Ideal location on the slopes of blackcomb. Kitchen was fully supplied and the room was clean.
Pay for parking. Room was slightly outdated
ski in/ski out is always excellent
Ski in ski out Easy walk or tram to village Large room to relax in after long ski day Large hot tubs Free wifi with own router in each room Full sized kitchen and refrigerator Free ski vallet
The spa and all the support as well as the sport shop Summit
The washers are out of order
This is a true ski-in ski-out property, however there was not enough snow during our stay to do either. This is obviously not the properties fault. Although it is a little way from the Village, it has great bus connections to and from. Hot tubs were good.
My daughter and I were very disappointed that the pool was not working while we were there. Had we known that at booking time, we likely would not have chosen this property.
Pay parking for registered guests.
-location is very good -room is warm and quite comfortable -a lot of kitchen supplies
-when booked, it was 405 then a hidden resort fee was charged when we checked out. added to a total of 500... -not enough elevators -staff not very approachable and helpful, seemed to not care about guests -doesn't allow pets
Quiet...excellent staff, prompt response to problem with blinds.
Paying for parking. Owner's BBQ noise, crowd monopolising the pool area.
large and comfotable rooms, pool, hot tube
offers/contracts havn`t complied (free night when we are absent for a hiking trip), price changes every night, avoid the room above the gate of the parking lot, otherwise you can count the cars passing the gate
That there was no gym
it is in a very good spot easy to walk to the Village
There where not enough pans in the kitchen or knifes
Convenient location and nice interiors.
I thought having to pay for parking on top of the room charges was unfair and expensive.
The unit/condo was comfortable and clean. I would have picked a two bedroom unit for two adults and two kids for the number of days.
One TV in the unit. Parking is not included in your accommodation.
This is my third stay at The Aspens and each time it has been an excellent experience. The staff is friendly, the services are top notch, and the winter access to Blackcomb base is unbeatable for the price.
Wish it were a bit less expensive to park in the underground facilities.
Value was excellent. Very clean and location was good.
The check in person was rude, unhelpful and very unfriendly.
Loved the pool area. Our room was nice and comfortable. We really liked our stay Aspens and would come back for sure!
Very cute suite with a nice kitchen. Location is convenient. Only a 10 minute walk to Whistler Village.
condo style outdoor pool location bike storage
pay parking No air conditioning late checkin early checkout
Only 10 min walk to village but quiet. Spacious unit, very comfortable with large balcony.
It was quiet and relaxing being located in the upper village whereas village center was very noisy during the weekend. I visited in the summer but in the winter this location would be great. You can ski in or out because it's right next to the Blackcomb lift. I took the peak to peak gondola ;went up from the Whistler side and descended on the Blackcomb side after a long hike and hotel was right there!
Maybe it their policy but the hotel does not clean the room everyday. I only spent two nights so it was ok. The nearest market was very small and not well stocked .
Because we were on the ground floor, I was a little concerned about leaving the windows open at night, so it was warm and stuffy. I would have preferred windows that opened, but could not be crawled through.
The beds were too hard......
Good location with a short walk to the upper village and kids adventure zone. Just a few more minutes and you were at the main village. Could take our bikes right down the hill into all the great trails whistler has to offer. Pool was fun and clean for the kids. Rooms were well stocked and we didn't miss any needed item.
It was hot! No ac was less than ideal. The room had a fan but did little to help.
facilities were good. it had a outdoor pool and hot tub which was a nice feature. The room had everything you need, nothing too lush.
We've stayed at many hotels in or 5 years together as a couple. . And solo even more, however coming unto this hotel felt great. We got a warm welcome and the lady at the front was so helpful! I wish I remember her name. She made sure we got what we needed and wanted. The condos were clean and had everything you needed and wanted. Albiet the room was a tad dated.... it was great.
The only thing I can "complain" about is that there was no air conditioning. It was so so hot in the room. But there was a fan provided. Whistler accommodation predominantly hosts guests in the winter... so we understand why.
