This is my third stay at The Aspens and each time it has been an excellent experience. The staff is friendly, the services are top notch, and the winter access to Blackcomb base is unbeatable for the price.
Wish it were a bit less expensive to park in the underground facilities.
Value was excellent. Very clean and location was good.
The check in person was rude, unhelpful and very unfriendly.
Loved the pool area. Our room was nice and comfortable. We really liked our stay Aspens and would come back for sure!
Very cute suite with a nice kitchen. Location is convenient. Only a 10 minute walk to Whistler Village.
condo style outdoor pool location bike storage
pay parking No air conditioning late checkin early checkout
Only 10 min walk to village but quiet. Spacious unit, very comfortable with large balcony.
It was quiet and relaxing being located in the upper village whereas village center was very noisy during the weekend. I visited in the summer but in the winter this location would be great. You can ski in or out because it's right next to the Blackcomb lift. I took the peak to peak gondola ;went up from the Whistler side and descended on the Blackcomb side after a long hike and hotel was right there!
Maybe it their policy but the hotel does not clean the room everyday. I only spent two nights so it was ok. The nearest market was very small and not well stocked .
Because we were on the ground floor, I was a little concerned about leaving the windows open at night, so it was warm and stuffy. I would have preferred windows that opened, but could not be crawled through.
The beds were too hard......
Good location with a short walk to the upper village and kids adventure zone. Just a few more minutes and you were at the main village. Could take our bikes right down the hill into all the great trails whistler has to offer. Pool was fun and clean for the kids. Rooms were well stocked and we didn't miss any needed item.
It was hot! No ac was less than ideal. The room had a fan but did little to help.
facilities were good. it had a outdoor pool and hot tub which was a nice feature. The room had everything you need, nothing too lush.
We've stayed at many hotels in or 5 years together as a couple. . And solo even more, however coming unto this hotel felt great. We got a warm welcome and the lady at the front was so helpful! I wish I remember her name. She made sure we got what we needed and wanted. The condos were clean and had everything you needed and wanted. Albiet the room was a tad dated.... it was great.
The only thing I can "complain" about is that there was no air conditioning. It was so so hot in the room. But there was a fan provided. Whistler accommodation predominantly hosts guests in the winter... so we understand why.
Very quiet , beautiful treed area off the patio
Could use updating
Pool was a lovely way to end the day. Great kitchen and living space. Kids loved the super king sized bed. Easy walk to village.
Size of room, balcony, kitchen Cleanliness
There is no AC in the rooms
Price, location size of room Plenty of coffee
Paid parking Gas fireplace turned off for summer
The bed even though it was king-size was in really bad condition. it was slipping to one side badly. Also a very bad cheap mattress. There was only one towel bar in the bathroom for four people. There were two of us and we didn't have enough room on the towel bar.
The accommodation was to a very high standard and within walking distance to all aspects of Whistler
Good setup for a family, room was clean and the building was quiet. Great stay
Sharp knives, ability to have beverages in plastic cups.close parking
Room only one pot and pan Was advertised as king bed we got a queen No patio furniture, this was quite chappy as it is summer we wanted to be on the deck No air conditioner
In the summer the units are way too hot!! They should all have an air condition unit in master. Inside is hotter than out!! Fans help at night a bit
The location is very near to the Blackcomb base. It has wonderful swimming pool and huts.
The location of the lodge and the size and location of the individual unit rented.
The bed was very hard!
Location is good. Suite is spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Staff helpful.
Had to clean chairs in balcony before using. Not enough soap in bathroom. No extra garbage bags.
Suit was nice and dishwasher was handy but I've never stayed at a hotel before that doesn't have maid service. Ive stayed at one star up to 5 star and always had maid service. For the overpriced rooms you'd think they'd have that. Maid service Is impied at hotels...would not recommend
No mad service!! I was there for 4 days and got no new sheets or towels!! The pool towels are literally smaller than a baby towel and are so old they look like rags. Sometimes u get what u pay for but in this case its exrememly expensive and u get nothing but ur room. I was shocked at no maid service for the price. I've stayed at a hotel that costs 45 bucks a night and there was maid service. I've never heard of that before, as at a hotel maid service is implied. Would not recommend to anyone
