Locking my keys in the trunk!

the trees that are planted in the middle of the street and along the railyard take away the charm of the town. they are also A hazard when crossing the street. the trees add nothing to the town but take away the beauty of the town. this makes my 8th visit to the town of jasper. this year the visit was not the same due to the trees. I was planning on returning in 2014, but now not sure.

Location Room was large.

Carpet needed to be cleaned No fan or window in bathroom.

Clean room. View on mountain. Helpful staff.

Sound isolation from street not good. Very small bathroom. I think a bit overpriced for what you get in return, if I compare with similar stays at different places in the Rockies.

Old - sinks need replacing, elevator needs replacing - parking is at a minimum

It was a very pleasant but short stay. I will return & be happy to stay at this hotel

I greatly appreciated your agent's efforts to change my reservation at the last minute when I realized I had reserved the wrong day; and nicole at the hotel for approving the change with no charge. Both very much appreciated.

Rooms were clean and basic needs were met.

Parking seems to be an issue. If there is not enough room in the small parking lots you have to park on the street.

The room was great. Anthony's restaurant was excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Great location.

I like the mgr who accomodated any changes quite readily , and offered to shuttle me around in their van, to the other lodges. the food! waiters!

Not sound proof at all. A lot of young people partying. Staff doesn't seem concerned about keeping noise down.

The online booking service said the room had a fridge. When that was not the case, the manager had one delivered immediately. The restaurant was good. Great service. Also apprciated that your Internet provider did not require repeated logins. That gets very tiresome.

I was a little taken aback that the bed was never made, nor the carpet vacuumed the first day, and that there was a hair on the shower wall that was there when I arrived and still there when I left. I wish there had been either a microwave or coffee available in the lobby in the morning.

the view of the mountains from my room window was excellent! the room was large for my needs , the restaurant was fantastic food. good price for what you get. front desk staff very helpful for me. Friendly mostly I liked the location, I walked to every destination and found it within range of my senior limits , it is lovely to be surrounded by mountains.

The bathroom door opened in to a small room just inches away from the toilet. And very tight space to step in and close the door to access the tub.

They sold lift tickets at the desk.

I was very disappointed with the Amethyst Lodge. They did not have enough parking for their guests, they did not have enough plug ins for the vehicles, they did Not honor my ama for any discount because I booked online, in fact because I could not plug my vehicle in and couldnt find parking I had to call ama to boost my vehicle. Usually in a standard room you get two queen sized beds our room had two double sized beds. We had to pay more than what was quoted online when I booked and the room was small and smelled very strongly like their laundry cleaner. I would not go back and would not recommend.

the staff is very friendly and competent. it is clean and tidy with new upgrades! the price is in A good range.

good place to stay.

Location, food, inexpensive, food, and more food. Restaurant breakfast buffets and Thanksgiving buffet were excellent, as were the dining room staff (from Ukraine, Phillipines, Thailand, and Australia). The room was just a room, but more than adequate for the unpretentious!! There wer no obnoxious people staying there on Thanksgiving weekend! I'm sure ski season is considerably different.

Parking is limited, but not a problem at this time of year. fellow travellers in limited mobility room didn't think much of the bathtub/shower set-up. Soap dispensers required a fair bit of hand strength - also a problem for them. Perhaps it is time to revisit the design. Rm 109 was in a good location for them. Although I liked the bathtub dispensers, they aren't any good if you opt for a bath, not a shower, and I think the temptation to use them as levers will result in them being pulled out from their moorings very soon!
