Friendly staff clean modern room
Needs free wifi
Great service -directions for a scenic walk to my intended destination complete with marked map.
Great staff, good location for our purposes, excellent dining, our room was clean and well kept.
Pass cards did not work well, often had to swipe multiple times.
I thought the decor was jazzy, appealing and current.
The floor plan from parkade to my room is pretty lengthy and inefficient. No free wi-fi in rooms. View of outdoor mechanical equipment--HVAC units.
Hotel Arts never seizes to impress me, guest services are courteous, helpful and patient with needy guests such as myself. Room service is fantastic, quick and very friendly as well as the Yellow Door Bistro, fantastic. The room is well appointed and the beds are ridiculously comfortable. Hotel arts is always keeping up with reno's and it shows with the edgy contemporary look they always achieve.
Free wifi for all guests would be beneficial and not a large expense for the hotel, however they do offer it under the room rate for guests that stay 5 nights a year.
Good size room Stylish decor Large bath Free Aveda toiletries Very comfortable bed Delicious breakfast buffet Very helpful and friendly team
No free wifi No indoor pool or spa
$22 parking/night $11 wifi/day
Location, parking and restaurant are great.
Hair on bedding and bath tub is definitely outdated.
From check in to check out we were made to feel very welcome. The bar was fantastic and we were very impressed with the knowledge of the professional staff. This is by far the nicest hotel we ever stayed at and will be back soon.
The heater in the room was noisey. Only complaint we have and it was a very minor inconvenience.
PAYING FOR INTERNET AND 22 FOR PARKING...
Very nice staff and very helpful
For what you pay for the rooms are garbage. No fridge. no chairs on the balcony. And the room was just poorly setup.
The beds were very comfy and the room was up to date and very clean
We decided to stay downtown as I was proposing to my girlfreind that night. The staff took care of us by doing the following: Upgraded our room for free Complimentary bottle of Purseco Staff was amazing and made our stay special. The room was amazing! Would stay here again in a heart beat!
Old room, only one night table, was not in new renovated room as we had booked with booking.com, heat wouldn't work, got help Still didn't work right, gave up on that , bathroom so small no room for your stuff. Had been in the past twice and loved it. Got new rooms then I guess
staff made it for us, very attentive
I liked good location and clean rooms. Also, the room was well equipped and decorated.
However, parking is rip off because they charge 22$ per day. I first parked next to the hotel building but they asked me to move to underground parking, which cost $5 and I should have paid $22. Also, I had a brunch and tried to escape the hotel within 24 hours, but I should have called them at gate: front desk response was so slow and I should have called two times while the other cars waiting behind us. Also, they charge $10 for internet although I didn't use it as well as there is charge for TV while TV doesn't let us watch any news etc. Also, the King Suite room doesn't have Jacuzzi which is unusual for the price of the room. Overall, it was rip-off.
location location location Great Food!
How dry the air in the room was Very poor lighting and no mirror for the wife to get ready with
Loved it for the most part. Friendly staff, beautiful decor and over the top comfy bed. Room service prices weren't too bad either.
There weren't enough towels, tissue or glasses. No coffee cups at all.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Checkin and check out were quick. We were up graded to a king suite. It was amazing. The nicest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. The room was clean the bed very comfortable. We attended a concert at Cowboys casino it was only a five minute walk from the hotel.
No free wifi in your room.
The renovations are awesome and the facilities met all of our needs, right down to the Valet guys :-)
Was a surprise because I wrote that reservation was for my birthday and I didn't revive any things from the Art hotel. Not even "Happy Birthday"
I booked our room through booking.com for a great price, we stayed in the Luxury Suite on the 10th floor. Gret view of the Calgary Tower and some of downtown, King size bed, big room, it was probably one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at a great price! We would definitely come back again on our next trip to Calgary.
The pool is outdoor only, not open during the winter. No hot tub.
I wasn't very happy about the person behind the counter. The rate online was 179 for the night and he tried to charge me 309 for one night.
Large clean room, friendly staff, good location.
We booked a Luxury King Suite which was recommended for 3 people. We expected a king bed and a pull-out sofa. When we arrived there was a king bed and a sofa, that did not pull out! We called the front desk who sent up a roll-out bed. I think the room description was mis-leading, when I pay that much for a luxury king suite I don't expect to have to sleep on a roll-out bed!
