroom was in the basement and very small. The bathroom was even smaller...only room for one person to stand in there. The surrounding area was quite cluttered. We like to eat at bed and breakfasts to meet other travelers, but we were told that we would eat downstairs, and the other guest would be eating upstairs.
Wow what an amazing B&B - so quiet beautiful and elegant with SO many personal touches and all over looking the Bow River. Not far from the city center - visit Calgary Tower, the views will amaze you!! Our room "King Room" was more like an upmarket HOTEL - lacking NOTHING! Our hosts, Merril and Dianne, were wonderfully warm, generous, informative, helpful and SO interesting. Merril told us the restaurants within easy walking distance and the others a bit further afield. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Wished we stayed longer.
Nothing NOT to like!
comfortable and relaxing
Made is feel at home very laid back spent or 2 year anniversary and will go back
The location, right on the river. Great views, placid setting, fantastic breakfast! Location like an oasis, not far from the center of the city, but quiet, calm, and well run. Great hosts, very interesting collections, beautiful place. Wish we could have stayed longer. I'd go back there in a micro-second! Ed and Masako
Not a thing.
Spacious and extremely well appointed room -- better than most luxury hotels. Combine this with access to a nice deck overlooking the bow river and a killer breakfast for a really memorable stay.
Only second time using a bed and breakfast as sometimes privacy an issue Beautiful quiet room tastefully decorated and a spa in the room spacious and comfortable . Access to books and music in the room quality breakfast with enough privacy for a bed and breakfast with flexibility on breakfast times close to university for business and shops with good range and pleasant surroundings for food options helpful /friendly manner of owners- enjoyed chat on australia and travelling definitely recommend the largest option of room choice nice view for breakfast with a generous balcony easy location after drive from Vancouver rated high for cleanliness and generous options on tea/coffee good wi fi and television reception
The owners were more than kind and made great effords to make visitors a pleasant stay. The deminished garden still was a good place to be....the sounds of the floating river are a joy to experience.....the breakfast is outragious....
Should we dislike something? We didn't.....
Super big King room
A bit hard to find
Very quirky B & B. the breakfast was great. Suited us very well as we were wanting a stopover for 1 night before we picked up an RV.
No complaints at all. We will be back.
Breakfast. And they are very accommodating. For the price, we will certainly be back despite what we didn't like.
After a high river a year ago they lost a lot of their land including the deck but they still have the pictures on their website showing the beautiful view and deck overlooking the river. One of the reasons we booked there was for the hot tub which wasn't working
The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. King room was fantastic
The atmosphere of the accommodation was incredible! Comfortable, homey, relaxing. What a breakfast! !!!! Just fabulous.
Room was beautiful, breakfast ultimate in food and presentation. Setting on river also restful.
Location, close to Olympic Park, the owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
The place was a little too cluttered for my liking. There was no access to the river due to last years flood. I missed a hairdryer ( minor )
I loved the bed - very comfortable. I also enjoyed the variety of bath and body products available to choose from. Good breakfast and an area to sit and read or play pool or watch TV. My room had a full bath right in the room which I found very private and convenient. Highly recommend!!
A little tricky to find as it's on a one-way street.
This was the best place I've ever stayed! We did stay in the nicest room in the house, but it was completely worth it. I loved the atmosphere, the jacuzzi tub, the food was amazing, and I loved having my own little coffee/tea bar right outside of the room. The couple is pretty adorable! Our stay was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Calgary (or even just to take a break if you're passing through).
Nothing really, but for a young couple; the far side of the house with the pool table and extra amenities was closed rather early. I would have like to get a DVD after 8 at night, but oh well. I would still stay again!
We loved our first experience at a bed and breakfast! It was cozy and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!!
