Great location, very hospitable owners of hotel, delicious breakfast, special charm of Quebec
Everything is fine
The owner are two lovely and great hosts. I was the last guest of the season but they hosted my like the very first. The breakfast has been very very good, fresh, healthy and made with love.
The breakfasts, location, room, hot shower, very helpful and pleasant hosts. The breakfasts!!!!!!!!!!
Charming proprietors that treated us like family! Excellent breakfast from a truly accomplished cook - the fruit compote was to die for as was the conversation at the table! Location good, rooms comfy and a sitting area to relax & have drinks with friends. Hope to visit again in the future
Mireille is a charming hostess. We had a long chat when we arrived and she gave us some dinner recommendations. The room was very pleasant. It is a beautiful walk into town along the Plains of Abraham and the walls of the fort. We took Mireille's recommendation for dinner and had a memorable dining experience in the Old Town. We stayed the night of the Scottish referendum so we had a good debate over breakfast with the Quebecois about the result :-)
The Road works that made our journey back after dinner an assault course - should be finished by winter 2014.
Great breakfasts, interesting and helpful owners, comfortable bed. Easy walk in good weather to attractions.
Friendly atmosphere, very clean and beautiful house. The suite was fantastic - all you need. The very special breakfast including the setting of the table was memorable - first class. The owners very helpful and nice.
It's located in a very quiet area and the staff really provides a professional and a personal quality service. The treat you as a member of family. I loved my staying.
Nothing to say
Over 6 days we were able to see many major sights. Always using the bus or walking enjoyed many museums and historical sights. The city was awash with floral displays in public and private locations. Our hosts were more than gracious - they provided valuable information even making reservations for the river cruise and the Country Tour by bus. Oh, and they made dinner suggestions and reservations.
The hosts were especially helpful because we did not speak French. They went out out of their way to give us extra assistance. They even helped us order a pizza delivered when it was raining.
GREAT HOSTS, EXCELLENT LOCATION, EXCELLENT FOOD.....WHAT ELSE COUILD YOU ASK FOR?
Exclusion at breakfast where French-speaking guests and host conversed among themselves. No a/c in bedroom.
Clean comfortable rooms in old home in great location. Victorian decor. Excellent food, friendly and helpful host.
Couldn't open windows due to AC so a bit stuffy.
We loved everything in this place. It is clean, quiet and located very well. It took us 25 minutes to walk to the old city and 10 minutes to get back by bus. It is very close to Cartie street where all restaurants are (mostly visited by local people and not by tourists...) and to a beautiful park with impressive view to the river. We would also like to thank owners - Mireille and Serge - for their hospitality.
Spent five enjoyable days in the area. Naturally Old Quebec was the #1 attraction
Nothing the whole area make it a fantastic vacation
Everything from the greeting to breakfast and all of the help to find the most interesting things to do. The recommendations for places to eat and visit were great.
The charm of the place. Great advice from our host.
Small rooms, but who is planning to spent all their time in the room.
We loved the coziness of this particular stay--the room was decorated richly, with bright colors and whimsical touches. The sitting room down the hall was a peaceful way to begin or end the day, while the breakfasts prepared by Mireille were divine (think: homemade breads, frittata, and fresh fruit/cheese). The hosts spent lots of time chatting with us and gave us clear assistance in using the bus system (there's a stop right across the street to take you into Vieux-Quebec), and led us to some great restaurants as well! Overall, this was a pleasant stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. They even had a private cab driver take us to the airport on our last morning.
Late one night, some other guests were talking very loudly in the sitting room down the hall; it was hard to drown out their voices, given the proximity of all the bedrooms to this space. Fortunately, someone asked them to quiet down and all was well again.
Clean Free parking Great breakfast Nice owners
King bed was actually 2 single beds.
Very hospitable hosts.. Helped us with information on the bus system, suggested tours, etc. made our stay very comfortable. breakfasts were delicious..
the couple running the B and B were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was yummy and sitting everyone who was there around a bug table made it such a special occasion
having tea and coffee making facilities in the room would've been good
Great hosts, nice place and wonderful homemade breakfast. Located a bit outside Old Quebec (30 min walk) so it's pretty quiet at night. What more could you ask for?
Friendly helpful owners, lovely breakfast, nice location a bit outside the touristy areas but not too far to make it inconvenient.
Everything was very good. The rooms are a little worn, but clean, comfortable and good value.
Hosts were fascinating and friendly Facilities were clean and comfortable Food was delicious Location was perfect
