Although it is supposed to be a non smoking unit, we could still smell tobacco in shower curtain etc... Carpet not well vaccumed especially along bed.
Quietness , clean , excellent quality service
Didn t have cont. breakfast
staff takes time to say hi-smile. Comfortable bed.
Could hear the person on second floor walking. Fortunately he/she went to bed early (around 9h30-10h00pm) so it wasn't too bad after all.
comfy bed nice big bath with water jets really clean plenty of space
blankets were way too hot even with ac on
Eric the front desk clerk was super. He was not only helpful with our room but also with our questions about visiting Quebec City.
The hotel is older but we upgraded to a suite and it was nice. The water temperature in the shower was hard to adjust but overall stay was good.
Big comfortable rooms Friendly staff New interior convenient location
Restaurants/stores not walkable
Staff was great good area close for supper or lunch
It was a rain day
We'll kept . Looked good and well maintained . Location is fine if you have a car . Price is high considering it is Motel . Would stay there again but would look for cheaper alternatives if possible.
Too expensive . These motels should be more than $80- $90 pee night
not worth the price.
Good for the price Good location
Room is dark: dark walls, poorly lit; room is smelly and needed to be vented out prior to being used; room needs to be renovated: grey tub & toilet, door knobs light fixtures from the 80's, old projection tv, metal key, chain security lock, old mattresses that are bumpy
Good beds and location !
The appalling smell in the room ! From the arrival day ( 4 juillet ) till leaving day ( 6 juillet ) . And , we also ask for help from the staff such as to try to open a little window... Unsatisfying response from owner/ manager we then had !!!! Do something with that atrocious smell !!!
Polite, freindly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable big king bed. Had all we needed, shower good, air con, hairdryer, fridge, and wifi excellent and quiet enough, didnt hear the traffic i room. Was a vending machine and tea coffee making facility in lobby. Had an external door so could get fresh air for the evening as was hot evening, blissful!
It wasnt a problem for us as we had a car but it is a little out of the city if you dont have a car.
It's a nice place that really worth he money. 20 minutes drive from Old Quebec, and that isn't bad at all if you compare the prices of the hotels in the city.
Location - close to airport Staff was very helpful, though obviously over worked
Upstairs occupants were very noisy, clumping around all night long
good price, clean room, staff is really nice and helpful. 10 minutes to downtown, good restaurant nearby, quiet hotel
The pics and description in advance are worse than the hotel is. It is really clean and more modern than I expected. The staff is really nice and helpful. The Hotel isn't close to the centre but we knew this in advance so it was no problem. With a car you are downtown in 10 minutes.
The room was clean and for the price acceptable.
The room needs renovation, old and bed not that comfortable
I stayed at this hotel for one night because I was leaving for Cuba that week. The hotel is offering the round-trip to the airport (Only 5 minutes from the hotel) and they can guard the car for the week too (They are keeping our keys at the desk for safety). The room was clean and the bed was big enough for me and my friend (It was a king bed!). The staff at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. I slept very well and couldn't hear a sound from the street or the other rooms. The microwave, fridge and free high speed internet was really appreciated. We didn’t want an expensive hotel, but we were looking for something near the airport and every hotel was expensive. I am very happy to have found this clean and quiet place to sleep. Also there are plenty of restaurants around the area to have a good breakfast in the morning. So, if you are searching for a good alternative for the expensive 4 stars hotels, I recommend you this hotel because we had a great stay for a low-priced!
Nothing, everything was perfect!
friendly knowledgeable staff
Filthy dirty hotel. Discusting stains on the bed and the spread. Disgusting stains and dirt all over furniture. Mold & mildew growth all over shower along with pubic hair . The curtains did not close with three 6" gaps that we had to use the horrible stained comforter to cover. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. We checked in after a 15 hr car ride had prepaid so had to stay that first night but checked out first thing the next morning. I sat in a chair all night rather than get into the filthy bed.
The hotel rooms are huge. Really comfortable and plenty of space. Everything looks new and clean. Also the staff was great. The man in the front desk was very kind and helped us a lot (his name was Eric). The price is affordable and also there is a Tim Hortons around 600 meters from the hotel.
The only problem I could find with this hotel is the location. If you have a car, than maybe this is not a problem for you. You can reach Old Quebec in around 20 minutes. But if you don't have a car, oh boy, then you are in trouble. The hotel is really far away from Old Quebec. You have to catch two buses to get there (takes around 50 minutes), and in the weekends, the stop times are by HOUR. So, if you miss the bus, you will have to wait another hour for the next one. This is not the hotel's fault, of course, but I just would like to advise people who doesn't have a car that you might find hard to reach the city by bus. But the good thing is, the buses in Quebec are free on Sundays. That was pretty cool and saved us some money.
the stuff was super friendly. told us where to have breakfast and lunch. Really clean room. Near to the city.
