The accommodation itself was nice but the organisation was no good!
They charged us the wrong amount for accommodation, we got a parking ticket for security telling us to park in the wrong spot and no one wanted to help. Also the parking was $35!!!! Which we were not informed about when booking
Very good location, very helpful staff, clean and quiet rooms
Location, location location. Right across from Gretsky's and an easy walk to Rogers Centre.
One of the plugs in the living room with all the electronics (TV, hi-fi, etc) did not work. Once we figured that out we just reconfigured the plugs etc and it worked out fine. The telephone and wi-fi did not work either.
Loved the location...had a concert at the Rogers Center...was walking distance. Also, the hotel that was attached to the Atlas Suites was very accommodating.
We did not have a designated parking spot...had to pay $35 a day to park. Also, after booking our reservation it was next to impossible to contact anyone (at Atlas Suites) via telephone.
Location is good for downtown Toronto (we were there for a Blue Jays game and other downtown attractions). Beds were also comfortable.
Cleanliness of the rooms is suspect. We found hair on the main floor and the carpeting was quite dirty as well. Cable for the TV's comes with only basic service. The biggest issue we had, though, was service after we noticed there was no shower curtain (or rod) in the bathroom. Management dropped off a new shower curtain but wasn't helpful since there was no rod. Mopping up water with two of the four towels didn't help with a family of four. I asked for a partial refund on our stay but none was provided. The explanation was that the shower curtain and rod were housed in the bedroom closet. Apparently it's standard protocol for guests to have to rummage through the closets and install themselves. Put quite a damper on our stay, and the fact they saw no need to make up for it afterwards was disappointing. Given rates are comparable to other hotel properties in downtown Toronto, next time I will stay in a hotel for better service when needed.
Location is excellent if you need amenities, waterfront or Rodgers centre. As an apartment you have lots of space. Security at front desk.
This unit was in disrepair. The main floor bathroom ceiling was collapsing due to water damage, the carpets were grossly stained, the bathtub had paint stains in it. The walls were all scraped and marked up. The second bedroom was not a bedroom as it had no window...which I think is actually a fire safety violation. The master bedroom was spacious enough but the floor vent slats were all broken. The vent was repaired by a cold air return cover placed overtop. The screws were not in completely which was a hazard being the vent was directly on the floor in front of the window thus indeed resulting in injury. When we brought forward our concerns about the cleanliness and collapsing ceiling the response was just "yes I know". For the money we paid there are MANY other options in the same area for less money. The Atlas Suites Wellington at 36 Bluejays Way is located in the/at the Soho Hotel. I would suggest just booking there, or the Renaissance at Rodgers Centre or the Ramada Harbor front or the Hilton Garden Inn even. All in the same area. You will not have the space of an actual apartment but likely you will have a facility in good repair for the $$$$ you will pay at Atlas. I am a seasoned world traveller and have rented many homes, apartments and hotel rooms. An individual can get better value for their money elsewhere.
Location to restaurants and attractions. Secure entrance with professional and very helpful staffing (Sayeed)
The kitchen was well-equipped with every appliance. Plenty of extra bedding. Washer and dryer came in handy. The sheets and towels smelled fresh, not industrial like at a hotel. Much more space than a hotel. Parking convenient in hotel basement. Staff very helpful. Location is excellent for attending events at Rogers Centre.
The place is getting a little run down but it's fine. Not much character to the place or the location - very much central downtown feeling but plenty of restaurants nearby. At the moment (7/14), a huge construction project next door provides a lot of noise and an ugly view. A little difficult to find because there is no mention of Atlas Suites anywhere on the building.
Atlas Suites is an excellent base for any Toronto traveller. Easy walking distance to all attractions, harbour, shore, restaurants and bars. Staff on site very helpful and any emails to guest services are quickly replied to. I travelled with my husband and 3 teenage sons and the apartment was well equipped, was a great fit for us all and the free wifi was a great added bonus. Would definitely use Atlas Suites again and would recommend for a stay in the city.
Can't say there's anything I didn't like as there was nothing during my stay that had a negative impact but if I had to be picky the bathroom area could have been cleaner on arrival.
Wifi, location, parking
Said there was a balcony - there wasn't.
Apartment was spacious and clean and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.
Room was supposed to be ready by 3 pm. When we arrived at 5:30 pm to check in they made us sit in the lobby with our luggage for almost 30 minutes because the apartment was being cleaned and wasn't ready.
Apartment was modern and layer out well. We couldn't have picked a better location, right next to CN Tower, Blues Jay's stadium, close to ferry to the Islands and within walking distance to some great neighborhoods. Also within biking distance to U of T. Although we had 3 adult couples, there was enough room for all. Staff (especially Tunday) was especially helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked and the laundry facilities were great to have in the apartment. We LOVED Toronto, everyone was so nice, we hope to return again soon!
Shower curtain was a little mildewy. Although the living room didn't have a sofa bed, the floor mattress was quite comfortable.
- Lack of parking facilities - Rudeness of several security staff - Constant chasing of items we expect to be in the facility. "Interesting to know "if" we will get a response to this survey"
Size of suite
Back bedroom very dark
Location was good. Close to everything.
Access issues and cleaning of the apartment was delayed with the cleaner still drying towels and making beds after we had checked in. Getting keys was a mission with no Receptionist only Security who didn't have a clue about where the keys were. Bedroom 2 was very small for two adults with no windows.
The location was perfect--right in the middle of the city and within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. The apartment, itself, was quite pleasant. It was clean and modern. We were very comfortable and found the staff to be very helpful.
There are a couple of things that are misleading about the ad for this apartment. One, it is advertised as a two bedroom--it's really one nice-sized bed room and a closet with a bed. Two, it's advertised as a two bathroom apartment--it's really one and a half bathrooms. There is only one shower in the apartment. Finally, no mention is made about parking. Be prepared to pay an extra $22 per day to park.
No balcony as promised No second bedroom as promised Unclean Poor bed linen Kitchen ill equiped Poor decor
Location was great to all downtown activities and convention center
that we only had one key
Good location. The room would have been OK had we been only 4 although we did make the reservation for 6 people.
No mattress on the sofa bed. I had to sleep on the floor and finally buy a camping mattress at MEC. The staff was absolutely helpless. Also, when I called the staff at the phone number provided on the email, they had no answers to simple questions as "do I need a code to enter the building if we arrive late evening ? " I was left alone and got poor sleep for a price of 340/night. My children slept well in the regular beds though. Funny: there was one hair dryer, with a French plug....
It was a great location and having access to the pool and parking was great.
When we arrived our room was dirty, the beds had not been changed and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The company did however arrange for someone to come and clean the room and did give us a discount on our first nights stay.
Good location in the center of town, close to everything you need. Clean, well-equipped apartment with great views of Toronto. Large bathroom with bath and shower. The beds were excellent. The kitchen had all the necessary what you need. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for good quality.
No AC - sleeping at 27C / 75 F was terrible, staff did not give a s... Carpet stained and dirty, overall bad maintenance (e.g. table almost falling apart, broken door locks)
