The breakfast is amazing!
The value was fantastic: wi-fi, full, delicious breakfast included (omelette, eggs, crepe, croissant, good coffee).
very helpful staff ....Thank you good breakfast clean room excellent location over all very comfortable stay
mattress & pillow was bit hard for me ...this is a personal preference ...some may like it ...
I have stayed at the Auberge many times. The price is right and the attached restaurant is quite superb. The staff are excellent and service cannot be faulted.
Very helpful staff, gorgeous rooms with view of the cathedral, easy walking to restaurants and bars, convenient parking with a daily fee, breakfast included in attached restaurant
Can't wait to go back!!!location staff food just excellent would recommend it to any one thank you
Nothing at all
-Great location -Delicious sit down 3 course breakfast (included in the room) -Helpful staff (gave great recommendations for local attractions and must sees) -Easy to find and well marked
-Parking is not free ($15.00 a day) but is located on the same street so it is not a far walk to the hotel. -Room did not have a refrigerator and a queen size bed - WiFi a bit slow
Great location exceptional staff, very spacious room, nice bath tub!
Very small niggle- jets didn't work in tub, no hooks for towels, and toiletry bag.
Beautiful room with hardwood floors and very high ceilings and large, deep window wells. Perfectly functional bathroom though nothing fancy. Large, comfortable bed and without all those ridiculous pillows found in most hotels.
A little cold. We turned the thermostats to 20 degrees C on arrival but the hardwood floors and large windows made the room a bit harder to heat so we should have gone to 21 or 22 for more comfort.
From the beautiful scenic old Montreal style building and area to the breakfast in the morning the hotel was perfect
Hardwood floors in room, clean, quiet, access to good gym very close by, easy subway access.
Breakfast is included but is 'egg heavy'. Would be nice to have variety for a several day stay, ie maybe hot & cold cereals?
Staff were great and food was marvellous.
Breakfast could have had larger portions.
Friendly and helpful staff, generous size rooms, clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is excellent, both the included breakfast and we also enjoyed dinner there and well worth every bite!
We like small hotels and inns in general. This hotel is in a great location right in the middle of Vieux Montreal. It is an old building with wonderful thick walls, large casement windows one could actually open, fine woodwork details, and we especially liked the relatively wide corridors unlike the rabbit warren appearance of many large chain hotels. The included breakfasts were delicious. This place had all the comforts one requires.
Our room was on the street side which was good for great light but it was noisy early in the morning.
Charged four nights for parking when we only had a car for 3 nights . Thought that was a bit weak. Breakfast over at 930 ... Too early when your on holidays .
We loved the look and feel of the inn, helpfulness of the staff, attention to detail, wonderful food, and comfortable room and bed.
Could have used a couple of small shelves in bathroom to hold personal items.
We asked for a quiet room and it certainly was! Lovely room with nice hardwood floors. The food at the hotel restaurant was exceptional as was the service.
-Bonaparte Restaurant served excellent cuisine! I had a lovely time with my friend. -Interior decor -Friendly and helpful staff -Delicious breakfast
Room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Hotel is steps from old city.
A quiet street (good for sleeping) and close to everything. Lovely atmosphere in hotel, very comfortable bed, great staff and excellent food.
Conveniently located in Old Montreal. Very helpful staff. Quaint, friendly and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Includes fruit, pastries, and many different hot dishes. Restaurant has a wide variety of selections for dinner. Service and food were excellent.
A bit pricey, but then so is everything else in Montreal. Parking is $17.50 but it is just across the street.
We chose the Old Town area for its historical interest and relied on the excellent reviews on Booking.com for the Auberge Bonaparte as our hotel and with its proximity to the cruise port. The included breakfast each day in their restaurant was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our two dinners each evening. I had hoped to be thoroughly indulged and we were. I can not give enough high praise for each of the staff members we met, even on the telephone months before our arrival. Because I had inquired about a room with handicapped access to the bathroom, unbeknownst to me, the staff assigned us a lovely, large 2 room suite at no additional charge. What a wonderful welcome surprise! Every staff member from the front desk, to the concierge to the head waiter and waiters were extremely professional and made us feel very welcome guests. Hope we can return soon to be pampered again in this lovely hotel in this magnificent city. --
Great location, the breakfast was excellent.
The mattress sagged a bit.
We have just spent 5 days at the Bonaparte and can and will recommend the beautiful Auberge to everyone. We will never stay in the "bigger: hotels in Montreal again. We were spoiled for others. From the moment we were greeted by the lovely Manager Anne Marie to the the last glass of wine at the bar with Edward...it was magical The staff are the friendliest I've ever encountered and their professionalism extraordinaire. The dining room is a gem, the food, from the complimentary breakfasts to the rack of lamb with port jus ,,delicious. The chef makes one of the best froi gras ever. Maitre'de Christoph and Georges run the restaurant with fluid motion...with such pleasant staff, like Chelsea and Jason.......you will get to the symphony or theatre on time and will still not be rushed. Late night supper by the fire place is soooo romantic. Have the chocolate mousse with a sprinkling of cayenne The ambience of the place is warm, welcoming and by the time we were ready to check out we were saying good-bye to friends. We will be back.
we had to leave!
