Staff very helpful, location great,warm,comfortable,
Really nice living area. Good kitchen. Very central.
Beds were just awful, hard as a rock. And no control over heat, place was roasting.
Location Size of room/suite Friendly staff
Needed a better ironing board
The area and suit were great, great location and clean, awesome gym and pool.
The staff were rude to us upon arrival and not very friendly or accommodating. It needs to be made clear on the website that guests at this location must be 25 or older, an email or tick box would be ideal. We paid and arrived before finding this out and ended up paying extra for a smaller room (witch would be fine, our mistake not reading everything, but they were extreamly unhelpful and rude to us during this fairly minor complication).
You can use a kitchen Location is good in Whistler village and WiFi is fast~*^^*
They give me a error room number.....
room advertised as queen studio, yet only had a double bed. People using the hot tub and yelling at 1:30 AM, could not sleep, very disappointed.
Good space, comfy bed and pull out sofa bed, big fridge, nice shower, quiet location
Poor heat on the hob, few dirty areas but overall ok, pool and jacuzzi is basic,
Room was clean, had TV, kitchen facilities, small balcony overlooking pool (and trees, so many trees), good location and generally quiet at night.
The alleged 'fitness facilities' was poor. A squeaky cross-trainer and a bike. Old school weight machine and that was it. Disappointed with the view, bearing in mind the Hotel promote their views as a selling point which is completely false. I love trees but that's all I could see, would've been great to see the mountains from the balcony.
couldnt get into underground parking and no one at front desk to help had to go to underground parking to let my wife in to park twice in one day. deposit policy was a joke wanted to use cash for deposit so they decided it would be double than if i used credit card.
Only the lady that was cleaning the entrance and had to do reception which somehow doesn't exist as the alpenglow tries to make maximum money with zero employees
The beds are a horror. Cheap as it can be pull outs. Redicilous for people like us. The whole place Stanley like old food. The room stank from old cigarette smell. We should have gotten reimbursed but they didn't even answer our phone calls Valuable photos were left behind by accident and we were told they were not found. Of course they were thrown away. The poorest service ever.
Staff were good and just everything was ok
Noisey trucks delivering to the shops at 6.30
good location, pool/tub and gym were nice, studio suite was pretty good, quite (October stay)
fire place did not work, check out at 10am
Our room was so small. our bed was a sofa which we had to pack away each day and put extra doonas on it to make it comfortable. they had a fold out wall bed also, but you couldn't walk through the room to the bath room. very poor layout and design
The Alpenglow is central to an incredible number of shops and restaurants.
It was advertised as non-smoking, yet we observed the following issues: (1) cigarette smoke from adjacent balconies filling our room (preventing us from being able to enjoy fresh air), (2) hundreds of cigarette butts in space next to our balconies (their non-smoking policy obviously has had little enforcement), (3) cigarette ash falling onto our balcony table from the upper units. (We have photos of the latter two of these.) We received no response to our email inquiries from Alpenglow.
