If we had booked for only one night, we would have been out in the morning without ever coming back again. While we enjoyed the serene quite atmosphere from the outside, the one from the inside unfortunately cut our sleep and gave us a bitter taste in our mouths. The noise of the TV downstairs in the host's quarters kept us up til after 11pm and the two yuppy dogs got us out of bed at 7am! If you wanted to get a good night sleep, this one was cut short. After a little talk to the host though, the next night we slept very well! Also, we would have enjoyed a private bathroom way more then a shared one. And a buffet breakfast makes more sense to us. Tastes and amounts of food are different and we would have rather served ourselves.
This B&B is a welcoming homy country style residence on a beautiful peaceful ranch, away from the hustle and bustle of regular stressful city life. The hosts are a friendly husband and wife team willing to please their guests and make them feel at home.
The lady of the house made sure there were enough fresh towels in the bathroom and the bedroom, the kitchenette had supplies for a nice coffee break and the washrooms had everything a guest would need, from soap to a hairdryer. Her husband greeted the guests at breakfast with an apron on and a smile on his face. Breakfast was typical Canadian, bacon & eggs, hush browns, and the rest. I only missed my peanut butter!
