This is reminiscent of the mom and pops of my youth, but better. A true motel, but directly across from the cove's shore and big picture window on each side. Lovely and quaint! Off the beaten trail, so very quiet.
Bathroom floor was worn linoleum and no hairdryer. No big deal.
no desk. bathroom needed upgrade
Lovely view, nice decor, clean.
Poor wifi, lack of hot water for showers, sheets rough, didn't refresh towels, dishes for 2nd night.
very friendly staff, location somewhat away from town
Quiet location but still close to town of Lunenberg. Owners, staff and the dog were all wonderful and friendly. We would and may stay again in a couple of years.
Can honestly say there was nothing we could say we disliked. Sensitive smoke detector when cooking maybe but safety is a premimum so we managed.
Privacy and Peace of the Area
Could have used some up-dating
Very hard bed,tiny bathroom.
I liked the cleaniness and location. Pressure in the shower.
Too small. Stove, fridge, zink combination was very loud. Kept us awake all night.
We had the opportunity to stay the first night in the renovated facilities that were absolutely lovely. Such a cozy place to weather the storm. We highly recommend this place.
The second night we were in a cabin. The facilities were older but all functioning.
location furniture & design -V good , with lovely colours used cleanliness & tidiness
no breakfast provided I felt that a breakfast should have been included at the rate charged ,as in other B&B's I used in 1 week.
So immaculte, great bed and everything we needed, and incredibly budget friendly.
No problems but I was glad I prepared for mote stay by bringing own hair dryer. Next time I would stay much longer. Great place to relax near Lunenburg.
Great location. Staff nice. Animals to pet.
BUGS lots if bugs in the room. Beds not super comfortable.
Well situated and very friendly staff
This is a little out of town, so the business of the town does not encroach with the serenity of the place.
The location was lovely, quiet with good views
Our cabin was cramped and in urgent need of an upgrade. The bathroom was shabby and the kitchen area a bit of a mess, with a hotchpotch of utensils. This was our first place of stay in Nova Scotia outside Halifax, and we were worried that other booked accommodation would be much the same, but fortunately, everywhere else was great. It is always difficult when the available space is small, but this was definitely below par.
Location directly across from a quiet inlet with pebbly crescent beach. Bright, clean rooms with smooth surface floors. Cheerful greeting and departure
Did not appear to have a hair dryer. (I may have simply missed it)
Location was idyllic. Close to Lunenberg and yet quiet and looking to the sea. Would have liked to stay longer.
Proximity to Luneburg and other surprises like LaHavre and back roads by the sea.
Beds a wee bit hard- older mattresses.
The view and the beach.
Very small bathroom. Poor WiFi.
It was nice. Clean.
The shower had poor pressure and wasn't hot enough.
it is a beautiful location
The bathroom was a little to small
Location is excellent to Lunenburg. Quaint looking but needs updating. Everything is old n thin, worn out...well used.
Hard like a rock bed. Towels thin and must be 30 yrs old! Tidy but not super clean. Old fridge froze all our food. Cabin smelled moldy and damp.
Our kids loved the bunnies and there is a good outdoor space for them to run and kick the ball around. We didn't have a chance to explore the beach as much but sat around the firepit, dreaming of roasting marshmallows :o) The owner was very attentive and answered all our questions.
Our particular unit had an older bathroom which could use an update (mildewy grout, etc). The bathmat seemed dirty so I just tucked it away from the kids. My husband found the sofabed uncomfortable.
Tiny cottage with seaside decor, immaculately clean and extremely well equipped. Even provided washup liquid and T towels. Fabulous sea views. Terrace outside with own bbq. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lots of character. Watched ospreys from terrace.
Owner has large friendly dog, but it pesters you when on your terrace. Not a prob if you like dogs..I don't...also poos on lawns, and did not appreciate treading in a packet of it! Very minor annoyance as place charming and would recommend.
The beds were very comfortable and clean.
Needs paint and abit of upgrading around the grounds and buildings.
