Location next door to a restaurant
The elegant rather quirky old building. Comfortable room. Good restaurant. Well placed for visiting the Parc National du Bic (small but perfect)
Although lots of elegant little "bits and pieces" for breakfast, we felt that there should have been more choice for the price.

a bit difficult if you do not speak French
Very Clean and the staff was very nice to us. Also the included breakfast was excellent.
No blind in the windows so the sun was shining into the room very early in the morning, Squeeky floors ... I like the comfort of modern rooms... If you like antique this is the place for you... not for me.
Breakfast was simple but Ok.
We booked this B&B after a long drive up from Saint John and were extremely disappointed by the whole visit. The host made no effort to speak English (in a bi lingual country). My French was very stretched here. The bedroom was very hot with an uncomfortable bed and the restaurant was closed the night we stayed ( we only booked it so that we would not have to go out again in the evening).
The auberge was tastefully decorated, although it would have been preferable to have Québécois reproductions on the walls, rather than the usual European reprints. The owners were attentive to our needs and the location was ideal for the Parc du Bic.
The restaurant was very disappointing for both the evening meal and the breakfast, which was on a par with the packaged cold continental offerings of inexpensive chains. The soap was wafer-thin, and both soap and shampoo were not replenished in our room.
The old house is very beautiful. It looks like beeing in Elsass in France. There is also a Restaurant having an excellent Kirchen. As a Europeans we fehlt almost at home
Coffee was not European.
If you are going to visit Le Bic National Parc, this is the place where you want to stay. It felt like visiting relatives. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable.
This unpretentious inn is located close to stunning Le Bic national park, which is visible from the balcony. The main reception is adjoining the large rustic dining room. Right away, one feels welcome by the friendly owners and the atmosphere that the space exudes. One thing that I found very amusing, are the antiques sprawled across the house (old clocks, radios, toys, equipment). Our room was adequately sized, and the bed was extremely comfortable; which was very welcome after being on the road for hundreds of km. The revelation was at breakfast the following morning. The tables were f-u-l-l of baked goods, all homemade and still warm from the over: quiches, pies, cakes, crumbles, fresh everything! There was so much to choose from that we couldn't try everything, and that was truly our only disappointment. The gulf of Saint Lawrence is less than 1 km walking, whose harbour is a postcard moment in waiting. I found the sunset especially stunning! Highly recommended. Mark & Martin Holland
