Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Checkin and check out were quick. We were up graded to a king suite. It was amazing. The nicest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. The room was clean the bed very comfortable. We attended a concert at Cowboys casino it was only a five minute walk from the hotel.
No free wifi in your room.
The renovations are awesome and the facilities met all of our needs, right down to the Valet guys :-)
Was a surprise because I wrote that reservation was for my birthday and I didn't revive any things from the Art hotel. Not even "Happy Birthday"
I booked our room through booking.com for a great price, we stayed in the Luxury Suite on the 10th floor. Gret view of the Calgary Tower and some of downtown, King size bed, big room, it was probably one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at a great price! We would definitely come back again on our next trip to Calgary.
The pool is outdoor only, not open during the winter. No hot tub.
I wasn't very happy about the person behind the counter. The rate online was 179 for the night and he tried to charge me 309 for one night.
Large clean room, friendly staff, good location.
We booked a Luxury King Suite which was recommended for 3 people. We expected a king bed and a pull-out sofa. When we arrived there was a king bed and a sofa, that did not pull out! We called the front desk who sent up a roll-out bed. I think the room description was mis-leading, when I pay that much for a luxury king suite I don't expect to have to sleep on a roll-out bed!
The location, the front lobby was comfortable and the restaurants.
Room was too dark and the heater was loud during the night and the surprise fee for internet and the price of parking.
Our view at night was beautiful! The rooms are very modern and comfortable. I felt like I was at a very high end hotel!
We had to upgrade because they were renovating which increased our price a lot. They told us we would get a soaker tub and other upgrades when our room just ended up being what we had a originally purchased. We stayed for a work function and thought staying the night would be fun, ended up costing more than anticipated. Also to park underground is an extra charge which is ridiculous it should be included. It's hard to get into the parking lot because of construction.
Room was great. Bed was awsome The location was perfect for a saddle dome concert.
The $10.00 parking fee that they tried to raise to $20.00. The bathroom door was glass which was fine but didn't close all the way.
I pick my hotels generally based on facilities I like, in close proximity to the business I'm there for. This absolutely met my criteria!
Raw bad was delicious - staff and menu were great. Hotel was clean
Our room was SO dark. Not enough light to get ready during the morning
The heater was very loud and came on every 10 mins or so and disrupted our sleep greatly.
Service, cleanliness, decor, comfort and restaurant exceeded my expectations.
We asked for a quiet room. The studio room we booked was at a quiet end of a hallway. The bed was very comfortable. Firm but not hard. The ambiance is really lovely. The art work is great. Very clean.
Had to pay for parking. But it is right downtown so that's how it is.
clean and comfortable with a nice balcony
The room was gorgeous and modern. Best hotel ive ever stayed at.
It could use a breakfast eatery though, that was the only downside but very minor!
Beds are really good
Doesn't have access to the rooms for families with strollers or wheelchairs. It also does not have free parking, free internet, free breakfast. Rooms don't have gears such as microwaves and hair dryers.
The staff was incredible! The hotel gorgeous (especially if you are an art lover)
Nothing! Loved everything!
The overall look of the hotel, especially the interior. The Yellow Door restaurant was awesome, food was great. Staff at front desk were great. Got a room upgrade when we checked in.
The bed was not comfortable. Party goers on the same floor made to much noise. Could hear them through our door.
Location was convenient.
Room was small and dark. The only mirror in the room was a tiny one in the bathroom which had extremely poor lighting.
Paying for parking an additional $20 added to the bill as a surpize when leaving
Noise and smell of paint
Staff great! Elevator broken during the stay and we were simply told to use the stairs. I was on the 21 floor - lucky I could do them!
They complimentary changed us to a better room on 8th floor which corrected all our concerns - I appreciated that and proved that their service is stellar.
Our first room on 2nd floor was dark, tiny, w/o bath and not comfortable - toilet area was so dark my wife could not see to apply her make up and there was no place to layout your toiletries and tooth brush!
Location was good, decor in lobby and common areas was interesting and quite unique. Restaurant and staff in restaurant particularly good.
