It was close to things we liked, and the toilet worked, though the sink was cracked in two places.
Very, very small. TV stopped working, no help from staff. Telephone would not work. Was told by staff I had till 9 AM to move my car - wrong! I got an $86 ticket. Lost my 10 percent discount because I apparently booked through an agency, but I had really talked to a desk person over the phone. "Breakfast included" was laughable - two croissants in a bag.
Location was good. Metro close as were many restaurants.
Murphy bed and noise from club below that kept us awake until 3AM or so.
+ Great location + Clean hotel with an overall nice ambience (European feel) + At least they gave us a refund on the second day that we had reserved.
- Beds are very uncomfortable (woke up with back pain) - We got the room overlooking St. Dennis. Lots of noise. - Unable to close blinds fully
Room was great, balconies in the shade for a drink, restaurants, coffee shops, Mt. Royal - and rental bikes - all right at hand.
Located in the heart of Montreal, beautiful building inside and outside. You have a small kitchen and the bed is convertible into a dining table. Big tall windows facing the street.
We could not turn off the (centralized) A/C which was very noisy and too strong. In fact we could not sleep because of it. Room kinda small.
Excellent location in interesting neighborhood, good restaurants, jazz club downstairs, 7 minutes to subway... Hotel people helpful and nice, and a croissant in the morning.
Location was awesome. Room was very clean!! A bit small but served the purpose.
No A/C in the room.
Location was great. Lots of restaurants close to subway. Staff very helpful. Room was very cel an but compact.
Stairs were a bit daunting for older people.
Good location and good value Staff very helpful and nice
I wish there was a small lotion bottle in the room like other hotels
The hotel is very well located for walking to many shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and clubs in the Plateau area of Montreal. Or within walking distance of both La Fontaine & Mont Royal Parks. Easy access to the metro system if you wish to travel nearer downtown. All in all a good experience and we would definitely go again.
In the centre of a very stylish part of Montreal. Each room was a miniature apartment with a small kitchen. Service on reception was great.
Air-con a bit noisy
Outstanding location. Fresh croissants delivered to your door in the morning.
Not well soundproofed; some noise from both inside the hotel and the street outside.
The location is excellent if you want to be away from the big hotels downtown.
The room was small but is equipped with a Murphy bed to make extra space during the day.
The location was great.
Murphy bed was comfortable but the room was very basic. Toilet flush was falling off. Facet in bathroom sink was loose and wobbly. Breakfast was very basic - croissant and a bottle of juice.
helpful and nice staff
some noise from machines in the middle of the night (air conditionned ? washing machine ?) the café filtre made with the cafe machine
Fabulous location in the city. Lovely place, nice rooms, delightful croissants in the morning.
Our Murphy bed was comfortable but there was no reading light. There was an overhead light but poor for reading. We appreciated the hotel letting us leave our bags in the office until later in the day.
Excellent location -- right on St Denis but very quiet inside. Friendly welcome. Kitchenette stocked with bottled water, juice, coffee, croissants delivered to the door in the morning. Nice outdoor space. Would stay there again.
Steep flight of stairs from the street wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues.
