Helpfull staff, and location was very good
Picture is better than the reality, very poor inside
Booked a 2 bed apartment but when we arrived there was also a 3 bed apartment available so we were given the choice of which we would like at no additional cost. 3 bed apartment was very spacious. Onsite parking.
Heating thermostat not within apartment. Building looked a little shabby from outside.
Spacious, full kitchen, GREAT location, on-demand TV, free unlimited wireless internet, laundry access if you are staying for more than a few days, owners were very kind, helpful, and nice people! Thank you!
No iron or ironing board. Beds are a bit hard.
Easy walk to all attractions. Good facilities including a car space. Excellent hosts who gave us lots of information on the places to visit.
You could walk everywhere from the apartment!! The apartment was basic but had everything we needed and the owner was delightful and very helpful. He recently bought the place and has plans for upgrades but we found the place fine just as it was.
It could be noisy at times but given all the benefits of the place, we managed that. Noisy came from late night walkers and possibly neighbors...not sure. The owner was working on WiFi while we were there and upgrading a somewhat uncomfortable mattress. But these were small matters given how much we loved the place and the convenience to everything.
People are kind Rooms are clean Location is good
Stove was bad
This is an excellent location if you are in Quebec City as a tourist. You can walk to restaurants, coffee and live music on Grand Allee or Avenue Cartier and can also walk to Vieux Quebec easily and shop, get a massage at Chateau Frontenac and wander around Petit champlain; This spot is also walking distance to the main art museum and a city garden is just around the corner. It is nice to have a full kitchen and this location is great!
The wifi did not work the first night as I was given the wrong code - I got that the next day and it worked fine; The stove was broken - since we were only making tea, we could use the microwave, which worked fine;
Location; helpful staff
Noise from other rooms, poor or no wi-fi connectivity, towels - provided only 3 for 5 night stay, there is NO service (trash removal, tower replacement, fixing bed, cleaning) - you are on your own!
-It was wonderful to have kitchen facilities, including a kitchen table and dining area, fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker etc. -The staff were very nice and recommended some places to visit and showed them to us on a map -Very close to restaurants and only a 5-10 minute walk to get inside the walls of old Quebec. - We loved the old windows, the exposed brick walls, and the little seating area in front of the window. My favourite place I have stayed so far!
- Although is it very minor in the grand scheme of things I would recommend installing a second mirror somewhere (perhaps the back of the bedroom door). The only mirror is in the bathroom and it is fairly small (both the mirror and the bathroom) so it was a minor inconvenience when getting ready to go out.
Location excellent. Spacious Very friendly helpful managers. Clean Very reasonable rate Well equipped kitchen
No WiFi even though advertised there was free available No Air Con - very warm inside apartment. Mattress hard for us
functional type hotel, the outside looked not as nice, but inside it's nicely renovated. The location is right off the end of Grand Allee est and close to restaurants. The parking spot was nice if you drive. Was great for young people and couples.
Kids were loud in the parking lot below and it didnt have as much old quebec charm as I was hoping.
The location is great. It's walking distance to the center of old city.
We loved the location of our apartment. The neighborhood had everything you needed. It was far enough from large crowds and a minute from the beautiful gardens of the Plains of Abraham. We had a wonderful time in Quebec and the apartment was the icing on the cake.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities and within walking distance to everything.
Noisy at night with people walking near the windows.
It was very convenient to my bus tour. The bus was only a few minutes away.
Their WiFi did not work but they really tried hard to fix it.
Very close to Grande Allee, where all the night restaurants are open. It is a antique type house and provides a lot of space for a good price.
The WiFi was a bit weak, but I'm sure most accommodations are that way.
The apartment is really well located, we could walk to the Old City very easily, the Plains of Abraham and La Citadelle are right there, and there are many restaurants around. The guy who gave us the keys was very nice and explained us about all the different places we could go.
The apartment was quite old, and one of the beds was broken. They didn't give us the code for the wifi.
The new owner was very friendly and accommodating. Apartment is spacious. The location is excellent for visiting the old city and very accessible by car.
Fantastic location Free parking Helpful staff
A downside to being so close to restaurants and bars, is it can be noisy at 'closing time' (i.e.. 3am)
Walking distance to the old town Parking space Cozy appt Friendly New mngmt Kitchen stuff all there
Bathroom can use an upgrade Somewhat noisy area (but goes with the excellent location)
There isn't a better location. Right next to the trendy bar area in Quebec City . 5-8 min walk into old town. Next to a beautiful park.Price is extremely reasonable for what you get. Free parking. Great facilities . A hotel with every thing you would need in a home.
We liked the close proximity of the parks and Old Town and the quiet at night. Great place to stay! Very clean and the landlords went out of their way to be helpful. Nice to have a parking place, too.
I can think of nothing that I didn't like. We would stay there again.
the location was great and fast to go to Old Quebec and everywhere around, also it was very private it was right next to a wonderful park where we could take our dog
the bed was so uncomfortable and the ceiling was very low so we kept bumping our heads on it also there was a lot of noise during the night it felt like we were sleeping in a big closet
This was a perfect, cozy, and historic apartment for my daughter, her husband, and myself to stay at while we explored Quebec City. A block to the first "olde" street, but away from the crowds. It had everything we needed. Noisy Saturday night with "stags" and "stagettes" a block or two away but this was of course no fault of the Riendeau Hotel! Why must some people be so obnoxious?? You're getting married; grow up and spare the rest of us your screaming party while we try to enjoy our evening and sleep. All in all, the accommodation at the Appart-Hotel Riendeau suited us perfectly and the price was right :)
Cute and simple house. Great location. Clean.
