The location was close to everything we needed.
They did not read our request before our arrival. We needed a room on the ground floor, didn't get it and did not realize I was there for 2 nights.
The location was perfect for us, restaurants were within walking distance, close to everything.
Only thing was there should be a runner or something as you come in, especially in the winter, you come in with snowy boots right unto the carpet.
The owners are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is extremely clean, and the facilities are great.
Could use a bit of an update.
I really enjoyed the cleanliness and the comfort of the bed.
The front end staff was not all that friendly. He called my room at 10:59 to see if I was leaving yet. I was rather shocked. I have travelled the world and never had that experience. They weren't busy. I said give me 15 minutes, there was no response. I was out of there in 10 minutes.
Everything about the room was terrific. The one thing that was the greatest impact however was the cleanliness of the room. The minute I walked in the door that was my first impression.
The only suggestion I could make is that maybe they might want to switch to 2 ply instead of almost no ply toilet paper.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff took care of our issue with noise from the room next to us immediately. If we are ever in another tournament in the area we will stay here again.
It was close to Borden.
I found the service was very rude and unfriendly. Our room had electrical problems. We had to unplug the heater in the room because we didn't feel safe leaving it on while we were away, not to mention it sparked every time we unplugged or plugged it. The plug itself was black.
+cost +staff +location
-wifi did not work
There aren't many options if you're looking at staying in Angus but based on reviews we chose this location. When we arrived the attendant working barely spoke to us and made us feel like we were an imposition. Not a place I would go back to.
Bathroom was very clean. Nice flat screen T.V. Excellent price.
A little too far from Barrie.
We asked for a quiet room and it was. We slept very well.
very clean, quite quiet
very few electrical plugs available for charging things as they were all full except the bathroom
Location and kitchenette
We went to Barrie for a night, and hadn't booked a room ahead of time. Everything in Barrie was booked and this was all that's left. We usually don't go anywhere less than 3 stars, and thought it would be a sketchy place, but we didn't have a choice. It was this or sleeping in the car lol. We were very surprised at the cleanliness of room and bathroom. The building looks a bit old from outside, but we were very comfortable in the room. for $79 thay we paid it was really worth the price.
there was no tooth paste / tooth brush for purchase at reception. this is a cheap move by hotel staff... if you are not going to give it for free, you should at least have it available for an amount.
I have allergies to perfumes and chemicals - their cleaning staff persists in using strong chemicals to clean with necessitating use of allergy medication during my entire stay - had to leave windows open all the time. In winter I would not be able to stay there.
Staff was veryhelpful everything clean kitchen was good beds comfortable close to stores and resteraunts
The motel room was very clean and very well equipped. The water pressure was terrific and we could not hear our neighbours. Overall we enjoyed this room very much and would recommend it.
The gentleman at the front desk was not very friendly. The toilet paper was only one ply. This was a big disappoint and in strange contradiction to the rest of the room supplies.
The room was very clean. Not a lot of traffic noise. Good bed.
There was some interruptive voices from the next room. Probably because of the fact that there was a connecting door to the other room. Might not be a problem with rooms with no connecting door.
We asked - and used their internet to find another motel.
I booked through internet (booking.com) and got a confirmation e- mail. When we arrived about two hours later, they had just sold the last room. They said they had no e-mail or papers from booking.com with our names on. Luckily we found a very nice motel in another town half an hour away.
Facilities. Outdoor Pool and Hot-Pool. Good Location.
Bed-Covered Sheets with blood-spots - may be due to "bed-bugs". Unfortunate.
Clean and comfortable! Free parking! Flexible check in time! We all loved the restaurant, Crabby Joe's, across the street. Convenient and food and staff were fantastic!
Location! Not much to do in Angus and a little too far from Barrie!
The pool, spa, & the kitchenette with full appliances, even coffee filters! Great full
Lacking cleanliness around the kitchen behind stove, full of dust.
No ice machine
Hotel was adequate for my short stay
soaps and cream was a nice touch. fridge to store our food for the night. staff was friendly. close to eating areas.
